Our event at The View at the Battery was absolutely magical. The setting is breathtaking—tucked at the edge of the park with sweeping views of New York Harbor that make every photo...

look like a work of art. The space strikes that rare balance between elegance and warmth, creating an atmosphere where guests feel instantly welcome while still sensing the specialness of the occasion. The team at Masterpiece Caterers—Kevin, Libia, Emma, and the entire staff—truly lived up to their name. From the very beginning, they were attentive, professional, and deeply committed to making our day perfect. Every detail was handled with exceptional care, from the seamless planning process to the flawless execution on the day itself. And the food—simply incredible. Each dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor; several guests told us it was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding. What impressed us most was how smoothly everything came together. About two months before our wedding, we encountered a challenge with our venue plans. Kevin addressed the issue with such grace, empathy, and professionalism that we instantly felt reassured and supported. The coordination between all the vendors and the catering team was effortless, allowing us to fully relax and truly enjoy every moment of the celebration. If you’re looking for a venue that combines stunning views, exceptional service, and unforgettable cuisine, The View at the Battery and Masterpiece Caterers are a perfect pairing. They made our day unforgettable, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

I just had my wedding at The View at the Battery (April 2025) and cannot recommend them enough! Libia is an ANGEL. She is so sweet and professional and she (and her whole team) wil...

l make sure your day runs perfectly. Everyone was raving about the food and the venue space. It is simply the perfect space for a Manhattan wedding at a very reasonable cost (compared to other places). Thank you, Libia & Team! You made our day perfect and we are forever grateful!

First, I would like to say thank you so much to Kevin, Libia, Emma, Victoria and Elizabeth. You were all so amazing and I apologize for my late post. My husband and I tied the kn...

ot on October 3rd, 2024. This was our second choice and I am glad we went with it. Kevin was professional and listen to our needs. The location of The View was perfect. I have to say my husband fell in love with it first. The vintage look is what attracted him to it. The food was delicious. I have to say cocktail hour was the best. Our cake was delicious. The only downside is there is no parking but there are many parking garages near by. I suggest you do your research and make sure you ask the parking garages what time they close so it doesn't become a problem for your guest when its time to go home. I learned one closed early before the wedding date so I made sure my guests avoided that one . Our ceremony was done inside and located on the second floor. Our cocktail hour was on the first floor and it was a combination of inside and outside the venue. Our reception was back to the second floor. There is a bridal suite but make sure you ask if you can have your make up and hair done. I was told no but then they changed their mind which saved me money from renting a room at a hotel. I would say that is my only criticism. Overall, I am forever grateful the wedding went smoothly. I highly recommend this venue for any event you have in mind. All the staff were super friendly and that is a huge plus for me. One side note, this vendor has more than one location in case you want to see what they look like. Their prices were reasonable and they work with you. When you do book with them you will get a chance to sample their food as your wedding day approaches. Of course, you can visit their restaurant anytime to try their food.

ndustry for many years, I have very high standards, and I can confidently say that every expectation was not just met but exceeded. The setting itself is beautiful, offering a perfect blend of elegance and charm that made our special day unforgettable. Our guests are still raving about how amazing everything was, and we couldn't agree more. The food was outstanding—each dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our guests kept coming up to us to rave about how much they enjoyed the meal. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, professional, and made sure that every detail was taken care of. It was clear that they are not only experienced but also genuinely care about the experience they provide. A special thank you to Nikki Rizzo, the catering manager, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail, organization, and warm personality made the entire planning process stress-free. She went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect, and it absolutely was. If you're looking for a venue that combines stunning views, exceptional food, and first-class service, look no further than The View at Battery Park. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our choice, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning a special event.

We had an incredible wedding day & planning experience thanks to The View! Everyone there showed us warmth, hospitality and a level of transparency we hadn’t come across with other...

venues. We truly felt good about spending our money with them. We worked with Nikki as our coordinator and she was helpful and honest from day 1 and made us feel like family. We didn't need a day-of coordinator because Nikki truly took care of everything. They bent over backwards to makes sure we felt good about the day and had everything we needed. Communication throughout the whole process was seamless. We never had to chase them or wait for a response. The View is not your typical venue - they operate as a restaurant full time but have a “ballroom” upstairs with views of the river and Statue of Liberty. Everything is in-house. It was perfect for us since we wanted something laid back and fun but still elegant. The food was outstanding and we felt that the price we paid was great for everything included. Cocktail hour was crazy, the dinner portions were substantial and the drinks were strong 🙂. After the wedding, they packed up everything for us just as we had it during drop-off. We had the best day and would absolutely recommend them. Out friends and family keep bringing up how much they enjoyed the day! Plus we love that we can go back for lunch or dinner whenever we want.

After a long and exhaustive search for a venue, we were relieved to meet Kevin and get a tour of this venue. Immediately our worries subsided. The View at The Battery provided a ti...

ght gameplan that reduced our stress but allowed us to customize different aspects of the wedding planning. The cost was great and our wedding weekend in June was everything we had hoped for. From the great view of the water, to the delicious food, it all went well. But the biggest plus was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff at the venue. The team even went above and beyond to look for some missing jewelry left behind during our rehearsal dinner. We really felt at home the entire weekend and we can't recommend this enough to anyone looking for a great price at a great location.

d her team did everything imaginable to make us feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for. Nikki is extremely personable and organized—you can tell she’s an absolute professional at handling every imaginable wedding detail! From the moment we booked the venue, she was super attentive and responsive to any questions or emails (I even noted some very late-night email replies and wondered when she sleeps!). It’s no secret to most brides, the closer to your wedding date, the more stressful and overwhelming all the nitty-gritty details become. At our final meeting before the wedding, Nikki confidently reassured me that on the day of our rehearsal and final drop off to the venue, there would be nothing left to stress about. It was exactly the pep-talk I needed at the time, and she could not have been more accurate! The entire event ran seamlessly. If you’re looking for an amazing cocktail hour—look no further! The food was absolutely delicious and our guests still mention how great the lobster rolls were months later. Our photos came out beautiful, and while the waterfront is gorgeous, we also have incredible portraits in Battery Park with the Freedom Tower as our backdrop. When all was said and done, it felt like we had a trusted friend looking out for us on our wedding day. 10 out of 10, would recommend having your NYC wedding at The View!!

ood was AWESOME. The guests raved about cocktail hour and how there was so much variety, from lobster rolls to hot dogs to a roast pig. Everyone was impressed. Nikki was so communicative and so easy to work with from our first tour to our wedding day. She gave us excellent recommendations for our menu and helped us execute the vision we had for our wedding day. On the day of, she was so helpful— and something I we really appreciated is that during cocktail hour, she brought us food in the bridal suite just so we can unwind and connect after being on the go all morning for our ceremony and photos. We loved it so much that we are going for dinner on our anniversary. We highly recommend this venue

Highly recommend this venue for a seamless NYC wedding!

band and I really had our hearts set on getting married in the city, with city views, but when we started looking at venues, really did not think it was going to be possible to find a place that offered everything we were looking for, was high quality AND within our budget but The View at The Battery changed everything! The space is beautiful, the food is beyond words, the service is 5 stars and the team you will work with is the best of the absolute best in NYC!!! Kevin, Nikki, and their whole team were so incredibly kind to us from the very start and made the whole planning process so incredible easy. They were SO accommodating, honest, transparent, and thoughtful every step of the way. The team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted (no matter how big, like a swap in the menu or how small, like helping family members with directions) and made sure that, not only did my husband and I have an amazing day, but also that all of our guest did as well! All of our friends and family have been to many, many weddings in their lives, and nearly two weeks later, they are all still talking about how amazing all the staff was and that they are still dreaming about the cocktail hour and dinner meal!! All of our wedding dreams came to life thanks to Kevin and his team. I truly cannot ever say enough good things about The View at The Battery and we will be forever grateful to them for all they offered and did to make our day a perfect dream come true. We had our wedding at The View in May 2022 and we were very happy with the outcome of the day. We began working with Nikki about 9 months prior and she guided us through the whole ...

process, while offering her input, suggestions and items to consider. She was also flexible with our needs and accommodating. The venue is located in downtown Manhattan and is set right on the Hudson River with spectacular views of the harbor, the Statue of Liberty, Governor’s Island and Jersey City. On our wedding day, we held our ceremony outside which was a memorable setting for our guests and beautiful photos.Word of caution with an outside ceremony: the Staten Island Ferry makes frequent trips between the nearby Terminal and Staten Island, and the Ferry horn was sounded during our ceremony. Secondly, given that the location is popular with tourists and passerbys, be advised that there will be spectators for your ceremony and some may inadvertently show up in photos (photoshop was needed). Throughout the day, Nikki was present at all times and led the smooth executions and transitions of our ceremony, cocktail hour (which was partially outside on the patio and inside the restaurant) and reception (which was held upstairs). Our guests still talk about how incredible the food was during the cocktail hour! For our reception, we had about 170 guests, and while the seating was a little tight, there was ample room for the dance floor and our DJ, which was our main focus. The balcony space also offered an area of relief for our guests to take a break in quiet. All-in-all, we had a fantastic day. We recommend this venue and working with Nikki for anyone looking to host an event.

am wedding was in our budget but after our first meeting with Nikki at The View, we knew it was the place we had been looking for. Nikki answered EVERY single one of my questions (I mean every email, every text and every phone call) in the year leading up to our wedding and offered her suggestions when we weren't sure about certain things but she also respected and honored our vision from the beginning and worked with us from the second we first viewed the venue to the second we were leaving at the end of our wedding. Our guests could NOT stop talking about the food, the location, the drinks - everything!! I still can't believe how lucky we were to find this place. If we could get married here every year we would because we were so stress free the entire planning period and felt like we had the support of Nikki the whole time. I even asked her if she thought I would need a day of coordinator and she said that she would handle everything. I was worried about leaving her with too much but she took care of it. Her and her team put out all of our individual place cards, put our family pictures in the picture frames and found a holder for our drink sign that had broken. They also packaged EVERYTHING up (I'm talking BOXES of decor) and put it all back how we originally brought it the day before. When we came for the rehearsal the day before, our guests were treated to champagne and cold drinks and welcomed like family. Nikki helped me gather everyone I needed for our formal pictures after the ceremony and made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be and when. She was EXCEPTIONAL and helped us bring our wedding vision to life. We handled most of the décor portion ourselves (centerpieces, florals, arch, décor) and she worked with us the whole time to make sure it all came together how I pictured it. I would recommend this place to everyone!! Our guests still haven't stopped talking about our wedding 2 months later and it's all thanks to Nikki and her team.

od, 3. was reasonably priced with an open bar, 4. was beautiful with a great view, preferably waterfront, 5. had a suitable location for our photo sessions (the Battery Park was perfect), 6. had easy access to outside for our guests to take breaks, and 7. had a reliable coordinator as I didn't have a planner. The View was all of those and more. The venue is very transparent with their options and prices, and I really appreciated that. Their coordinator Nikki was awesome as well. She was my point of contact person during preparation and she was responsive to all my questions and concerns. On the day of, as I was panicking due to unexpected problems, she calmed me down and told me she'd take care of things, and I was not to worry and enjoy the day. And she figured it out and took care of all the decorations with the props I brought in. And she frequently checked in on me during the festivities and made sure I ate. Everything turned out great, Nikki truly saved my day. Our guests raved about the food (especially the lobster rolls... they were a hit!) and the waterfront view -- basically everyone took selfies on the balcony. A lot of guests came up to me to tell me that it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. I'd recommend The View in a heartbeat.

our guests could not stop raving about it. We initially wanted to have our wedding outdoors, but it was a monsoon. The team at the view made it so nobody even thought about the weather. Thank you for making the day perfect.

iscouraged as I was looking for venues a second time — until we visited The View. It made me excited for our big day again, and Kevin helped a lot of my stress melt away because he was so helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process. It seemed that everything worked out for the best because this place was an even better fit for us than our original venue. Our guests absolutely loved the food and the views. We had a lot of out-of-towners, so the location was exciting and iconic. My husband and I come from immigrant Filipino families, and so it felt extra special for us and our families to be able to see the Statue of Liberty from the venue. Huge thanks to Kevin and Nikki for making everything just beautiful! I was worried about not having a day-of-wedding coordinator, but Nikki really stepped up and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding. I also appreciated that they were really great to talk to about COVID safety. 5 stars!

t Central Park and the reception was at The View. The weather wasn't going to cooperate and the day before the ceremony, Kevin suggested holding the ceremony at The View just in case. We had to move some things around, but if it wasn't for his professionalism, flexibility, his stay strong attitude and most importantly his sincere feelings on wanting my day to be so special, I really don't know what I would've done or how it was going to turn out. Could I risk everyone getting rained on in Central Park? He said "no, that's not going to happen, we will have the ceremony here and everything will be fantastic!" He was so right, everything was beautiful and my guests still contact me to tell me that my wedding was on of the best weddings they ever attended. Not only is the venue beautiful, the food was absolutely amazing. My vendors even contacted me after the wedding to say what a great time they had at my wedding. Some even ask if I can renew my vows at our 1-year anniversary just so they can experience everything once again at The View. Please check out The View at Battery Park for a first class reception and ask for Kevin and/or Nikki. You won't be sorry. Every detail was perfect and they handled everything that had to change at the last minute with such ease and professionalism. Aside from saying "yes" to marrying my husband, this was the best decision I made regarding my wedding. I have the utmost gratitude and offer my sincerest thanks towards Kevin, Nikki and Alec. Thanks again for all of you for making my day so special and one that not only myself and my husband will fondly remember, but my guests as well. I give this venue and their team 5 GOLD STARS and then some!!

e live in (and met in). From day one, Kevin was an incredible resource: highly responsive, very professional, extremely accommodating, and exceptionally kind. Kevin's MO is to operate his business with warmth, recognizing the importance of people's wedding days, and we felt that throughout the entire wedding planning process. The day of our wedding, Kevin and Nikki handled absolutely everything for us, without us worrying about a thing (even inclement weather, that of course hit right when the ceremony was to start!). Although our ceremony ended up being held inside (we had planned to hold it outside), the ceremony looked stunning from the second floor of the venue, where big glass windows captured the beauty of the stormy skyline and the Statute of Liberty in the background, with beautiful floral arrangements and curtains in the foreground. The whole day feels like a blur, but throughout the experience we felt so well taken care of--as did all of our guests, who raved about the incredible cocktail hour, seated menu, and drinks. We are so glad to have worked with Kevin and Nikki, and we look forward to visiting The View's restaurant many times in the future as old friends.

We got married at The View at Battery Park September 2021. It was a perfect day thanks to Nikki and her team. I started to panic before the wedding that I should have hired my own ...

day of coordinator but there was no need to worry because Nikki had it covered. She was the perfect mix of calming energy but also on top of everything- it allowed me to relax and have fun! She put aside food for us at the cocktail hour and even bustled my dress (which gave my mom relief). I can not compliment her enough! Every (slightly control freak) bride's dream! The venue itself was great as well. We received several compliments on the food, drinks/bar service and of course the beautiful location (the perfect weather and sunset cocktail hour helped!). Food highlights for me were the lobster rolls at cocktail hour and the fact that all the beef tenderloins at dinner were a perfect medium rare. The venue worked with us to be flexible and accommodating which is so important planning a wedding during these times. Highly recommend The View!

lp us pull off our perfect wedding. We were a COVID wedding, which meant rescheduling our original September 2020 date not once, but twice. Every step of the way, our partners at Masterpiece were understanding, accommodating, and supportive. We were frankly surprised at how seamless Nikki and Kevin made the process. Beyond the pandemic, every aspect of our wedding – from the food and drinks to the tables and layout to the service and ambiance – was handled with incredible attention to detail. We had our August wedding at The View, so having multiple indoor and outdoor options was a great benefit. Our guests, even the New York natives, were in awe of the panoramic views, and we lost track of how many people pulled us aside to mention how wonderful all of the food was. Honestly, no duds! Having catering managed in-house with the venue removed one more complexity, which, when you’re planning a wedding, is a huge help. Masterpiece also has great partners (we used their florist and DJ partners) that are equally great. We can’t imagine our wedding without Masterpiece and The View, and we are so happy we don’t have to! Masterpiece Caterers is the epitome of true hospitality.

hroughout the process with so much patience and care. Kevin was extremely generous with his time, meeting with us virtually and in person multiple times to ensure that every detail was accounted for. Kevin also set us up with several vendors that were fantastic! On the day, Nikki was absolutely amazing. She was on top of every single detail - setting the tables perfectly, directing all of the guests, and even calming our niece when she was having a temper tantrum. She made everything run so seamlessly, the day would not have been possible without her. Each member of the staff went above and beyond on the day. The date just so happened to also be during a hurricane, but you would never know there was a storm outside based on how bright and joyous everyone was at the View. We have continued the get comments from guests about how wonderful the whole experience was, and how much they loved the food (and we agree!). The day was better than we ever could have imagined! The View is truly a special place and we cannot wait to go back and visit!

attention they provided from start to finish. Kevin was able to give us the exact date we wanted. We also had a micro wedding in which he allowed us to have a slightly smaller than expected number of guests. Nikki is also absolutely amazing! She was so helpful leading up to and the day of the wedding making sure everything we wanted turned out perfect. I would highly recommend.

nd and I became engaged just as the pandemic was beginning, and Kevin graciously worked with us through all of the different planning challenges and changes that happened, as a result. We were married on the second floor of The View, and our guests had an amazing time looking out at the Statue of Liberty and taking pictures in the nearby park. The dinner was delicious. I would happily order those exact dishes again (the lamb, swordfish, and vegan options were fantastic). They even designed a sober bar especially for us because our wedding was a dry wedding. Nikki and Kevin also both went above and beyond the call of duty to work with our family who came from out of town to celebrate with us, and Nikki even stepped in to help save the day when my makeup was smudged after taking pictures. Kevin at Masterpiece Caterers is my new hero! ...well... other than my husband. Kevin helped us plan and execute the most beautiful and fun wedding we could have ever imagined. His...

attention to detail, responsiveness, creative problem-solving, and craft made our wedding the best ever (bias aside!). Trust in him! He was by our side planning around COVID restrictions, settling our nerves (and guests), and helping us sculpt the most beautiful celebration ever. He has preferred vendors that we also highly recommend working with. DJ Lou Smith is one of them. Go with him! He had our guests dancing like crazy and transitioned through special dances, toasts, speeches, and different entertainment flawlessly throughout the night. As foodies, we had high expectations. The food was amazing. We are still hearing from guests about how amazing the food was. Masterpiece Caterers has you covered--the cocktail station options, passed apps, dinner, passed desserts, cake, and open bar had our guests more than satisfied. Everything went better than we could have expected. Thank you a million times!

My husband and I cannot rave enough about Kevin, Nikki and their team! We were initially to be married at One Hanover in October 2020, however, like many we needed to move the date...

due to Covid. On top of that, we had received some unfortunate health news in the family, forcing us to move the date up. Kevin was extremely flexible – giving us a wedding date for two weeks from our discussion. He was always communicative – making sure we had whatever we needed during the planning process, approachable – making the planning process seamless, and overall just amazing. We didn’t work with Nikki much during the planning process, however, she was on site the entire day and made sure we had an AMAZING day. She constantly checked in with us, recommended anything she thought may have helped the night (which it did), and gave us the most amazing time. The food was just as amazing as all the reviews we’d previously read stated. Our guests raved about it. Considering, I didn’t think a Covid wedding would be enjoyable and I was not excited to be planning again, this was a beyond words of a night. We are so glad we did it and cannot thank Kevin, Nikki or their team more for such an amazing day!

The View at Battery Park just reopened under new ownership just in time for us to move UP our wedding. They were so flexible and accommodating during a really hard time. We had to ...

cancel our old wedding and lost a ton of money and were out of options. I decided to inquire and even when we gave them a hard time about small stuff they were always so flexible, approachable and helped us make this day happen in a way that it was easier. It was as perfect as it could be given the hard times during a pandemic. They were open and honest with us, and even that day Nikki always made sure I, the bride, was feeling great (which is super awesome, the day is so overwhelming and I planned essentially two weddings and one of them was in a couple of months!) I can compliment the food enough, the guests were RAVING about it, even the cake was freaking fantastic (we didn't save our top, haha we ate it that weekend!) Everything came together so nicely with little mistakes but it was as perfect a day that it could be thanks to the people at masterpiece caterers, and bless them all for dealing with couples during this time, and all of my personal shenanigans and worries. The venue upstairs is absolutely GORGEOUS. I wish I planned my original wedding here! The ceremony was on the promenade and it was amazing. Cocktail was also outside under a tent with perfect ambiance. Everything was perfect and this venue is so generous and knows how to run a wedding, Nikki went beyond to help set up and clean up and again helped (and dealt) with me on the big day! Even when we ran super late and guests were late the venue just worked with us and just made sure we had time and were calm. Just so amazing. I was so stressed out as a bride and perfectionist and honestly the day had small things wrong out of my control but by the time we got to the ceremony and everything thereafter run by masterpiece it all came together and me and my husband were just so relaxed haha!

g us change to The View for an outside venue. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. They put us at ease and literally took care of everything for us. We were able to have our wedding, follow all of the current rules in place and still have an amazing time. Our guests raved about the food and service as well! We can’t thank Kevin and Nikki enough for helping us have the celebration of a lifetime!

equests (yes, we had a pirate-themed signature drink). Maitre D' Eddie and all the staff were so nice and accommodating! We received so many compliments on the views and the food, which people couldn't stop talking about. Battery Gardens is a restaurant and an event space, so the food is exceptional! It is a breathtaking venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, and very affordable for the food and space you're getting -- through our wedding planning process, we found it to be the best value among Manhattan venues. We hope to host events there in the future!

ts. Battery Gardens had it all! We got married in the Harbor Room with the most incredible sunset and the statue of liberty as our background. Our friends and family are still raving about the spectacular views in addition to the amazing food and service. Donna was our coordinator and she was AMAZING. Having her at Battery Gardens allowed me to save money on a day of coordinator because she was so extremely helpful. Throughout the entire planning process she was attentive to all of my questions and needs. On the day of, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail went exactly as discussed. Thank you to Donna and the Battery Gardens team for helping us have the most magical wedding day!

We had a wonderful experience at Battery Gardens. From the first contact, Alex was communicative, kind, helpful, and flexible. They are surprisingly affordable for NYC (especially ...

on the water), the location is fantastic, the food is delicious, and overall we couldn't have found a more perfect venue for our wedding. Rather than a sit down dinner we had a cocktail party with 160 people and it worked out beautifully. All of our guests gushed about the views and food. I am a professional event planner and I give Battery Gardens my highest recommendation.

We could not have been happier with our wedding at Battery Gardens!!! Our senior catering manager, Michele, and the entire staff were incredible throughout the whole process. Sin...

ce Battery Gardens is a restaurant, we really liked the fact that we could have a meal there before we selected it as our venue. The restaurant manager was even kind enough to bring us some additional desserts to try. We also loved the view of the Statue of Liberty and Battery Park. Throughout the entire planning process, Michele was amazing! She was very quick to answer any questions that we had, has excellent relationships with many of the vendors and even suggested some to us, and fully handled any special requests that we had regarding our guests allergies. She took perfect notes during both the tasting and the planning process and really made sure that everything went off without a hitch on our wedding night. She had also worked with our day-of coordinator before which helped make this a flawless evening. The wedding package that they offer is very flexible, offering many different options for both the plated meal and the stations. The food at the wedding was exceptional. Our guests still rave about the fabulous wedding that we had at Battery Gardens. Battery Gardens really gives you a top-tier experience for a reasonable price.

All I wanted was a NYC wedding. And I can’t believe Battery Gardens exists for a couple of average means to be able to afford. The views, the food, the service - all incredible. We...

worked with Merita and she was there to answer every question and was amazing to work with. If you also dream of having an outdoor wedding, without the stress of planning for rain, then book here. It rained on our wedding day, but Battery Gardens made sure our day was still perfect. The intimate ceremony that was meant to be in the park outside at sunset was in their floor to ceiling window harbor room overlooking the Statue of Liberty. We were able to make this change day of, with no stress of getting tents. Our guests loved it all, from the food to the views to the space. Battery Gardens really made our day perfect.

We live in Battery Park City, so we have always known about Battery Gardens, and it was one of the first places we considered when starting the conversation about planning our wedd...

ing. We worked with Alex Miljkovic, and I think within the first meeting with him, no other venue would compare, mostly because we were impressed with him. He was professional, organized, knowledgeable, and considerate of the feelings of everyone involved. He outlined the perfect day of us within meeting - and followed through on that and more on the day of the event. Battery Gardens is the perfect venue for a couple looking for the classic New York City feel. We had the first floor for cocktail hour, with passed appetizers and stationed appetizers, and indoor and outdoor seating. We moved upstairs for the reception, set up as you would expect a traditional wedding, except Battery Gardens also has balconies that overlook the Statue of Liberty and into actual gardens of Battery Park. Our guests are raving about the food, which included Chilean Sea Bass and Filet Mignon. There were many things that came up along the way that we said "we need to ask Alex!" thinking things might not work or he wouldn't like them, but each time I reached out to Alex he responded promptly ensuring for me that he could help deliver on our vision. He really made us feel that we were the most important couple he was working with, and this day was equally as important to him as it was to us. When he sent the final contract over, I was surprised to see in the "comments" section, notes from everything he and I had talked about over the months leading up to the wedding. All of these notes were conveyed to the wait staff at the reception. My dad told me he has never felt more important than Battery Gardens treated him on the wedding day. If you are looking for a New York City wedding, I can't imagine a better place to have it.

y 1. She was very detail oriented, quick to respond, and helped provide us with a lot of guidance along the way (including scheduling, vendors, food choices, decor, etc)! The tasting was amazing, we got to try so much of the menu, and felt very pampered. The day of the wedding the staff at Battery Gardens handled everything better than we could have ever imagined. We had our cocktail hour on the first floor of the venue in the indoor space as well as the outdoor patio, and the reception was on the second floor. The food is incredible, the space is such a unique NYC venue and overlooks the water with huge windows all around the perimeter of the room, and the staff executed everything without a hitch! The staff was very attentive, asking myself, my husband, and our families if we needed anything throughout the day, and gave great service to our guests! Our guests can't stop raving about how amazing the space was, how wonderful the food was, and how detail oriented the venue was. I honestly cannot recommend Battery Gardens enough for your wedding! Thank you to the amazing staff there that made our wedding day the best day ever!

Battery Gardens was the most amazing venue for my wedding. From my first meeting with Donna to the last dance it was perfection. The space is gorgeous with views overlooking the ...

water and the Statue of Liberty. I was lucky to have beautiful weather so our cocktail party was able to be outside and inside and during our dinner upstairs the outside terrace was a huge hit. Donna was extremely professional and knowledgable. She knew every question to ask, no detail was left unturned. Our tasting was amazing and anything we needed she took care of. She is very flexible with what we wanted yet also knew what works and doesn't work in the venue so we weren't "right" in all cases. I would highly recommend this space as well as working with her. The event itself was flawless. All the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and very good. We had some items we needed to ship directly there and they let us do that two days prior. We did a drop off of all of our "stuff" on the Friday before which was so helpful not to have to worry about it on Saturday. All in all, the guests had an amazing time and so did we. Thank you Donna and Battery Gardens for an unforgettable evening.
