He provided us super easy tools to help plan out our wedding from his purview, stayed in great communication with us, worked amazingly with our fellow vendors, and most importantly, is an INCREDIBLE DJ and kept our dance floor packed and high-energy all night. When we planned our wedding, music was something very important to us. We have been to weddings where the DJ does not transitions well, and there is a lull in the fun. As a queer couple, we were also worried about finding a DJ who would listen to how we wanted to be introduced, and some of our less-traditional requests. We were also worried about how our eclectic music tastes would flow. Eric is a true professional, who put all those concerns to rest. Eric listened to us as a couple, and facilitated an incredibly fun filled night. So many people commented on how smooth the transitions were and we 100% agreed. We cannot recommend them enough.

Eric was so wonderful to work with. He listened to every request I made before our big day and was great with following up. All my guests, young & old, were out on the dance floor all night. Eric was so helpful during the planning process, and Raphael was an incredible DJ who kept the dance floor going! We had a blast and the guests loved the energy. We were able to stay in budget and provide our guests with a fun way to celebrate with us. The planning was so easy and streamlined, and both Raphael and Eric were so kind and professional. Bash Beats was an awesome DJ for our wedding. We worked with Eric from the start and clicked immediately. He clearly understood what we wanted and how to DJ a great reception. A day before our wedding he emailed us saying that one of his staff had left and he was going to have to cover weddings elsewhere and that Brad would be our DJ. I didn't see the email so I found out when I walked into the venue the afternoon of our wedding and saw not Eric. Brad was awesome - he had all of the information we had given Eric, ran everything as smoothly as we could've imagined and made sure we were getting what we wanted. Bash Beats kept the vibes going all night! Eric helped us with the initial phone calls and planning, while DJ Dave was our DJ for our wedding, and both of them are awesome! Dave set up a FaceTime call with us a couple days before the wedding to discuss our music planning document, and then he provided great music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception. His years of experience as a DJ was fantastic, as we had a wide array of music genres and song requests throughout the day, and he delivered! Even with our random song requests throughout the reception, he was able to keep the party going smoothly and everyone had a blast all night. Eric was so great! We didn't have a traditional wedding and we wanted someone who could read the room and set the right vibe without much instruction from us. He understood our music tastes and was so much cooler than a traditional wedding DJ. I'm sure he would be great in any type of setting because he clearly has a passion for all types of music. I highly recommend Bash Beats for your special day! Eric was very professional and organized throughout the whole planning process and was very understanding whenever we had to change meeting times. Our wedding was almost 4 months ago now...and our friends are still talking about Bash Beats. From the first time we spoke to Eric on the phone I knew we were in the right spot. A passionate entrepreneur and family man. Eric was incredibly helpful and patient. We did not have very much instruction to provide him, but that did not matter. He knew exactly what to do, where to go, how to keep things on schedule and how to throw a great party! We had Eric to MC/DJ and we also used their 360 photo booth which our friends and family LOVED. With no exaggeration, I had 20+ people come up to me by the end of the night asking where we found our DJ and saying “You have the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding!” Well you readers are the lucky ones, because you can stop your search right this moment. There is no need to do anything else besides contacting Eric. He was truly a delight from day one to the big day. He was one of our most responsive vendors who laid a plan to make our celebration fantastic. From running the most smooth AV system w/ a live band during our ceremony to providing the most pleasant sounding array of cocktail music songs, to the most rad dance that had 50+ people dancing for 3.5 HOURS! Our professional wedding planner even couldn’t believe how many people stayed dancing the entire night. It was hard to leave the dance floor because you never knew when Eric was going to mix two amazing songs together with the smoothest transitions and high effort DJ-ing. Eric isn’t just a DJ, he is a performer. He listened to our music vibes beforehand, read the room, and then transformed the space into the most enjoyable-personalized dancing experience. Eric is amazing! My nonprofit has worked with him for a few years to DJ at our end of year event and he is fantastic, so we hired him as well for our wedding. The music and dancing was one of our favorite parts of the night. As a wedding planner, I got to work with one of the best DJ's I've ever worked with! Eric is professional, but also very personable. Before the wedding, we had phone conversations and he sent us a document that allowed us to share our music preferences and plan out the songs for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Eric nailed it at our wedding and was super easy to work with! He was shockingly affordable compared to all of the other DJs talked to. He answered my gazillion questions leading up to our day and was genuinely enjoyable to chat with. Hired Bashbeats for my wedding and had Dre as my DJ. Before the big day, Dre hopped on a quick call with us where we discussed the timeline of the wedding and song choices. He was super patient and nice during the whole convo which reassured me and my wife! Dre made the big day not so nerve racking anymore. During the big day, he was out on the microphone with a huge smile on his face the entire time. Of course the music was amazing! He also announced the timeline, bridal party entrances, speeches, etc perfectly. Thank you Dre!

We were fortunate to have Eric as our DJ for our wedding. He killed it! He was super responsive and collaborated with us to create a playlist that met our tastes and would please our guests. Holy crap, Eric is the GOAT. We hired Eric and his team to DJ our wedding and at least 10 guests asked us who he was, how they could hire him, or just tell us how incredible he was. We had our wedding at Red Rocks, so obviously music is very important to my husband and me. We chose Eric based off his other great reviews and they did not lie!! Eric struck an incredible balance between playing songs from our curated playlist we gave him in advance (1.5 hours in length) and playing other hits that kept our guests dancing for over 2 hours! We made a game-time decision to skip our cake cutting because we were having so much fun tearing up the dance floor. Even my mom, who cannot walk and rarely dances, was tearing up the dance floor with us in her scooter! It was such a special moment. Additionally, Eric took charge of the entire day. We didn't have a wedding planner so we were a little nervous about having to coordinate a lot of small stuff during the day itself. Nope, Eric took care of so many little details and coordinated with our other vendors wonderfully. He made sure our parents and bridal party did their speeches on time too. If you don't hire Eric, you are making the biggest mistake of your life. Yes that is hyperbole... but without Eric, our wedding would not have been nearly as perfect.

The best decision we made was hiring Bash Beats. Eric was an incredible DJ! Everyone at our wedding talked about how amazing he was with the music and so kind. Eric makes sure to take all of your wants/don’t wants into consideration for the night. Eric was an amazing DJ. My wife and I have a wide variety of taste in music. We sent Eric a list of music we like from Alabama Shakes to 90's Hip Hop. He incorporated everything we asked for and more! He met our high standard of music and created such an amazing vibe for our wedding. Bash Beats is one HELL of a DJ! Listen, if you need a great DJ that values you as a person/customer, understand how to set the mood for your wedding no matter the religion, race, age or any other “walks of life” , then Bash Beats is the one! Very helpful with are music selection for the wedding, and the equipment that they brought was awesome! Not a DJs with subpar speakers/equipment, Bash Beats will not disappoint! Bash Beats is easy to work with, flexible and very knowledgeable about weddings. I highly recommend this DJ!

Eric was AMAZING!! He was so in-tune with what my husband & I wanted for our special day! He kept EVERYONE dancing the entire night! He had to do 2 encore songs because everyone was still wanting to dance! He is a great MC & was very very easy to work with and communicate with! He was our best vendor for our wedding! If there is one thing i'd suggest for your big day, it is hiring Eric! He was extremely responsive from the moment we reached out and it was clear he is a professional is an expert in his field. We were planning from a distance (VA to IL) and he was understanding and flexible in our needs for meetings and any questions. Planning a wedding during COVID is no easy feat and although I am sure Eric was dealing with a lot of change from not only us but from other clients and restrictions, it never showed in any of our communications and he was pleasant during every interaction. My wife and I also wanted to have a live musician and singer to play a song during our first dance and Eric worked his magic and found a singer to sing while he played guitar. They even went as far to customize the song & record a sample for my wife and I to listen to! After it was all said and done, the many changes and planning from afar got the best of us and we had to cancel our wedding and eloped locally. We without a doubt know that Eric and the hired singer, Hannah, would have knocked it out of the park. If we ever need DJ services in IL or surrounding areas, he is our first pick!

Eric was the consummate professional throughout multiple changes leading up to our wedding day. From postponement to venue changes to wedding processional adjustments just days before the wedding, he always worked within the parameters of what we had to deal with, as well as giving us great advice on vibe and mood from the weddings he worked during the COVID pandemic. And that was just in the lead up; on the day of the wedding, the consistent communication led to a seamless ceremony and a celebration in which his knack for reading a room led to a night we—and our guests—will never forget. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, great DJs know how music can be that portal to joy and escape and personal connection. We are so grateful that Eric is of that top, top class.

We originally had hired a different DJ for our wedding on 10/10/2020, however they were being really difficult with adjusting plans due to COVID-19 (they refused to play any music for dancing). We got a recommendation to check out Bash Beats by our venue (The Lytle House), and we are SO glad we got to work with Eric. He was just a true delight to connect with, we had a phone consultation before booking him for our big day. Planning was easy, Eric was very responsive, and we had a final session with him on the phone a week or two before the wedding. Eric explained the steps he was taking to keep the event as safe as possible (ex: extra sanitizing of all equipment such as microphones that the officiant and any guests would be using), and he was flexible and great at listening to what we wanted as well. In terms of the actual day of, Eric was AMAZING. He kept the party going, I don't think I've danced so much my entire life. Even some guests who told me they normally don't really dance at weddings were on the (socially distant) dance floor having a great time - one guest told me she and her partner were OBSESSED with Eric and will likely book him for when they get married in the future. We know our big day would not have been the same if not for Eric, and we are so thankful he was part of our celebrations.

Eric is such a talented DJ and wonderful person. He went above and beyond for us. Due to covid, we changed our dates and venues several times. He was so easy going and willing to roll with it. Our other vendors commented how great and easy to work with he was. He kept the flow of the night going so well. The music couldn’t have been better! Eric did such a great job of reading the crowd. Couldn’t recommend him more! I have already given his information out to all of our friends getting married.

Eric was our DJ for a 400-person wedding at Lacuna Lofts. He and his assistant absolutely killed it! They went above and beyond DJ duties - ran sound during our ceremony, helped us find a keyboard rental for a special part of our ceremony, made sure everything stayed on schedule, and kept the dance floor full until the very last song. Eric's communication was great throughout the nine months leading up to the wedding. He was very personable with all of our guests and everyone loved him. He was also extremely wonderful with our flower girl and ring bearer entrances, and listened to exactly what we needed before and throughout the event. He also did quite well handling any small snafus throughout the night (demanding guests and rain coming through the tent). Eric is amazing, and highly recommend him!

We had an all-around Great experience with Eric from the beginning. We decided on hiring a DJ a few months out from our wedding date, so we were scrambling a bit. Eric was very quick to reply to our request. He is a true professional and very easy to do business with – his personality is very kind and patient. I have never planned a wedding (or any large event) so I was extremely nervous and flustered – Eric took the time to ask the right questions and get to know my now husband and I, and in doing so, he was able to point us in the right direction of the options that worked best for us! It was nice to have peace about this part of my wedding, because Eric not only helped us through the planning process, he was very involved the day of our wedding and helped us keep our timeline on track and was very flexible as we changed things throughout the day. We loved how friendly and engaged he was with the kids at our wedding. The music was on point and really captured our personalities and accommodated our guests. Thank you so much, Eric!

My husband and I had a great experience with Eric. He was so responsive from the beginning and extremely flexible and easy to work with. He really cared about and focused on understanding our music preferences and putting together sets of exactly what we wanted to hear at our wedding. He did one set of acoustic guitar and singing, which he sounded amazing. The rest of the night was a DJ set and our floor was full of dancing guests. Eric, or Bash Beats, is absolutely amazing! He was the DJ to our wedding in 2016 and he was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. Definitely my favorite vendor.
