Planning a wedding during COVID is no easy feat and although I am sure Eric was dealing with a lot of change from not only us but from other clients and restrictions, it never showed in any of our communications and he was pleasant during every interaction. My wife and I also wanted to have a live musician and singer to play a song during our first dance and Eric worked his magic and found a singer to sing while he played guitar. They even went as far to customize the song & record a sample for my wife and I to listen to! After it was all said and done, the many changes and planning from afar got the best of us and we had to cancel our wedding and eloped locally. We without a doubt know that Eric and the hired singer, Hannah, would have knocked it out of the park. If we ever need DJ services in IL or surrounding areas, he is our first pick!

And that was just in the lead up; on the day of the wedding, the consistent communication led to a seamless ceremony and a celebration in which his knack for reading a room led to a night we—and our guests—will never forget. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, great DJs know how music can be that portal to joy and escape and personal connection. We are so grateful that Eric is of that top, top class.

our venue (The Lytle House), and we are SO glad we got to work with Eric. He was just a true delight to connect with, we had a phone consultation before booking him for our big day. Planning was easy, Eric was very responsive, and we had a final session with him on the phone a week or two before the wedding. Eric explained the steps he was taking to keep the event as safe as possible (ex: extra sanitizing of all equipment such as microphones that the officiant and any guests would be using), and he was flexible and great at listening to what we wanted as well. In terms of the actual day of, Eric was AMAZING. He kept the party going, I don't think I've danced so much my entire life. Even some guests who told me they normally don't really dance at weddings were on the (socially distant) dance floor having a great time - one guest told me she and her partner were OBSESSED with Eric and will likely book him for when they get married in the future. We know our big day would not have been the same if not for Eric, and we are so thankful he was part of our celebrations.
