She was such a joy to work with. She went above and beyond for our cake tasting!!!! Plus, I’m celiac and no one even knew. The cake was GONE! But really, she has adorable personality, is easy to work with and made me feel comfortable that she not only was excited about my aesthetic, but it would come true. And it was even better then I’d hoped for!!

Everyone LOVED our cake at the wedding! We choose the wedding cake, and chocolate flavors and both were a hit. One thing we appreciated with our experience with Stefanie, was her adaptability. Our florist was supposed to leave flowers for the cake and it got missed, but they had already left. Stefanie made a solution by taking from one of the arrangements in a way no one would notice, our cake was still beautiful in the end. I appreciated her ability to make it work, she makes delicious cakes and will do whatever she can to make it a good experience.

First off, Stefanie is the kindest soul and incredibly easy to work with! She squeezed us in her busy wedding season when we explained our difficult situation. Our cake tasting was 3 mini cakes beautifully decorated like flowers and when I say I am not a cake or chocolate person and her chocolate cake had me counting down the minutes to cake time at my reception I mean it!! My husband was also concerned about the “vegan” aspect because he loves his milk and eggs and still walked away from our tasting and wedding saying it was the best cake he’s ever tasted. Also beautifully decorated, I recommend stefanie and her cake to anyone looking for a good cake and zero stress delivery. OBSESSED!!

Stef from Basic Batter is hands down the absolute best!! She is personable, creative, and of course bakes the most beautiful and delicious cakes. Hands down the best cake I have ever tasted in my life! Our wedding guests were raving about the cake! Even weeks later they are still talking about how amazing the cake was! Highly recommend! We received many compliments on the cake. It was a nice touch to the reception. Basic Batter was great to work with also. They made good suggestions on design and delivered and set up well.

I am not a big fan of sweets that is more my husbands thing. However when we tasted Stefanie's cakes I left craving them! I even ordered some cupcakes once we returned home from our honeymoon! The entire process from the first message to the end of the event Stefanie was wonderful to work with. She kept in touch and followed up with us in the months before the wedding. She was one vendor I was not worried about showing up and blowing us away with her work. We plan to be repeat customers for her delicious treats!

Stefanie was amazing all around! Communication was excellent, she made both the wedding cake and the grooms cake, and they both looked and tasted amazing!! Plus, at the last minute, she had a death in her family and was going to have her assistant deliver the cakes. Instead, she flew back in town after the funeral just to deliver them herself! If that isn’t customer service, I don’t know what is! I highly recommend her to everyone!

Basic Batter worked with our colors, ideas for the wedding cake, flavors, and even gave us ideas. I hired her for my bridal shower cake and for our wedding cake! My bridal shower doll cake was a throwback and she was eager to learn how to do it and pulled it off amazingly well! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, great fun personality, easy to work with. She made the process enjoyable and the prices were reasonable! My maid of honor was so impressed that she hired her for her daughter’s birthday cake. On top of everything she’s vegan friendly and our guests couldn’t believe it. I would highly recommend her not just for weddings but for any event you have!
