Delivery was on time and everything was intact when it arrived. Our wedding was location was local to the bakery but we live about 2.5 hours away. Any big occasion that we need a cake for…we will be taking a road trip!

(lemon, amaretto, and vanilla cheesecake), and every single one was delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the cakes were! Everything was exactly what we asked for, from the design details to the flavors, and the cakes were delivered right on time and held up perfectly all night long. You can tell how much care and skill goes into their work. We highly recommend Bavarian Cakery to anyone looking for stunning, delicious, and reliable wedding cakes!

our cake exactly what we asked for. We also got the charcuterie board for cocktail hour and it was a huge hit!! Everyone loved it and it was close to empty by the time my husband and I sat down! I would recommend everyone to get not only their wedding cake, but cake for any event from Bavarian Cakery!!

Their cake was so flavorful and moist, multiple of our guests told us that they loved the cake. Funny enough, we barely got to try any on our own wedding day, but I was so curious that we ended up tasting our cake topper before we left for our honeymoon. It was so good and now I can't wait to eat it again in a year! We also purchased a preservation kit from them and it was really detailed and I look forward to seeing how the cake has held up during our one year anniversary!

since we had different favorite flavors as the bride and groom. We did a cake tasting with our families and it was an awesome little experience, everyone had so much fun. We got to try many flavors of cake and icings that were all incredible. We designed a gorgeous cake of white icing with an ombre blue flowing rice paper cascade on the front. They put together the most perfect version of our vision we couldn't help but stop and stare when it arrived.

vors and design. She even made sure we had a small separate dairy free cake available for my stepdad (which was just as tasty as the rest of the cake!) Highly recommend the traditional wedding cake and the german chocolate. The cake came out beautifully and tasted so good!

are wanting churro, I suggest going with a vendor that makes them fresh on the site, it’ll taste way better than cold/stale churros. In the sample box we received mixed berry tarts we received with fresh fruits on top, which was the main reason why we selected it for our day. I’m not sure what happened but on our wedding day, tarts were delivered but they were not the ones we had sampled. The ones that were delivered had no fresh fruits on top and looked completely different than the one we sampled. I did not see the dessert table on my wedding day but recently received my wedding photos, which is why the error was discovered. I reached out to Tara vie email about this. She admitted that she did not note what items were placed in our sample box. She also expressed that because she did not receive a missing piece of the macaron tower display, that the $200 replacement fee was waived and this can an be an “even trade” for their mistake. Tara contacted my coordinator about this missing piece while I was out of the country for my honeymoon. She never contacted me directly regarding this missing piece until I emailed her regarding her baking error. I’m not saying she’s lying but there’s no proof that this piece was missing or if this narrative is used as a cover up. She mentioned in her email that she was surprise to learn of the mistake so late but like mentioned previously, I just got my wedding photos back. There is a lot of moving parts on a wedding day and unfortunately photos are all that one had to recall details. I do not recommend working with someone who forgets what they placed in your sample box, delivers the wrong baked goods for your wedding day, and when you bring it to their attention, they try to manipulate the issue with another issue. The tone of Tara email was passive aggressive. A person is aware when they do something wrong. For a vendor with years of experience to claim that they didn’t pay attention is beyond disappointing. I felt blindsided and did not get what I hoped for. There was no resolution for this error. If I can go back, we would have booked a different vendor that’s detailed oriented, delivered the right items for their clients on the most important day, and had a better plan in place for customer satisfaction. For a high price tag, you’ll expect better execution and service, but that isn’t the case for Bavarian Cakery. 0/10 recommend. restrictions at once. These understandably had to be ordered in one dozen cupcake increments, and despite not having anywhere near 12 people who had these dietary restrictions they must have been tasty because I don’t think we had any left!

anniversary to have another piece 😆.

cake looked incredible. The design on the bride’s cake though was different from what we expected, which could have stemmed from poor communication or confusing instructions on my end – I’ll let you make the call, as I requested the coloring to match my flowers (which they nailed) and "similar to this picture, but just not many watercolor 'spots'". Not all was lost on the bride’s cake, as we were able to turn it around to conceal the design and most importantly, the cakes were still delicious. I truly believe that we’d work with Bavarian Cakery again because of all the reasons I previously mentioned, but had I done it again, I would have just gone with a more simple design on the bride’s cake.
