My wife and I had our wedding here and everything went smoothly. It is a beautiful venue and the staff is very accommodating.

The Baughman center was a beautiful venue for us. Booking it and communicating with the Baughman staff was simple and easy. We didn’t even have to set up any decorations as it was the best looking venue we found. There was some confusion leading up to our wedding though. We wanted to come the day before our wedding to check out the venue and the staff assured us that it would be unavailable but when we showed up there was a wedding going on. With that being said, we had unforgettable time and would highly recommend it!

The Baughman Center was a beautiful venue to host our wedding ceremony. The venue is absolutely stunning and stands alone without the need for decor. The staff was very easy to work with and made communication and planning easy even though I was planning the event from a different city. The venue is very affordable and makes for a beautiful spot to host an intimate wedding ceremony.

The Baughman Center was the perfect venue for our religious wedding. It's the perfect setting for an elegant, classy wedding. The building is stunning both inside and outside. All our guests loved the venue as well. The staff was very professional and helpful throughout the process. We highly recommend the Baughman Center!

We were so happy that we were able to have our wedding ceremony at the Baughman. With the pandemic, we weren't sure if we'd be able to, but it ended up working out. All our guests wore masks (they turned out to be good party favors!) and spaced themselves out. Zakiya was great and very helpful as we went through all of this. The building was beautiful and we got lots of great photos. It was also very reasonably priced if you're on a budget. I would definitely recommend it!

The baughman center was the best venue we could have ever chose. It was breathtakingly beautiful and made all of our guest happy that they drove the distance to come see such an amazing place. The staff was extremely responsive and very helpful throughout the entire process. I am beyond thankful that I chose the baughman center for my wedding. It was incredible and just perfect inside and out! The best venue for your ceremony in Gainesville FL hands down!

I had my wedding ceremony here in January. My overall experience working with Baughman staff and using their venue was very pleasant, and I am glad that I used their venue for my special day. The chapel itself is gorgeous, and makes for great interior and exterior photos. The ramp to get to the altar area is a bit odd (it wraps around from one side to the other), but this also offers some interesting photo opportunities. The chapel has its own piano in the back that resonates beautifully. The Baughman staff provided a list of preferred musicians that was very helpful for planning. I will note that the Baughman relies mostly on its natural acoustics to project sound throughout the chapel. Guests have no trouble hearing everything from the altar, but bridal party members within the altar space (especially if they are situated behind the couple) may have some difficulty hearing the officiant/bride/groom if they don't project.

Honestly completely and utterly amazing! Wedding went wonderful and smooth everything was an easy set up and go and staff was really helpful and easy going. The location is so beautiful and I felted welcomed on the day. It was such an easy process and also Zaykia was very helpful and gave me a thank you kote HANDWRITTEN! Which meant a lot and will be in my wedding album. This venue will definitely make your day sparkle.

We absolutely loved having our ceremony at the Baughman Center! It is just beautiful! The staff were very attentive to our needs both in the planning stages and on the day of the wedding! Would highly recommend for an inside wedding venue for groups under 100 people!

The Baughman Center is absolutely GORGEOUS. Staff is helpful but nothing exceptional. For music you need an old school plug (Doesn't work with the new iphones) into a keyboard which emits surprisingly good quality sound. My #1 tip? Keep decor to a minimum and let the windows do the talking

Our wedding guests cannot stop commenting about how perfect and beautiful the Baughman Center was for our ceremony! Basically, they learned what we already knew about this awesome place. Working with Zakiya and team leading up to the big day was super simple and they were always ready to help us however they could. They're even the ones who recommended the pianist we used (who was also awesome). As a same-sex couple, we struggled mightily before the wedding to find reviews of venues from other same-sex couples, so I also want to take a moment to say how this fact didn't even faze them one bit. Ever. The Baughman Center team was awesome from start to finish, and I can't recommend them and this venue highly enough.

My husband and I both attended college at the University of Florida, so of course we ended up getting married on campus! The Baughman Center is absolutely beautiful and was a great backdrop for our wedding photos! We would have loved to have been able to take a couple wedding photos right outside as well, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate (but our wedding was in the middle of the summer, so the rain was not really a surprise!). Zakiya worked closely with us to ensure that we had exactly what we needed for our wedding ceremony!

The environment is very clean , bright and beautiful. everything was settle done on time, we finally done our dreamy wedding ceremony to share our joy.

My husband and I got married at the Baughman Center last week, and it couldn't have gone any better. The acoustics and ambiance of the Baughman Center were perfect for our smaller sized wedding, and made for great photos, both inside the church, and around the vicinity. The Center has an electric piano for use (we hired an excellent piano player, Eric Redmond, to play at our ceremony) which made the ceremony extra special. My husband and I are both extremely happy with how well the Baughman Center fulfilled our wedding day.

Could not imagine getting married at another venue in Gainesville. We met at UF and so felt appropriate to also get married in the swamp. This venue highlights the picturesque views that Gainesville offers. It was an easy event to plan and coordinate and it's so inexpensive in comparison to other places around. Cannot wait to see how our gorgeous pictures turn out!!

The Baughman Center is breathtaking. My husband and I just got married there on January 6th, 2018 and are so in love with this venue. We met in Gainesville at The University of Florida and fell in love with the Baughman Center. When it was time to plan our wedding, there was no better place than here. Zakiya and her staff were amazing and made it very easy to plan our wedding remotely!

Picture perfect venue to have our wedding ceremony at! Once we got engaged, we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. The architecture is so stunning and it looks like a fairytale inside. When the sun shines in the building over the lake, it looks magical. We visited several times before our wedding to look at the layout and decide how to walk up the stage. It worked out perfectly that they have a digital piano inside so our pianist could use that during the ceremony. Everyone that helped us throughout the planning process was great. Brianna was an absolute pleasure to work with – so helpful, answered all of our questions and gave us great tips for our ceremony. We felt comfortable planning our whole wedding ourselves but needed someone to help direct the bridal party for the entrances for the ceremony (without the added cost of hiring a day of coordinator). Brianna arranged to have student volunteers assist during our wedding rehearsal and for the day of the ceremony. This was a lifesaver and saved us hundreds (or thousands) of dollars. The student volunteers were amazing and so professional. It seemed like they had a lot of experience doing this previously, it really showed! Brianna also made sure that extra items we wanted for the ceremony (cocktail table and folding chairs) were setup inside. Everyone truly made it a wonderful and stress free experience. All of our guests commented that we chose such a beautiful venue for our ceremony. All of our pictures from the day look so dreamy!

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with this building and immediately knew it had to be our wedding venue. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful throughout the entire process. This booking was probably one of the easiest decisions and contracts of the entire wedding planning process. Everything was as planned and expected and the staff was accommodating and helpful through timing and information.

I cannot say enough good things about the Baughman Center. It is an absolutely stunning chapel and is surrounded by amazing scenery. My guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous it was. The staff was also great to work with and responded very quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Great price as well.

My husband and I met at the University of Florida as undergraduates and stayed for graduate school and we just knew we wanted to get married here! The office staff members were accommodating, and the price was well worth it. Unfortunately, there was torrential rain that lasted over an hour right during my time block which made our ceremony start half an hour late and therefore gave us less time for portraits afterward so the staff was very polite and understanding of the situation. There is no covered walkway and not very good drainage from the office to the chapel so my bridesmaids and I were in foot high puddles of water and had to shuffle under umbrellas. This hopefully will not happen to you but just something to be considerate of if getting married in the Florida rainy season. However, because of the beautiful high windows looking onto the lake, we think we got a good lightning shot. Our guests raved about how beautiful the building was and a few more couples from our friends and family will probably get married there now :)

My husband and I were married here in the middle of October, and we couldn't have been happier. This venue is gorgeous (although if you're having a larger wedding it might not be big enough) and really wowed our guests. The University runs it, so my emails were always responded to quickly, and the employees were totally reasonable and were even willing to do small favors on the big day. I recommend this to anyone planning a small intimate wedding in Florida!

I had an 11 am ceremony here. It was an amazing venue for my ceremony. Perfect lighting through the large windows. Great acoustics. Great customer service from the staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nondenominational chapel.

This is arguably the most beautiful site to get married at in Gainesville. The windows overlook Lake Alice and it is surrounded by greenery. Liz was very helpful and the staff made sure that each cue was hit on time. I received many compliments about how romantic the wedding felt in there. I strongly recommend.

We loved getting married at the Baughman Center. We lucked out and had absolutely perfect weather. The sun was streaming in the floor to ceiling windows and the lake was glistening in the background. We really felt like we were transported to a different world, when in reality we were on the UF campus. If you cannot afford the grand piano like we couldn't, note that the digital piano is really good quality. Our wedding guests were blown away by the beauty of this space and we felt it was perfect for our small 54 person wedding. No regrets at all.

Every Gator who marries their college sweetheart seems to get married here. And can you blame them? It's gorgeous! Having met the hubs in college, we knew this was where we would tie the knot. Our entire wedding date was determined by when the B.C. was available and it was totally worth it. There are limitations on what you can do to it (no flowers - outside of bouquets, no candles - outside of a unity candle) but it really doesn't need any decoration. We did nothing and it was still gorgeous. BOOK SOON! It fills up quickly.

This is a beautiful and affordable setting in Gainesville. It only holds 96 people, so it is perfect for a small, intimate wedding. It can be tricky if it rains on your special day, as there is not much covering.

This is a gorgeous location on a small lake. The location itself is so beautiful, that no decoration or flowers were needed. The staff is helpful and the price is reasonable for such a great location.
