BareBones Co- aka McKenzie Mahan, is AMAZING ! Honestly everything, her style and natural eye for capturing the BEST moments is so spot on !! Also being SO creative with her ideas and fun shots, she honestly left us speechless ! She was PERFECT for our group, and honestly helped lead us throughout the entire day and into the night with great shots and captured EVERYTHING. We honestly can’t thank her enough!! The group loved her and she totally is well experienced with dealing with our chaotic party & day ! Right when we got engaged we both thought immediately of McKenzie for her natural look and style! We really like wholesome and not over edited pictures and ones that really capture who we are! McKenzie was PERFECT for that, we thankfully had known her from our early days dating and she was able to bring us back to our start. Her style, her naturalness, and creative outdoorsy style is really what we love and appreciate with her! She’s AMAZING! Easy to communicate with, super laid back and easy going to work with, full of amazing ideas and style! We can’t thank her enough!!!

Working with McKenzie was a dream. Not only did our photos turn out amazing, she helped keep our wedding day on track. She was fun to work with and helped both my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. Everyone at our micro-wedding loved her and wouldn't stop talking about what a great experience it was to have her there taking photos. We keep joking that we want to get married again just so we can get more amazing photos taken by McKenzie.

Planning a wedding in 2020 came with a lot of uncertainty but hiring barebones co. Was the best decision we made and truly a bright side to the event! McKenzie’s energy is so positive and relaxed. We were crazy nervous for photos but she made us feel comfortable and provided a lot of creative direction that helped us pose while still looking natural. We had our gallery back in less than 2 weeks and she sent us over previews the same night. I am blown away by how stunning our photos turned out! With McKenzie you get so much more than a photographer and beautiful photos though. Her time management kept us on track and when my dress straps became unbearably tight halfway through the night, she came up with three redesign ideas and even helped me pin it in place! Mckenzie made our wedding day so so special. Even our friends and family are still raving about how great she was and could not agree more! Hire her!!

McKenzie was truly incredible for our wedding! She handled all the COVID changes like a professional and brought so much joy to our day with her upbeat spirit. We absolutely loved all the photos and are so thankful she was able to capture our wedding. I highly recommend her!

There are genuinely not enough, or accurate words to describe how incredible Mckenzie is. Mostly because it's sort of impossible to quantify or explain the way she makes you feel when she's around you, she just has a lovely and relaxing energy that makes it so much easier to handle the inevitable stresses of a wedding. We all choose our photographers based on their work, of course, but I would advise any future bride to consider that these are people who will be contributing to the vibes surrounding you on such an important day, and their personality is almost as important. Aside from what an incredible person she is, there is the matter of her talent, of course. Which is ASTOUNDING. The photos she took will be with us for the rest of our lives, and I can honestly say they could not be more beautiful or magical. She exceeded our expectations, which were high given how fantastic her portfolio is. We feel like we hit the jackpot, so do yourself a favor and hire her before she books up!

Bare Bones Co could not have been a better fit for our wedding day. Not only did she take gorgeous pictures, she was able to capture all of the different emotions and moments that made our day so special. It truly was a day that dreams were made of, and having her snapshots and photos keeps us reminiscing. She was much more than a vendor that day, she was a helpful friend who seamlessly was capturing the essence of our celebration. We asked Bare Bones Creatives to shoot our engagement photos and were blown away by how easy and comfortable she made us feel! We enjoyed it so much, right then and there we asked her to shoot our wedding photos, which were a year from then. We are so glad we did because she did an amazing job!
