The Hey Nows. They were beyond professional and kept the entire place dancing! People were coming up to us to say that was the greatest wedding they've ever been too. The female lead singers voice....omg...we thought they were playing directly from the track when she sang Valerie. If you are ever thinking about doing a band for your wedding please look no further. 11/10 incredible!

os in Greenport, NY. I told my future wife that night that this band that will play at our wedding when we get married. TRUE STORY. Well, Radio Riot played our wedding - and it was by far the best musical experience of any wedding or event we, and our guests, had ever experienced. They made the night truly special and no one stopped dancing! Barbara made the experience of booking and coordination easy. She is a true professional with great communication throughout the process. Cut to last weekend, June 3, 2023, our ten year anniversary, but more importantly, my wife's "First Annual 39th Birthday Celebration". I reached out to Radio Riot again to play our party in Concord, MA. True to form, Barbara was all over it. The band signed on and we were off! Radio Riot DELIVERS! They are true performers and kept our group of 150 dancing all night, again. They interacted with the crowd, were singing on the middle of the dance floor - everything you would hope for. This is not your standard, run-of-the-mill "wedding band". (How awful is an event with an average band?) These guys are AMAZING!! Our friends and family were absolutely blown away, as was the venue's staff. The energy they produce is not something I have ever experienced with other cover bands, and I guarantee is not something you have seen before (unless you have seen Radio Riot). Their music and voices make you feel like the original band is playing for you. True professionals all around. ! Everyone was on their feet and dancing but they also read the room really well - understanding when to be a real presence and also when to hold back. It was Sunday afternoon, but the energy was totally Saturday night! They are all so talented, lovely and professional. And working with Barbara just made everything easier. After a brief search, my parents recommended Peat Moss and the Fertilizers because they went to a wedding they played at and said it was the best wedding band they've ever seen. We knew we wanted them! The process with Barbara was smooth and easy. She is very energetic and organized, we loved working with her! The band stole the show at our wedding. Our venue was definitely not local for the band (it was about two hours upstate) but they made the trek and set up early so their van would be out of site before our ceremony began. This meant so much to us that they were set up early and were ready to go! They were energized and got the crowd excited during our introductions, first dance, and parent dances. The magic happened though when they started playing. They immediately got people on the dance floor and no one left the dance floor until dinner was served. Their set list was well thought out and flowed so incredibly well. They fed off the energy of the crowd and played them exactly what they wanted to hear. They even learned three songs that we requested and we definitely hope that "Shipping Up to Boston" is added to their regular rotation because they absolutely crushed it and it was a highlight of the night. They were so down to Earth and awesome to talk with as well. They were easy going when it came to dinner time and they stayed to chat as they were cleaning up. They were absolutely incredible. We highly recommend you book Peat Moss and the Fertilizers for your next event because we can promise you that your guests will have a BLAST and will rave about the band for many months after!

he Hey Now's perform at our wedding on 8.19.22. Saying they were absolutely amazing is an understatement. I still have guests reaching out saying that they were the best cover band they've EVER heard. I had seen them previously so I already knew how great they were but I am so happy that everyone else felt the same way. The entire group was so engaging with everyone in the crowd. I've never seen so many people stay on the dance floor at a wedding for as long as our guests did. It was exactly how we wanted it to be. I can't thank all of them enough! I know all of my friends are already saying they want them at their weddings!! I highly recommend hiring them for your special day :)

They played two huge (the only stops were for dinner and dessert), varied sets, with songs ranging from I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Runaround Sue, and even a killer pop punk section. he best live bands they’ve ever seen, including the maître d’ of my venue. Of the 130 guests I had, minimum 80% were on the dance floor at any given time. They absolutely crushed the mix of genres to appeal to all guests – Van Halen to Olivia Rodrigo to The Killers (with my husband and I’s input beforehand, of course, but we also gave them free reign to read the room as needed). I could NOT recommend them more!!

She was open and honest and helpful every step of the way when it came to booking our band, The Hey Now's. Which brings me to my second point...BOOK THEM. All the flowers and decor in the world means nothing if your music is "meh". We found The Hey Now's at a bar in Long Beach right after we got engaged and man did they bring the heat for the wedding. Not a single person sat the entire night, for a 4 hour reception. What was especially amazing is the range of songs in their catalogue. Everyone from my 85 year old uncle to my 15 year old nephew knew every song and belted the lyrics out with them. I wish I could scream to the rooftops how amazing this group, with Barbara at the helm, were to work with. Take it from me...they are well worth it and you will not regret the decision.

When I asked about adding a female singer and saxophone player, and how to play my grandfather's old singing recordings during the dinner break, she helped coordinate with ease. She helped me get some ideas for the ceremony songs and was very accommodating. As a Covid bride who needed to postpone, she set my mind at ease, was responsive, and made rescheduling easy. My guests will be raving for years to come! I wish I could do it all over again because I just love Nicolls road! I’m looking forward to the next time I get to see them live when I visit home. Also I have to say for such a popular incredible band in Long Island the pricing was reasonable! Run don’t walk to book them for your wedding. Total game changer!
