ely well and knew exactly how and where everything should go to make it look nice for our guests and for the photographs. She suggested a wildflower theme because we didn’t really have a clue how best to use our budget and use the space, and it ended up being exactly what we had imagined! Very green, a beautiful spring color palette, and perfectly
suited to us as a couple. The table arrangements were beautiful and matched our vibe wonderfully, and the space looked tasteful and effortless. My wife and I did leis instead of bouquets and she made us these gorgeous and simple wildflower wreathlike pieces that looked so pretty. She also made more traditional leaf leis for our dads, and the whole thing looked so nice together.
We also wanted to do a bouquet bar, to give our guests the chance to take home some flowers and have it be a fun favor that you don’t have to keep forever. She really went above and beyond here - the bouquet bar was SO cute, the little flower holders were amazing, and everyone was so impressed with this station! The kids especially had a great time making bouquets and that’s exactly what we were hoping for.
Julia is easy to talk to and understood right away the vibe of our wedding, which was relaxed, nontraditional, and a show of appreciation for all our guests, friends and family. We were planning remotely and didn’t really have a clue how things would look in the space, but she was completely on top of it. All evening, everything just appeared where we wanted it to as if by magic, and we didn’t have to do anything or worry about anything the whole time. I hope she had a nice time at the wedding too! uded a Hindu ceremony with a Mandap, Catholic ceremony in a church and outdoor reception. Julia was wonderful at guiding us through what was possible and determining what would work best for our events, both stylistically and logistically. She was very flexible, suggesting various changes to adjust to a specific budget and willing to help us with a couple of last minute requests. She had a team with her on the day of our wedding that seamlessly set up/broke down florals and even saved florals to use on both days of our wedding. And the florals were all so beautiful - our mandap was perfectly simple but whimsical with beautiful aisle decor and centerpieces, the bouquets/aisle decor at our Catholic ceremony were elegant and unique, and our reception decor made it feel like a fairytale. We cannot recommend Julia and Bay Field Florals enough!

From the initial planning phases through to the end execution, she was always positive, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I am so glad I could work with her because she took concerted effort from the beginning to ensure she understood my needs/interests/dislikes. Therefore, towards the end when there were too many decisions to be made I knew I could trust her to make any creative decisions as needed without my input. She provided helpful feedback during the on site walk through that helped both of us better visualize what would and would not be necessary. She was always transparent about the costs, was mindful of the budget provided to her, and provided honest feedback if she thought items were (or were not) worth the cost! I am truly grateful that I was able to work with someone as genuine and skilled as Julia, I underestimated the impact florals make on an event space and she executed it perfectly.

Although I live in California, my wedding took place in France. Throughout the whole process Julia communicated with foreign vendors to find the perfect flowers local to the region. My vision was wildflowers/whimsical, but Julia was able to create something polished that worked well for a wedding.
