This picturesque one hundred acre farm has been in the family for over 90 years, and our climate and setting make a perfect outdoor venue. Surrounded by lush green hedges, our event area is shaded with mature trees. It is highlighted with greenery and flowering plants, giving you a backdrop to personalize how you wish. The venue includes a stage and an expansive lawn that can accommodate both large and small groups.

helped us through every step of the way and made sure we were both happy with all decisions. There are plenty of beautiful spots for great pictures and plenty of space for a large crowd. The best thing about this venue is that you can come back and enjoy your wedding venue for every milestone you and your spouse will have together. First puppy pictures, pregnancy photos, baby pictures, and whole family trips during amazing Fall pumpkin season. Look no further if your dream is to be married on a beautiful farm.

The owner of the venue (and optional coordinator), Sherrie Ness, is an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired Sherrie as our coordinator for our wedding and she was great. Since she owns the property and has coordinated many of the weddings on the property she is well seasoned in keeping the day running smoothly and decorating the site to looks its absolute best.
Another plus about booking Bates Nut Farm is the plethora decorations available to use (or rent depending on the item) for your wedding day. They have a large storage space filled with lanterns, rustic tables, barrels, arches and more to select from. This was a huge selling point for me because I did have to buy or bring in a ton of beautiful pieces to make the site beautiful.
Overall our wedding at Bates Nut Farm was everything we had wished for. I would highly suggest checking out the venue.

so incredibly friendly! They were so helpful and sat down with us the numerous times we came up to see the venue and took the time to check in us several times before the wedding. We had Friday to set up most of the reception and ceremony areas. And Saturday morning to finish. Sue, Sherrie, Lauren, and the whole crew were so helpful through out the process and the day of to make sure the wedding went seamlessly. Rain was a threat that morning and the entire venue is outdoors, so make sure you factor in a plan b. Bates was a perfect venue for us, we would choose it again if we were given a choice. You are treated like family and feel like your day is very important to them as it is to you.

were able to begin set up friday afternoon, and have the rehearsal. Fully outdoor, no plan B for rain (just be wary of that, we got married in August and a freak storm blew thru and it poured for half the wedding, but the staff was super helpful with anything they could do during this time, including letting my bridesmaids and I hang out in the back of one of the stores while we tried to hold out for the rain to stop).
So many spots for pictures! They even have some packages for coordination, we got help during and with the clean up for after the wedding at a pretty reasonable price.
