Batter Up made a beautiful cake for our wedding this past June. We got a small two-tier cake to be displayed, and a couple of sheet cakes for guests to enjoy and it was perfect! After a tasting, we decided on a layer of almost cake with raspberry jam and balls buttercream, and a second flavor of chocolate chip cake with the cannoli cream. Both were out of this world!
Julie, the owner, was so kind, thorough, and easy to work with! Not only was the cake beautiful, our guests also commented on how delicious it was and kept asking where it was from. Julie was fantastic to work with and I would highly recommend going to her with any of your baking needs, especially wedding cakes! She is super nice, very professional, and great at what she does. From the time we scheduled our tasting with her to our wedding day she was very helpful and responsive. She delivered our cake safely to our venue which was so helpful, and the cake looked and tasted amazing!

The cupcakes were the highlight of the day! They were super moist and flavorful. Our cake was beautiful decorated as well! Julie is super easy to work with.
Julie was great to work with and is so talented! Her cakes and cookies are beyond delicious, and reasonably priced. She provided so many different dessert options and helped us through the decision making process. We will certainly be back to purchase treats next time we are in the area!
Julie is absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and responsive. She collaborated so well with our florist to make us a dream wedding cake. We also had several different cupcakes so our guests could sample all her wonderful flavors and combinations. She made our day beautiful and extra special! There aren’t enough hearts to describe how incredible Julie is and I would recommend her for any event!
Wonderfully delicious! We’d been visiting Batter Up for cupcakes and sandwiches even before planning our wedding, so we knew exactly where we wanted to order from when the time came to select a bakery!
Julie does an exceptional job whipping up delicious options: we had a cutting cake and multiple different flavors of cupcakes, including one with pipettes of Bailey’s! Those went the fastest, hahaha! Everyone was raving about the desserts the entire night! Most definitely recommend working with her for your next event but also stopping by the bakery whenever you’re passing through!

I love this bakery! I go there every time I'm visiting my home town. In fact, I love it so much I asked Julie and her team to cater my wedding weekend. She provided breakfast the day before for early guests, lunch for the wedding parties the day of AND an amazing cannoli tower for our wedding dessert (we aren't cake lovers). Julie was so organized and thoughtful about my time. Highly recommend the bakery for a muffin in the morning or a giant tray of the lemon bars for a party. They can do it all! Thanks Batter Up!
Julie's desserts were one of the highlights of our wedding last weekend in Waterville Valley, NH. Our guests were RAVING and the entire dessert table was devoured! But where Julie really made our day so special was her flexibility. With my husband & many of his family members being from Brazil, we really wanted to incorporate both Brazilian & American desserts. And Julie was happy to take on the challenge when no other American baker in the area was! She learned how to make brigadeiros & beijinhos just for us, and she nailed it. All our guests were blown away at how authentic they tasted! It's truly a testament to Julie's skill, kind heart, and passion for baking. Thank you so much Julie!
I would give Julie 10 stars if I could! She made our dream cake and the entire cake was eaten by guests. It was perfection. Julie is also a dream to work with. Cannot recommend enough!
Julie was great communicator and the cakes at our wedding were as moist and delicious as those we had for our tasting. She accommodated our request for one layer to be gluten free, and as promised, it was as yummy as the other two layers. Cakes were iced and decorated as we wished - absolutely beautiful. We had multiple compliments from our guests. All in all - fantastic!
Julie was such a delight to work with! The dessert was out of this world! Everyone at our wedding munched on the dessert and then made sure to take a box with more treats with them. Highly recommend.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! OK, so Julie is a sweetheart to work with - super friendly and easy going but also professional. She prepared our tasting as a bit of a choose your own adventure with cake and frosting and ganache all separate so we could play with different combos on our own and then she sat down with us to create our vision of the perfect cake and perfect it was!! I tasted each tier of our three tier cake and every bite was delicious! Thank you Julie for a delicious and beautifully simple cake that fit perfectly with our rustic chic theme.
Batter Up Bakery was so easy to work with. From reviewing their options and prices to placing the final order, everything was clear and organized. Julie was also a great resource to get advice and recommendations from. We got a variety of small baked goods for our wedding - mini cupcakes, cookies, and shooters. I wish I lived closer so I could get some of these weekly - they were SO good! She also did a great job putting the dessert presentation together. I definitely recommend!
There are not enough words to describe how fantastic Julie is to work with and how wonderful her cakes are. Not only is her work gorgeous it tastes fantastic.
