My husband and I got married at Bates last summer on 4th of July weekend. This venue is perfect for the perfect wedding day. Planning was made easy by their coordinator Amanda. She...
helped us through every step of the way and made sure we were both happy with all decisions. There are plenty of beautiful spots for great pictures and plenty of space for a large crowd. The best thing about this venue is that you can come back and enjoy your wedding venue for every milestone you and your spouse will have together. First puppy pictures, pregnancy photos, baby pictures, and whole family trips during amazing Fall pumpkin season. Look no further if your dream is to be married on a beautiful farm.
Bates Nut Farm is stunning! If you are looking for an out door wedding venue that will provide you with amazing photos, this is a great place. You can pick any tree in the field to...
get married under and the reception area is gorgeous.
The owner of the venue (and optional coordinator), Sherrie Ness, is an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired Sherrie as our coordinator for our wedding and she was great. Since she owns the property and has coordinated many of the weddings on the property she is well seasoned in keeping the day running smoothly and decorating the site to looks its absolute best.
Another plus about booking Bates Nut Farm is the plethora decorations available to use (or rent depending on the item) for your wedding day. They have a large storage space filled with lanterns, rustic tables, barrels, arches and more to select from. This was a huge selling point for me because I did have to buy or bring in a ton of beautiful pieces to make the site beautiful.
Overall our wedding at Bates Nut Farm was everything we had wished for. I would highly suggest checking out the venue.

t for sunset pictures. The bridal suite was also so nice to get ready in, Sherrie even surprised us girls with coffee the morning of! I cannot wait to visit Bates with my kids someday to show them where our love story began. I cannot say enough great things about this venue!
We got married at Bates on March 31st! Though it was a bit of a confusing time with the changing of coordinators. Sherrie was amazing! Bates alone is so beautiful and the staff is ...
so incredibly friendly! They were so helpful and sat down with us the numerous times we came up to see the venue and took the time to check in us several times before the wedding. It was also a huge help having so many decorations options there! Bates really knock our socks off with their hospitality! Thank you again!

zing decorations/rustic furniture that we could work with. It was the perfect place for our rustic fairytale wedding.
My husband and I got married at Bates on Jan 27th. The day was absolutely perfect. The venue is all outside and beautiful, so if that's what you're looking for, check out Bates! Sh...
errie was a dream to work with, and just made us feel like family. The venue price includes so much (tables, chairs, linens, bridal suite, etc), which was a huge factor in us choosing this venue. I highly recommend Bates!
We had our wedding Saturday, 04.30.16 at Bates. It was better than we could ever dream up. Bates supplies tables and chairs for 150 people, buffet tables, a cake table, linens for ...
the tables, and cute rustic tables. This is the perfect venue for the "DIY" wedding. Although many things were DIY, the whole staff was there to help. We had Friday to set up most of the reception and ceremony areas. And Saturday morning to finish. Sue, Sherrie, Lauren, and the whole crew were so helpful through out the process and the day of to make sure the wedding went seamlessly. Rain was a threat that morning and the entire venue is outdoors, so make sure you factor in a plan b. Bates was a perfect venue for us, we would choose it again if we were given a choice. You are treated like family and feel like your day is very important to them as it is to you.
We got married on April 9th at Bates Nut Farm. This venue is so beautiful if you are looking for the rustic feel. My wedding coordinator was Sue she is absolutely amazing! It ended...
up raining after the ceremony the staff was so accommodating with helping us move things and and make our Wedding day absolutely perfect!!!
Beautiful venue, great staff, cost of tables and chairs for 150 included in venue cost as well as use of a couple of their cute little rustic tables. We had a Saturday wedding and ...
were able to begin set up friday afternoon, and have the rehearsal. Fully outdoor, no plan B for rain (just be wary of that, we got married in August and a freak storm blew thru and it poured for half the wedding, but the staff was super helpful with anything they could do during this time, including letting my bridesmaids and I hang out in the back of one of the stores while we tried to hold out for the rain to stop).
So many spots for pictures! They even have some packages for coordination, we got help during and with the clean up for after the wedding at a pretty reasonable price.
beautiful location. great for a reg fam fun day as well.
from the day my mom and i went to look at the venue, to the actual wedding day - sue and the bates nut farm crew were THE BEST. so incredibly helpful and willing to go above and be...
yond to make not only the day of amazing, but also the process. my mom was my wedding planner, and relied heavily on sue's expertise, and she knows her stuff! from recommendations on vendors, to seating to accommodations, she was a wealth of knowledge willing to share and help in any way. the day-of coordination helped to set up centerpieces, lawn games and all the decorations exactly how we wanted them - just with pictures and simple written instructions. if you are looking for a rustic, outdoor, BEAUTIFUL venue with an amazingly helpful staff - then bates nut farm is your place. you will not be disappointed.
