Barking Vows

Based in Omaha, NE, Barking Vows is a wedding pet-care service. It is owned by married duo, Ashely and Evan Vela. They take delight in helping couples celebrate their wedding with their beloved pets nearby. Ashely and Evan of Barking Vows, who have dogs of their own, understand how important pets are to people. During their wedding, they found they wanted their dogs to be present but also didn't want to leave the hassle of looking after them to their family and friends. As a result, they could not bring their dogs to their celebrations. Inspired by this experience, they founded their own business to ensure that other couples didn't have to make that difficult decision. Barking Vows offers options for watching your pet during your engagement session, wedding, and for drop-ins and overnight care when you are away. They can provide cooling clothes, treats, pet transportation, water, and more to keep your pet safe and happy. Ashley and Evan are able to meet with couples up to two weeks in advance of the big day to get to know you and your pet. During the event, the duo can also send photos of your pet to keep you at ease.
