Bo was incredible! She took the most beautiful photos of our wedding and really made an effort to get to know us as a couple leading up to the wedding. She is so kind and easy to work with! Highly recommend for any wedding or family photos.

Bo helped make our wedding day an incredible occasion that will never fade from our memories. The photos we've printed are already treasured possessions for us. She and her team were incredibly pleasant and professional. We met Bo at the wedding of friends, and we were impressed with her style and attitude immediately. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, thanks to Bo. She was the best photographer we could ask for—during our engagement photos, she immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and there's no one else we'd rather spend our entire wedding day with. Bo, we want to say thank you for being the most perfect photographer we ever wished we could find. Our engagement photos were so amazing that everyone would talk about them. Bo and her team did an AMAZING job capturing our wedding day. They were so easy and pleasant to work with. Our wedding was in December, so we were fighting the clock to get photos with daylight, and Bo worked so quickly and thoroughly, to keep us on track and get every shot we wanted. Her and her team even helped round up both sides of our extended families to get all of our family photos in before our cocktail hour so we could enjoy the party. One of the best choices we made for our wedding was having Bo as our photographer. She is a talented artist as is apparent through her beautiful photographs but is also incredibly professional. I actually almost missed her email at first among the many vendors who I emailed. I had talked to many awesome photographers, but I always felt like something was missing. Once I went back and asked Bo for a gallery, there was no way I could hire anyone else. Her photographs are just at a different level. Each photograph in her gallery was taken and edited with absolute thought and care. There was a certain element of cohesiveness and natural light. I love the way she composes her photos and takes advantage of natural lighting. Bo brings a huge level of passion into her work and it shows. I find her photos incredibly timeless, and I know we’ll look back at them with lots of joy and love. About 2.5 months before our wedding, COVID-19 hit and we were forced to postpone. Bo helped us through this hurdle with grace. As is evident by her other reviews, Bo is incredibly professional and responsive. I never worried about how she would be able to take lead on the day of the wedding, which is incredibly important. She took the most beautiful photographs, even with the weather being uncertain that day. My family all commented how amazing she was, and how she was able to keep everyone calm. I am so incredibly lucky that we were able to get Bo as a photographer. She was amazing during the engagement shoot and during the wedding day. My husband and I are quite awkward but she managed to stay patient with us the entire time, giving us direction that made us feel comfortable. The pictures also came out absolutely amazing. Yun is an incredibly amazing photographer and an absolute delight to work with! My (now) fiancé had her photograph the surprise proposal - we were so happy with how the photos turned out that we immediately reached out to her for our engagement photoshoot in Central Park and Dumbo. My wedding was the 4th time I've had the pleasure of being photographed by Bo. She has done all of my siblings weddings as well as all of our engagement photos, and now even a newborn shoot. Bo is an amazing wedding photographer and absolute delight to work with! The photos she captured of our special day are absolutely priceless, beautiful, and PERFECTLY captured the PERFECT day that we had. Her use of natural light made our photos feel unique and different from the wedding photos we had seen of our other married friends, and from other photographers we had looked at during the vetting process. During the planning process she was extremely easy to work with, and understanding too! We were both in really busy work periods leading up to the wedding and were unable to fit in our engagement shoot so she was great in working with us around that. I do wish we could have fit that in as I know the photos would have turned out amazing! During our day, her and her assistant were fantastic, and just a pleasure to be around while they captured our special day. Barely anyone even noticed them taking photos at our church ceremony! Our one request was that we could enjoy most of our cocktail hour, and they were able to stay on schedule and get all the bridal party, wedding party, and family shots in before then, so we could mingle with our guests. We didn't get a videographer and I am actually really glad that we didn't pay for one because when I look at our wedding photos, they perfectly tell the story of our special day. I can't thank Bo enough for capturing our wedding day so elegantly and I hope I get to work with her again in the future for another special life event. I highly recommend her to all bride-to-be's!!

Bo is seriously amazing and we can honestly say that with full 110% confidence! Wedding planning can be a pain and so stressful but never once did we ever have to worry about Bo or our photos. She keeps in constant communication with you and is quick to answer any questions or concerns you may have which is helpful in making the wedding process a whole lot less stressful. Prior to meeting Bo, my husband and I were worried how our photos would turn out only because we’re the most awkward couple ever and cannot for the life of us pose properly for photos, but she made the whole process so fun and relaxed that any smiles or laughs she captured were all truly genuine! I mean… I would have felt the same way if I didn’t have Bo as our wedding photographer too! So many people have reached out to us about her services and we can not recommend her enough! We honestly have no regrets and would totally book her again if we could do it all over. Bo and her assistant were absolutely amazing. Bo was very organised through the planning process, responding to emails quickly, and assisting with any questions I had. She was flexible in adjusting the contract after life got crazy and we weren't able to squeeze in our engagement photos. On the day, she was incredible. She knew exactly where to go, was calm throughout when everyone decided they wanted group photos after the ceremony and ate into the sunset hour. She and her assistant worked seamlessly, was never intruding, and took gorgeous photos and I will forever be grateful.

WE. LOVE. BO! Full disclosure - all we've seen so far are a few preview photos, but we loved Bo so much, I wanted to write a review right away. I found Bo on the Knot and after looking at her website and Instagram, I was really interested. A lot of wedding photographers that we were looking at had a darker, moodier look and we really wanted a light, happy, bright look to our photos. After talking with Bo and looking at more of her work, we knew we wanted to go with her. Bo and Eileen were our two photographers on the day of the wedding - they both and such a calm, professional, yet happy vibe that made us and our wedding parties feel excited yet calm and taken care of. Bo's direction was perfect - helpful, direct, but friendly and not too "pose-y." We were a little behind when it was time for family photos (not their fault at all - our flowers were late which held up some of the portraits), but Bo and Eileen called out and took photos quickly and efficiently. We have a large complicated family so it was a lot of people to wrangle! We got our preview photos two days after the wedding and they are beautiful. I can't stop looking at them. I would highly recommend Bo & Bashful Captures to any of my friends getting married! She was truly wonderful and I can't say enough good things.

I found ‘bashful captures’ on IG, fell in love with Bo’s wedding photos & immediately start following her. During my wedding process Bo was always quick to respond (which was super important to me) Photography was one of the most important details for me in terms of my wedding, she was very helpful going over the timeline with me, which was super helpful. So in the beginning I didn’t want to do a ‘first look’ because I thought it would take away any special feelings my husband will have if he saw me before, but after meeting Bo it was one less wedding detail I didn’t have to worry about, she advised not only it won’t take away any special feelings, it will ensure more intimate photos of us together. I got married 8.18.18. Bo & her assistant showed up & went right to work, they were very easy, friendly and calming to me, the day of. My fiancé & I were kinda clueless when it came to posing for pictures for our big day ( didn’t want to look stiff) nor did we want our pictures to look to ‘cookie cutter’ but after some helpful coaching from Bo... it was all good. 🤗

I am so happy that we were able to get Bo as our photographer!! We first met for our engagement shoot, she was very collaborative with us on locations and timing that would work best for our pictures. We absolutely loved our engagement photos and we blew them up to display at our wedding. We spoke several times before the wedding date to go over the details so I didn't feel lost in the process. Bo and her 2nd shooter were amazing on my wedding day! They came early to the hotel we were getting ready at and captured all of the pre-wedding moments with my girls and separately with my husband and his groomsman. It was a long day! Pictures at 3 different locations but Bo was super supportive guiding us from shoot to shoot. The USB with our pictures were delivered to us in a beautiful glass box. Bo did an amazing job at capturing so many genuine, natural smiles and laughs between my husband and I, not the posed/forced looks I was afraid was going to happen. The pictures also have a consistent airy and romantic feel to them, love that you can tell that each photo is professionally taken. I hope to work with her again!

I discovered Bo on instagram, I saw some beautiful wedding photos she posted, so I reached out on her website. She was very responsive and accommodating, allowing me to tailor a package to my needs and budget, and her photo gallery and blogs are gorgeous so I booked her right away. My husband and I are not great with pictures and don’t really enjoy taking them, but I booked a session for engagement photos so we could get some practice. I’m so glad I did! In our 1 hour session, Bo had us walk around Central Park, it was very easy and relaxed and she got some great shots that we used for our save the dates. On the day of the wedding, Bo was a dream. My bridesmaids wished they had booked her for their weddings, too! She has an easy and way about her that’s calming, even on such a hectic and high pressure day. She truly captured the stunning venue, and took a wide variety of both staged and also so many candid moments throughout the night. I feel so grateful and lucky I was able to work with Bo. Having a great photographer is so important, and I’m so happy I have so many beautiful pictures to remember the day, the memories and to make me smile. BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER!!! I found Bo randomly on Pinterest and struck gold. My wedding was a destination wedding, so I was initially anxious about having to book vendors without personally knowing anyone who used Bashful Captures before. Bo was extremely professional, and her style was EXACTLY what I envisioned for wedding photos. Months prior to our wedding, we had multiple phone conversations about the style and types of shots we wanted to include. On the day of our wedding, Bo’s team moved quickly to capture all of our desired shots (plus more). I expected to receive our photos about 5 months after our wedding, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive them after only two months. She sent me a beautiful glass box with rose gold trim that perfectly matched our wedding theme. The box contained a handwritten thank you card, usb stick, and a huge stack of prints - DID NPT EXPECT THAT AT ALL! I was so impressed with the quality of her photos, thoughtful package of photos, and timely delivery. I only wish that I lived closer to the NY area so that I can use her again for future events and recommend her to others. Thank you, Bo.

She was available to meet and has had many years of wedding photography experience which is evident in her work. I spoke to several other references who all loved working with her and had nothing but great things to say! After my wedding day this past May, I would definitely have to agree. Bo photographed my wedding photos this past August and she was amazing. During my search for a wedding photographer I knew i wanted someone whose aesthetics were romantic, bright and airy. Bo's photos captured all these qualities and more. She was very helpful throughout the process and made sure to make a list with me of moments i wanted to make sure to capture on my wedding day. On the wedding day it did get a little hectic, but Bo was so professional and detailed. Later on I was worried certain moments weren't caught and I couldn't even remember if I took solo shots outside! But Bo was able to quickly turn around preview photos for us within a week of our wedding and i was relieved to see that Bo did get solo shots and detailed shots that I forgot about. Everyone who has seen our preview photos has raved about them and said how they look like a fairy tale. I can't wait to see the rest but had to give Bo at bashful captures a raving review for her work.
