To put it best from one of our wedding guests (who also has celiac, no less):
“Thank you so much for being so thoughtful about the gluten allergy. It was so freaking cool to be ab...
le to go to a wedding and eat pizza and cookies. And the pizza caterers were so thoughtful and amazing with me.”
This note from one of our friends really encapsulates our experience with Basic Kneads at our September 2024 wedding. Christen and Joel went above and beyond when serving all of our guests—not only churning out tons of amazing pizza so quickly that no one ever needed to wait more than a few moments, but also taking the time to help accommodate a variety of different dietary restrictions with as much care as logistically possible in the small food truck environment. My husband and I already knew how awesome the food was, as we had been fortunate enough to have gone to a tasting with Basic Kneads a couple summers back to select from their pizza menu (Thai Chili Chicken was a guest favorite, but we’re both Veggie Wiseguy stans), but were once again blown away by it all. Christen also brought Jacob and me a plate of various appetizers right after the ceremony so we could have a private moment before engaging with our guests during cocktail hour. Many of our guests went up for seconds and thirds, and our only regret is that the leftover pizzas that Basic Kneads boxed up for us mysteriously vanished before the reception was over. ;) We would recommend Basic Kneads to anyone getting married in Colorado. They are communicative, affordable, and make unbelievably great food!
