We are so happy with our wedding photos and experience with Barbora Jones photography! From her website and portfolio alone, we knew that Barbora would be a top choice to capture our special day. But after our consultation call, we knew she was THE choice. She was personable and shared so many early tips with us, including for our timeline and potential photo locations throughout our venue. Leading up to the wedding, she would check in with us regularly and helped us identify the moments, items, and locations that were most important to us to capture. At the rehearsal and wedding day, she arrived early and blended in seamlessly with our party – making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, while also capturing beautiful candid moments as well. We are so grateful for Barbora’s brilliant, detail-oriented, and creative eye, and we will treasure our wedding photos forever. As we embark on other major moments and milestones in our life, we will definitely be giving Barbora a call!

Barbora is a great photographer! We hired her for our wedding and engagement shoot. Coordinating with her was incredibly easy. She showed up to both events early and fully prepared. She has a natural eye for what makes a great picture, and was able to help us take many great pictures of us and our wedding guests that we will cherish forever. Barbora was amazing to work with!! She helped arrange our timeline, gave recommendations and guidance along the whole way and was great with communicating during our year of planning. Unfortunately, the night before our wedding she became sick but she immediately had replacement photographers for us! She still did all of our editing and the turn around time was incredible! We are so happy we picked her to work with!

Bara exceeded every expectation. She has a remarkable eye for detail and an innate ability to bring out the genuine emotions that made our day so special.
Her photography speaks for itself. Every image radiates the love, joy, and connection that we shared, not only on the wedding day but in all the events leading up to it. I've seen plenty of wedding photos that feel stiff or overly contrived, but Bara’s work captured the natural, unscripted beauty of our celebration. Last month, I attended the wedding of my eldest daughter and had the wonderful experience of being captured while dancing and walking her down the aisle. Normally, I dislike any photo I'm in as I don't consider myself photogenic, but the photographer on this day did an exceptional job. The photos turned out beautifully, capturing the essence of such precious moments. The quality and artistry of the images far exceeded my expectations. Barbora was absolutely amazing from start until finish. I booked her in January for a December wedding and last minute in October panicked because I didn't have any photos of ourselves together and she made a genuine effort to slot me in as quickly as she could so I could get an engagement shoot. We also got our engagement photos back lightning fast. At our wedding she was attentive, you never felt like you were asking for a shot, and she made a bunch of nervous people look like they were having a great time for formals! We also received our wedding photos back amazingly fast, I was in awe of her turnaround time for her service. Considering the expensiveness of the area she is the best priced photographer you will ever find and you get great value for your money. I would hire her for any kind of photography shoot but you should definitely hire her for your wedding she is perfect! Thank you so much Barbora for everything!

She worked in coordination with her second photographer and our videographer seamlessly. Barbora was a joy to have photograph our wedding (and engagement photos!)! Our photos speak for themselves — she captured our day authentically and beautifully! We couldn’t be happier with how she was able to perfectly capture our joy, love and the beautiful surroundings. We really appreciated how she went above and beyond to get the perfect shot/angle, scrambling up stairs, hiding in trees, pre-visiting our venue to scope out spots, and working SO hard for such a long time. She recommended poses and reviewed our photos list the week before, which helped make sure we didn’t miss anything :) She also did SUCH a great job arranging our flat lay photos, helping organize family photos and jumping in to capture candid photos throughout the night! Not to mention, we got our photos back quickly and there were so many! She is responsive, helpful and truly a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend hiring her for any photography needs, but especially a wedding day!!!

Barbora was absolutely incredible to work with. She knew how to make us feel comfortable, she knew how to get us to relax and she understood exactly what we were looking for.
From the moment we first met her for our engagement photos, she was engaging, funny, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. She took us all around Washington DC and made sure we got some amazing shots.
On our wedding day she was perfect. She got all of the shots that we wanted, was super incredible with all of our family and friends, and was an amazing part of the day. It would be funny, we would be laughing and she would feed off our energy and smile too.
We recently got our wedding photos back and they are stunning. We are blown away with the job that she did and can't thank her enough.

I sincerely cannot recommend Barbora enough. Please look no further for a wedding photographer! She truly went above and beyond to make my vision come to life. I had sent her poses and locations that I liked, and well before our photoshoot, she visited all the places I identified ahead of time to scope out the best shots, and had a plan for how we could walk between them to maximize light and time. She gave excellent direction to me and my fiance (and we needed it!). He was reluctant to even DO an engagement photoshoot, but Barbora put him instantly at ease, and he couldn't stop raving about her and how she gave such great direction without it being "too much" after we left. The photos we received back were better than I could have pictured! I'm convinced there's no one better in the DC/VA area. Thank you, Barbora!!

Working with Barbora was one of the highlights of our entire wedding experience, hands down. From the first phone call, we recognized that not only she is incredibly professional and would produce the highest quality work, but she was also just FUN and interesting person to work with! Her love for her profession is palpable, which makes working with ther such a rewarding and fulfilling experience. You spend a LOT of time with your photographer on your wedding day, more so than you realize, and we felt SO lucky to have Barbora by our sides. She helped to keep everything on track, calmed us down when we got nervous, and reminded us to stay present during an incredibly busy day. Barbora was amazing! We booked her slightly last minute after some unfortunate challenges with our previous photographer. Barbora was an amazing communicator, she was prepared and the end product showed it! We received our sneak peak within 48 hours and all of our photos within a month.

My fiancé and I were unsure which photographer to choose for our engagement/wedding pictures but we are convinced Barbora is the best in the DC area. She is literally everything you want in a photographer. She is so friendly, responds promptly, offers great direction during shoots, and obviously takes gorgeous pictures! My fiancé and I had our engagement pics taken by her at the national portrait gallery in DC and we went to get dinner right afterwards. We weren’t even done with dinner and she had already sent us many of the pictures from that day’s shoot! She sent us the remainder of the pictures the very next day with editing and everything! If you want breathtakingly gorgeous photos delivered to you extremely quickly (I know I do) and to work with a super sweet and professional photographer, I highly recommend Barbora. We recently got married in March 2022 in Glenview Mansion, MD. Wedding planning during a pandemic was quite difficult but the easiest and best decision I made was to hire Barbora as my wedding photographer! I knew that I wanted my photos to capture the love and joy between my husband and I and our family and friends on the wedding day. I also envisioned a natural look that showcased the beauty of the setting and all of the special details I put such hard work into choosing. We typically hate getting our photo taken but all of our anxieties about the day-of vanished once we had our amazing engagement photo shoot with Barbora. Barbora is one amazing photographer, she photographed our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. She literally worked non-stop, stayed a little longer to ensure she captured the entirety of the day.
