In one of her own videos, she states "Photography is so important...I capture that day so that you can get lost in the celebration and then you can revisit it anytime you want."  This is so heartbreaking for me. That is exactly what we expected but the exact opposite of what we received.  We don't have any photos of me (the bride) walking down the aisle, our first kiss at the altar, our announcement as husband and wife or our walk back down the aisle together, none of our entrances into the reception or our first dance. Only photos with half of my family and ZERO of my husband's family, none of our dinner or dinner guests. These are all photos we posed for.  She lacked attention to detail and the ability to properly stage people.  At one point, the sun was in our eyes and instead of reframing us, she told us to  “just close your eyes, it will look like you blinked”.  So even the pictures we do have aren't necessarily ones that we would want to have printed and framed. I later found where she also states that she "exclusively shoots still images now".  I think she is great at that. We have lots of pretty pictures of our rings, my bouquet, and even some of my staged bridal pictures turned out well.  However, a wedding photographer is required to act on the fly: adapt to your setting, adjust focus, lighting and flash, and have reliable equipment. This is not her strength and unfortunately we will never be able to look back on those irreplaceable moments.  Unless you will be in a studio or staged setting, you are better off having friends and family take photos at your event. Unfortunately, mine were leaving photo taking to the professional so that they could enjoy the evening.
