Baxters American Grille

We had our wedding in Eureka, IL and hired Baxter's for catering both our dinner and our cocktail hour. We worked with Amber and throughout the whole process leading up to our date, was incredibly helpful and responsive in getting everything set up. Baxter's was very accommodating with our tasting, providing many options we wanted to try in order for us to make the best decisions for us and our guests. While we weren't able to partake in the appetizers during the cocktail hour, we heard many glowing reviews from our guests. We had gotten stuffed mushrooms, hummus trio, crabcakes, potstickers, and toasted ravioli. Baxter's was on site to set up with plenty of time and everything went smoothly. Our dinner meal was absolutely delicious and once again we heard great reviews from our guests. We went with a buffet-style and chose the stuffed pork loin, smothered chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. The set up was great and easy to follow, and the food was of course incredible. The Baxter's staff was also great helping with refilling of water for our guests as well as clearing tables. My wife and I would absolutely recommend using Baxter's for your catering if your wedding is in the Central Illinois area.

We had our small wedding and reception their this past weekend and Natalie and her staff were outstanding. She went above and beyond our expectations at every turn. I cannot express how happy we were with our small wedding at Baxters! This fact has become even more obvious while attempting to work with other venues for our larger celebration/reception in St. Louis. Natalie and Ashley went above and beyond; always willing and prepared to answer questions quickly and willing to offer up what they thought would work best in their opinions but always willing to listen and adjust to our liking as well. Their responses were always very timely, often in the same day. We held a small private ceremony on the patio (in the middle of winter) and then a family style sit down dinner reception in the back room. After dinner we opened up the space for a place to mingle with local friends that wanted to drop by for drinks. The food is amazing, everyone was impressed and stuffed! My spouse and I are rather picky and all of our requests were met with understanding and quickly customized to meet our needs. The wait staff the day of our event was the perfect balance of attentive and respectful of our privacy. We wish every venue was as great as Baxters! We came to Baxter's Catering with only two months left until our wedding after struggling with a different caterer. We wanted to do something different and had appetizer stations set up around the reception. We received so many compliments on the food! Natalie and Ashley, the event coordinators were always extremely prepared, willing to answer questions, suggested different ideas, set up personalized tastings, and worked amazingly well with our wedding planner and the venue coordinator so that I didn't have to. The food was amazing and they actually brought a chef out to the venue to prepare the food there. The cost was extremely reasonable and comparable to other catering companies but the quality could not be better. I would highly recommend Baxter's for any event and am extremely happy with our decision.
