THANK YOU to TaraSimone and the staff at Barbara's for their talent and assistance in making my wedding flowers beautiful! From the start, Tara was really awesome to work with. At our initial meeting, she saw pictures of my dress, and my ideas on pinterest and was able to gauge exactly what my taste was and what I envisioned. She was spot-on; and executed such a beautiful bridal bouquet. I loved it so much that I recently requested a replica of the bouquet in artificial flowers! She was just so sweet and approachable. To be honest, I am going to miss corresponding with her! Tara is a talented florist with a very keen artistic eye. It doesn't get better; and I loved working with her every step of the way!

We could not have been happier with our ceremony and reception décor, thanks to the extraordinary work of the talented Tara Simone and her amazing team at Barbara's Flowers. The most challenging area of our venue was the dinner space, which is ordinarily a conference room. We knew we would need a florist with great vision, creativity and style to help guide the necessary transformation. Barbara's Flowers greatly exceeded our expectations, completely transforming the space into a magical and gorgeous wonderland of cascading floral centerpieces, well-appointed votives, and brilliantly creative accents. Tara Simone's expertise goes well beyond floral arrangements - she has truly mastered the intricate workings of all things "wedding" and she very skillfully guided our overall decor. Our vision of infusing classic NYC elegance with the warmth of the Caribbean was brought to life in the most wonderful way imaginable. We were blown away by the finished product. Tara Simone and her team handled our wedding preparations with unmatched professionalism and care. We highly recommend!!!

We felt so fortunate that we trusted previous reviews and went to check out Barbara's Flowers--we had met with top-rated, popular florists and felt that no one was hearing what we wanted and were going to create very cookie-cutter arrangements. At our first meeting, TaraSimone spent over an hour getting to know us as a couple, trying to see how she could represent our relationship in floral arrangements (it sounds crazy, but it worked!), and made suggestions that took our ideas to the next level. Then, free of charge, we came back to see a full mock centerpiece, so we could critique it. Let me tell you, there was nothing to improve--the vibrant colors and beautiful textures were highlighted by soft candlelight, and as soon as I saw it, I knew TaraSimone was the florist for us. The icing on the cake, however, was that she not only stayed within our budget, but was extremely professional throughout--responsive to email and phone calls, willing to meet the caterer on before the wedding to trouble shoot, etc. When our guests walked in, their mouths dropped--people said the room was so beautiful, and it was so us. And that's thanks to TaraSimone's artistry, and the time she took to get to know us. We can't thank you enough!
