Tammy, our fair godmother/bridal attendant, was my brain, arms, legs, etc. from the moment we we were introduced 18 months before the big day and she recognized my fiance from afar when he dropped of decor and even lifted what I thought were impossibly heavy boxes. She is so sincere, specific, quick to bring joy, and always manages to bring her magic to make the day even more special. We had a half thought-out after party idea with sparse decorations and no instructions. That was no issue for Tammy. She and the Battello team brought our Prom themed surprise for the groom to LIFE and helped make an unforgettable highlight of our evening possible. We also had the added pleasure of having live fish, thanks to our talented florists, and not only the Battello team help to make sure every fish was safe, Tammy even offered to adopt one to bring home! As locals, we are so proud to share a community with Battello and their loving and talented team!!!

It was simply "us" in a wedding venue. We had the pleasure of working with Megan throughout our process. She was willing and ready to help answer all of my questions and reassure me when the inevitable wedding anxiety crept up. Dominique stepped in and seamlessly helped us on our big day as well! Tammy was our bridal attendant and truly the backbone of our day!! Every little detail was thought of by Tammy. She helped bustle my dress, held onto my lipstick, fixed my wardrobe malfunctions, and everything in between. She not only was there for my husband and I, but our family and bridal party couldn't stop raving about her attentiveness and genuine care. She essentially removed all the stress that can occur on the big day and made sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves the whole time. The entire team at Battello was truly incredible. I could not have dreamt of a more beautiful, perfect venue for our wedding, and we will be dreaming about that day for the rest of our lives!

We worked with Megan, who is an absolute sweetheart, responsive, and ultra helpful! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at Battello, and everything was spectacular and flawless from start to finish, all thanks to Megan and the Battello team! The food, drinks, vibe, service… beyond top notch and hands down the best! The past month has brought many messages and phone calls from family and friends who are RAVING about our wedding, even going as far to say that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Speaking of service, Battello’s bridal attendant Tammy is the best!! Over the past couple of years, we have gotten to know Tammy while dining at Battello, and she is the sweetest person. We had no doubt that Tammy would be as phenomenal as she always is, but Tammy exceeded all of our expectations and more! She was so attentive, energetic, fun, and kept us happy all day and night on our wedding day! Words can’t describe how appreciative we are for Battello for making our wedding day the most memorable and special day of our lives!

She helped me feel confident every step of the way and without her my vision wouldn’t have come to life! The whole staff handles every single detail with professionalism and expertise and the day of is a true example of how perfectly they execute their events. We had absolutely 0 issues, everything went according to plan and I had no stress or worry that they would deliver what we had planned. We did the ceremony and reception here and the room flip was seemless as well. The bridal attendant, Tammy, is absolutely amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable and kind to my whole bridal party. She helped my sister bustle my dress so quickly and brought us anything we could need all night long. We also had the pleasure of Dom being our day of coordinator, so we had a touch of each team member and loved them all! I seriously cannot recommend this venue enough. Everyone I speak to had the time of their lives and I am local to jersey city so I’ve met a few people who had their weddings here as well, and raving reviews from everyone! We had many detailed questions and specific changes to the menu based on our dietary restrictions, and she (and the rest of the team) was super accommodating. She responded quickly to all our questions and made sure every item and detail was exactly the way we wanted. We weren't the easiest to work with given all of our specific requirements, but Megan handled all of our questions and concerns with ease and a level of enthusiasm that made us feel so comfortable the entire time. When it came to the day of our wedding, it could not have gone more perfectly! Both Tammy (our bridal attendant) and Megan were such a huge help to both us (bride & groom) and our families. Our wedding day had some rain, so we had to move photos inside at Battello before the wedding (so we got there much earlier than anticipated). And even so, both Tammy and Megan were an incredible help from the moment we arrived, getting our families and bridal party anything and everything we could ask for. And that level of support continued all night long. They set everything up exactly as we wanted, the venue was beautiful, and we got compliments from our guests all night about the level of high quality service and professionalism from the staff. Some of our guests had been to many weddings at venues in the NYC area and attested to the fact that this venue and the staff were the best of anything else they've seen. I cannot stress enough how satisfied we were with everything at Battello, and I cannot recommend this venue enough if you are deciding where to do your wedding.

Their guidance and recommendations were extremely valuable and demonstrated their eye for detail and clearly knew how to run a seamless wedding experience. The tasting was extremely enjoyable and reassured us that the wedding food would be something the guests would be raving about for sure! The month leading up to the wedding was seamless as could be as we finalized details and headcount. Megan and Dominique were extremely quick getting back to me and coordinating drop off of the wedding decor the week leading up to the wedding. Their help with schedule details was instrumental to a smooth flow of the day. Wedding Day: The day of our wedding was an absolute dream come true. Like any wedding day, some things go wrong but it’s nothing that the team at Battello can’t handle. Tammy, our bridal attendant, was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! She was extremely attentive when we needed something and was able to contribute to how the day went adding in specific moments that were so considerate and resulted in incredible memories and stunning pictures. Megan was also very accommodating to any adjustments we needed , ensuring that the wedding party knew what they had to do for the ceremony, leaving nothing for me to have to worry about! The flow of the day could not have been more seamless. The pictures speak for themselves but what they may not show is the peace of mind we had throughout the whole event and how the Battello staff not just ran a smooth event, but they found opportunities to go above and beyond with both us and our guests. Lastly, we planned a silent disco after party at Battello. This is something they had never done before but were very willing to make work! The team did an outstanding job setting up the silent disco and distributing the headsets to our guests as we transitions from the reception to the after party! Another example that shows how willing they are to support any elements of your wedding day vision. The Day After: Battello made the day after logistics as convenient and painless as possible in picking up what we needed to the next day, helping us ship out the silent disco equipment back, and best of all…giving us some of the delicious food from the cocktail hour, allowing us to not have to worry about feeding ourselves the next day before departing on our honeymoon! No better way to end the wedding weekend than with a plate full of Battello’s delicious pastas! Guests Perspective: The food and the venue ambiance were HUGE highlights to our guests! Our guests could not stop raving about the cocktail hour food and drinks and how delicious anything they ate that night was! Their experiences and positive praise felt so reassuring that we not only picked the perfect location for us, but it resulted being the perfect experience for our guests as well! I look forward to continuing to visit Battello for delicious dining experiences and reconnecting with their outstanding servers and staff.

The communication, attention to detail, and the way all the staff made us feel, despite managing several other events and running a day-to-day restaurant, were unbelievable. Every team member was fantastic, and they operated like a well-oiled machine. I didn’t hire a wedding planner, and Tammy stepped in as my built-in bestie for the day. She was extraordinary, to the point where my bridal party and guests wished they had her on their side in everyday life! She didn't miss a beat and ensured we enjoyed every aspect of our wedding day. From bustling my dress, delivering cocktails, making sure I captured photos with my family, to helping my family with anything they needed – she was there in a heartbeat! I even told Tammy that if I lived in New Jersey, we’d be going out for a drink, because she truly exudes a beautiful person inside and out. Megan was incredibly patient and helpful. When we brought all our décor items, Megan and the team helped unload the car and took all the pressure off us. It was magical how everything was perfectly arranged the next day without us having to ask. Our guests raved about every single aspect of our day. Almost every guest told us it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues with the most amazing food & views. The cocktail hour was unforgettable, and we still get messages from friends and family saying they have never seen a cocktail hour like that before. If you're considering booking Battello, know that it’s worth every penny! We have no regrets about our day. Plus, we met two amazing couples during our tasting, so you might even make new friends out of it!
