I was a bit worried at first because I had already gone over all of the details with my initial florist, but when I went and met Brooks for the first time, I left feeling 500% confident that he understood my vision and would make it come to life on my wedding day. He did that and MORE. Not only is Brooks so fun and easy to work with, but he sure knows what he is doing. He made some awesome suggestions without ever feeling pushy, listened to what I wanted, and made everything look absolutely beautiful. We were married under a chuppah which was provided by Basset, and Brooks transformed it into a floral masterpiece. It was seriously more than I ever could have imagined. That, along with the center pieces & bouquets were simply gorgeous. Brooks also created a beautiful arrangement for our sweetheart table and an arrangement of fresh flowers on our wedding cake and welcome sign. To me, flowers at a wedding are everything, and Brooks knocked it out of the park.

I just asked for two arrangements that could be brought in afterwards to decorate the reception space (to save money) and what we ended up getting was breathtaking. He goes above and beyond to work with your style, personality, and vision. I knew that I wanted sunflowers and I wanted my colors to be vibrant, sunny, and happy. He went out of his way to show me how the flowers would look using real flowers, rather than pictures. We discussed how we could set up for the ceremony and he placed sunflowers along the chairs of the aisle and he placed coral rose petals lining the aisle as well. On my wedding day when I opened up the bouquets, they were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The centerpieces were spectacular, everyone commented on their beauty! The ceremony he set up was breathtaking as well. The photographer told me that she had never seen such beautiful arrangements!! I truly could not have been more happy with Brooks!! He is an incredibly talented artist and I recommend him 110%!!!!!

cribe it very precisely - a "know it when I see it" type - and Brooks was very patient in figuring out exactly what we were hoping for and bringing it to life. Our centerpieces were gorgeous, and all of my girls and I loved our bouquets. He added in a bunch of little extras and special touches that really pushed everything over the top, like a few peonies that I loved but weren't in budget to include everywhere, and extra boutonnières for the groom and best man in case the first ones wilted. Also something that really impressed us is that he never tried to up-sell us on arrangements or add-ons we didn't need - our venue was outdoors and stunning to begin with, and Brooks was wonderful about creating arrangements that complimented the natural beauty instead of trying to compete with it. The few hours before the ceremony are a bit of a blur and I unfortunately don't remember the name of the woman who was at the venue to set up and make sure everything stayed fresh and pretty, but she was very sweet and helpful, and everything looked fabulous even on a very warm and sunny day. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much Brooks & team for helping make our day so beautiful!

rs were gray and navy blue so he helped me with deciding on white roses and white hydrangeas for the bouquets and centerpieces. They looked so elegant and clean. He incorporated the dress colors into the ribbon on the bouquets and it looked wonderful. Every time I met with Brooks I felt comfortable and he is just a great guy in general so it was wonderful getting to know him. My mom and sister also enjoyed meeting with him and thought he was spectacular as well. The woman who delivered the flowers to my house was also wonderful. I changed my mind three times on where I wanted my grandmother's flowers to go and she was happy to make the changes for me. I highly recommend Bassett Flowers and be sure to request Brooks!! When we first met to talk about our wedding I had no idea what I wanted for flowers. Brooks worked with me over the months and helped me find the right colors and arrangements to fit the wedding. Going to Bassett Flowers, I felt like I was just visiting a friend because Brooks was so nice and welcoming and truly showed a passion for his work. Besides the gorgeous flowers, Brooks and Bassett Flowers were very reasonably priced. Not only did we purchase the standards for weddings, we also rented an archway that Brooks and Bassett embellished with flowers and everything was well within our budget. The flowers were beautiful (I'm STILL getting compliments) and the price was fair; it was also a pleasure to work with Brooks. All of my future flower needs will certainly be handled by Bassett Flowers.

Brooks really paid attention to detail, incorporating my grandmothers handkerchief and husbands baby bonnet as my "something old" into my bouquet (for no additional cost) and when he delivered the personal flowers to the hotel where we were getting ready he included vases to put them in until we were ready to leave since it was an especially hot day (which he told us we should keep, again for no charge). While I've been speaking a lot about the service I more importantly should mention the flowers were amazing and well beyond my expectations! They were beautiful and lasted for a long time after the wedding. I would definitely recommend Basset to any bride!

We gave Brooks our budget, and he was so willing and flexible to create gorgeous flower arrangements within our price range. I only needed to provide Brooks with a few ideas and color schemes, and he ran with the rest! He has so many great ideas, and really created beautiful centerpieces and bouquets. n I envisioned, and the bridesmaid bouquets were also absolutely gorgeous. I asked for my bouquet to be a bring "sprigy" meaning berries and hydrangeas and such, but he threw in Gerber daisies which were very out of place. It didn't look right in the pictures so I would be precise about what you are looking for bouquet wise. The only snafu was our flowers for the ceremony. Brooks had them set up on pillars but they were missing and for some reason pushed to the side when the ceremony was going on. So I paid for flower arrangements to frame us at the ceremony and they were missing. It really upset me since they won't be in pictures and the sole purpose of them was for the ceremony so I felt like I wasted my money. But what can you do. Another thing to keep on the long list of things the bride has to manage.

e. I met with Brooks and showed him a few pictures of what I wanted and told him what my price point was. He was very negotiable with the price and found a way to make what I wanted work within my budget. Additionally, he was honest and fun to work with. When we went in January to see our mock table arrangement we were pleased. There was one hitch - on the day of my wedding the delivery truck went to my apartment building instead of my venue. I spoke to the driver and he was able to arrive at the venue in 20 minutes, which was still with plenty of time to set up everything we had agreed upon. Additionally, I called Brooks who immediately assured me that everything would be fine. He also came to the venue to set up and make sure that everything continued on smoothly. He even helped my husband pin on his boutonniere. In my opinion, mistakes happen, but it is about how they are remedied that truly matters. They definitely didn't loose my vote of confidence with the way they handled this small mistake. Additionally, my flowers lasted for almost 2 weeks. We were allowed to take home the vases and flowers at the end of the night and everyone who took flowers commented that they lasted a long time as well. We got many positive comments about how beautiful the flowers were that night and after looking at the pictures as well. I highly recommend Bassett Flowers & Gifts for a wedding as well as Brooks!

Instead we got bright yellow and orange imitation leaves that didn't even go to the bottom of the arch... and was quite uneven at the bottom. It looked like someone spent $10 at the Dollar store to decorate it. My husband was very upset cause up until then, we loved everything about the service and flowers we got from Bassett. I would still recommend them, but for something that will be in every single one of your ceremony shots, make sure you are as specific as possible...

We entrusted Brooks because he knows flowers and when we met with him to see a sample centerpiece, I was blown away! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT! I couldn't put into words what we wanted, but when I saw the centerpiece, my husband and I were both like, THAT IS PERFECT! The colors and flowers that Brooks used in the arrangement were gorgeous!
