Working from Wilmington, DE, Barnyard Photography provides classic photography services. Owned by Sean Grizzel, this studio serves Delaware, the Tri-State, and the Philadelphia area. This studio strives to create heirlooms for you and your loved ones to treasure for years to come. Sean earned a degree in photography and digital media from Drexel University, a reflection of his artistic talents. He joined the studio in 2008 before ascending to a leadership role in 2011. Having worked many years in the business, he knows the ins and outs of fine art and commercial photography. Barnyard Photography photographs in a contemporary and realistic manner. The emotions present in subjects' faces feel natural and the poses unstaged. A credit to Sean’s skills, photos can be taken in all lighting and seasons for some dramatic and ethereal snapshots. He works by taking snapshots in a chronological, story-like manner to really preserve the memories from that day. Barnyard Photography can take bridal portraits, engagements photos, and images from your wedding day. Social media sharing and digital files are all available for electronic copies as well as printed photos. They provide a range of wedding packages with different sized prints to fill your newlywed home with. A digital, full-size photograph is given with every package offered.

Barnyard Photography is AMAZING! They were incredibly transparent, warm and supportive during every single interaction with them from the intake call to get a better understanding of their service offerings, to the day of the wedding. Sean is absolutely wonderful and offers that white glove service that many vendors fall short of. Our photographer, Rochelle, was a dream to work with. She is beyond talented and made us feel so comfortable and natural during photos. She just has this way about her that puts you at ease and you just know she's going to take dope pictures- which she did. There wasn't a picture she took that we didn't like. Seriously, all of them are incredible! Book Barnyard Photography and request Rochelle if you can. It will be the best vendor and wedding decision you make! We couldn’t be more thrilled with Barnyard!! They were so easy to work with every step of the way, from before we hired them to after we received our photos. Ashton was fantastic - he learned everyone’s names (bridal party AND family), kept the energy high all day, efficiently got our portraits done so that we could enjoy our reception, and gave us amazing photos that we will always treasure and that we feel really captured our relationship and our special day. Representatives from Barnyard were always quick to answer our emails, or offer to call to help us work through our questions. Plus the price was better than any other photography vendor we came across in our research. We sought out Barnyard because my brother and sister-in-law were so happy with their experience using them, and I will definitely highly recommend them to friends going forward!!

The experience with Barnyard Photography was simply amazing. The entire process from start to finish was easy. Kyle was incredible to work with. On top of taking excellent photos he made the process fun especially for us as we hate having our pictures taken. He was very relaxed and provided great feedback on shots. He was open to ideas and allowed us to make requests on the fly. During the reception he was always around taking photos but never felt intrusive. He was always in the right spot. Barynayrd Photography and their team were an absolute DREAM to work with for wedding photography and videography! The quality of the photos, the ability to truly capture the raw emotion that leaps from the photos, and the energy the team brought to our special day set a high standard for wedding day photography and videography! Barnyard was fantastic for our wedding! We had so many amazing pictures to choose from, the photographers were calm and made the day go very smooth. When hiccups in the timeline happened, they assured us we were fine and not to worry! The pictures turned out absolutely stunning- everyone was so happy with them. We used Barnyard for our wedding photography, and the experience was great! Your photographer(s) will be with you most of your day so definitely make sure you check out websites with examples of their work. We liked the look of Barnyard’s photos from looking at the portfolios on their website. The colors and photos stood out to us, and that’s what we wanted. We had two photographers. Our main photographer, Rochelle, worked a lot more with me, my husband, bridal party, and our families. You can tell she’s been doing this a while. She kept us moving and took great shots. It was helpful that she and the other photographer Shayne were seemingly familiar with the property too, which I liked because they knew where to get good shots. Barnyard was able to accommodate any special picture we wanted, though they do prefer you don’t come in with a huge list of requests. They got all our formal shots done in a timely manner, enough so that we had a little bit of time to hang out at cocktail hour with our guests! The turnaround for photos was very reasonable as well. They’ll answer all your questions in a timely manner and really are a big factor in creating your schedule. I recommend Barnyard to anyone exploring photo options. A very friendly and informative company to work with.

After reading the many good reviews they had on google, I decided to hire Barnyard Photography for our wedding pictures and this is a decision I glad I made . My husband and I got married recently on October 14th, 2023. Our photographers were Justin and Rochelle and they were absolutely AMAZING! It was a super rainy day but that didn't dampen their creativity and commitment to getting the best shots possible. I don’t know where to begin. The barnyard team is amazing ! From the moment you inquire about them they support you, answer all your questions, keep in contact leading up to your big day. They took the most amazing pictures I’ve ever seen and then encourage you and make you smile the entire time making sure you feel comfortable. From the moment I booked Barnyard Photography, I’ve had nothing but great things to say! Sean helped me throughout the wedding planning process and was always willing to answer any questions I had. James was our photographer for our engagement session as well as our wedding day. All I can say is wow! James you rock! Sean was so flexible and easy to work with, always available to talk! Then on the day of we had Adam and Marvin for photography, who were PHENOMENAL. Adam kept everyone in order ( aka all the crazy groomsmen) for pictures , while Marvin made sure we all looked our best (and always had my train fluffed and laying perfectly). & we had Joey for videography who was so attentive and was great at chasing around and getting video of our wild toddler who refused to sit still for any pictures. 10/10 recommend this company, and especially these guys!!

Very professional & organized. Always ready to answer any questions or concerns we had. Very on top of things & never left you unclear of how the process would be. The day of photographers we had (Daniel & Shayne) were amazing! Even my guests still talk about them to this day about how they never missed a shot or an angle they got amazing candid photos. The turn around time for the photos was amazing, we were told 4/8 weeks & we actually got them in 4 weeks. So we were very thrilled, the photos were great they took note of everyone we wanted a photo with & went beyond my expectations of candid photos. We had a lot of guests so I was impressed they shot as many people as they did. I love how detailed they came out & I know I’ll be loving these photos for the rest of my life.

Barnyard is the best photography for the money. Both photographers we hired for our wedding were on point! They made us feel super comfortable and relaxed during a very chaotic day. I don’t think there was anything they didn’t capture of our special day. James felt like a friend as we used him for our engagement photos. We had Adam as our photographer and I could not recommend him and the company enough!!! He was so attentative to all of our needs and pictures. He was very easy to work with and made me feel comfortable the entire time and even helped me with all my little stresses that happened the day of. Even pre wedding he was easy to get in touch with to talk out all the details and made me feel so relaxed about going over the time line and made sure I had enough time. We only had one photographer and he was all that we needed. Turn around time for our pictures was perfect as well and they came out beautifully!! Can not recommend them enough!!!!

Everything was fantastic, Barnyard was the first part of our wedding that we booked and I am so happy about that decision. We contracted our package in 2020 and had numerous changes in the two years until we finally had our wedding. They were super flexible and accommodating. The pictures are beautiful and they captured the day perfectly. We hoped to avoid stiff and rigid pictures and we got super intimate, candid moments. Adam was a phenomenal photographer. He captured the best candid photos that really showcased our guests, myself and my husband having a great time celebrating. He was punctual, friendly, and professional. The turn around time to get our photos back was very quick; I'm pleasantly surprised / And the quality of photos is superb. 5 golden stars for Barnyard Photography.

Barnyard was fantastic and kept our large bridal party (22 people) on schedule even with changing several locations! They were professional and great to work with! The booking process was very easy and they provided great customer service as well. I would definitely recommend them!
