Working from Wilmington, DE, Barnyard Photography provides classic photography services. Owned by Sean Grizzel, this studio serves Delaware, the Tri-State, and the Philadelphia area. This studio strives to create heirlooms for you and your loved ones to treasure for years to come.
Sean earned a degree in photography and digital media from Drexel University, a reflection of his artistic talents. He joined the studio in 2008 before ascending to a leadership role in 2011. Having worked many years in the business, he knows the ins and outs of fine art and commercial photography.
Barnyard Photography photographs in a contemporary and realistic manner. The emotions present in subjects' faces feel natural and the poses unstaged. A credit to Sean’s skills, photos can be taken in all lighting and seasons for some dramatic and ethereal snapshots. He works by taking snapshots in a chronological, story-like manner to really preserve the memories from that day.
Barnyard Photography can take bridal portraits, engagements photos, and images from your wedding day. Social media sharing and digital files are all available for electronic copies as well as printed photos. They provide a range of wedding packages with different sized prints to fill your newlywed home with. A digital, full-size photograph is given with every package offered.

t disappoint! My best advice would be to trust them and their skills as photographers implicitly.
1. Liz gave plenty of direction in terms of body placement, posture, hand placement, etc to give us flawless photos. If you are new to being photographed like me, you’ll find this kind of direction extremely helpful and comforting.
2. At the same time, she created a very calm, light and fun atmosphere that creates true, genuine moments between you and your significant other. We are two people that usually feel very uncomfortable in front of a camera, however we had such an enjoyable experience with Liz.
I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else for our wedding.

art of the reception. Our photographer was Ashton. Let me start by saying, he was fun and professional as well as the whole process since booking so I have no complaints about it. The photos are not great. Half of my husbands head is cut off in photos with me in the ceremony.. when we are exchanging rings there are only pics of our hands. There aren’t much photos of me with beautiful poses, they all look the same boring ones. also, the lighting is awful in a lot of our outside photos, lots of overexposed photos! There are so many pictures of items and my husbands suit? But like 3-4 pics of me getting ready and at the reception, my mom had to tell him to take pictures of her at the table. No pics of anyone’s table! the editing wasn’t good and I’m so bummed about it because I only have like 5 pictures that I like out of the whole album. I sent an email to the company and no one ever responded.

th examples of their work. We liked the look of Barnyard’s photos from looking at the portfolios on their website. The colors and photos stood out to us, and that’s what we wanted. We had two photographers. Our main photographer, Rochelle, worked a lot more with me, my husband, bridal party, and our families. You can tell she’s been doing this a while. She kept us moving and took great shots. It was helpful that she and the other photographer Shayne were seemingly familiar with the property too, which I liked because they knew where to get good shots. Barnyard was able to accommodate any special picture we wanted, though they do prefer you don’t come in with a huge list of requests. They got all our formal shots done in a timely manner, enough so that we had a little bit of time to hang out at cocktail hour with our guests! The turnaround for photos was very reasonable as well. They’ll answer all your questions in a timely manner and really are a big factor in creating your schedule. I recommend Barnyard to anyone exploring photo options. A very friendly and informative company to work with.
