tarted looking for florists that basically supplied flowers, for me to DIY it, and I found Barnstead Farmstead. Kirsten was super responsive and had a call with me, I expressed my concerns, and she blew my mind by writing up a proposal of what she could provide in my budget. Turns out I didn’t need to DIY the flowers at all! Honestly, she understood me and what I was looking for SO well. I knew she was the one I wanted to hire, immediately. Her designs struck the perfect balance between boho/natural/organic and refined – everything was beautiful yet fuss-free, which is exactly what I wanted. I’m obsessed with my flower crown and bouquet – and the flower crown actually wound up drying out really well, so not only did it hold up on my head all day/night long (seriously wore that thing for a solid 12+ hours!) but I still have it as a keepsake from the day! She also helped me out so much with a last-minute crisis when my tent was delivered with BRIGHT BLUE water barrels that weren’t fully concealed by the covers the rental company supplied. I took a photo of them and sent them to her the day before the wedding, in a panic, and she pulled through with some vines and greenery to make everything look beautiful! Really, I’m so happy with all of my vendors from my wedding, but I can’t stop raving about Kirsten and Barnstead Farmstead. She’s amazing.

himsical and full of color! One of the big reasons I chose Barnstead Farmstead was their emphasis on growing flowers locally and in an environmentally conscious way. Everything we received was grown on their farm, and she even included some roadside-foraged wildflowers that I had specifically requested. I could not have been more pleased!

We are Kirsten and Keith Barnstead. Newlyweds, flower farmers, and best friends. We have a passion for growing anything and everything, and for enjoying all that our beautiful region has to offer - the lakes & farms, the food & wine, and our friends and neighbors. We built our small family farm with a focus on sustainability and our flowers reflect that. We aim to provide exceptional quality with a responsible mindset. All of our flowers are grown with love, by us. Weddings are everything we appreciate about living here and the most joyful way to share our flowers. We can't wait to meet you!
