We couldn't recommend The Bay Kings Band more. They were so good. and we had so many compliments. We had a rainy reception and they kept the energy and guest morale HIGH!! We lost a few people, but I was shocked how many people stayed and partied all night with us and we think it was because Bay Kings were so good!! Thank you for making our daughter's wedding SO MUCH FUN!!!

e extremely thorough and communicative leading up to the big day, and all of our AV equipment on the wedding day, from the lapel mic for our officiant to the handhelds for vows and toasts worked perfectly. The musicians themselves were phenomenal — we booked a string duo for ceremony music, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour, and a six-piece band for the reception. Everyone absolutely crushed it, and our guests filled the dance floor the entire night. When we look back on our wedding, we keep raving about how amazing the band was. If you have an opportunity to book with Bay Kings, we highly recommend it.

ination wedding for us. We had 2 musicians play during our ceremony, and rented the microphones and sound equipment through them; as well as a full band for our reception. Each and every musician was SO talented!! You could tell they were having the most fun and their energy was contagious - I felt like I was at a concert! At the end of the night I wanted to hug them all because they truly made our wedding so fun and special. I am so thankful we worked with them for our wedding band and would recommend them to anyone!

e reception, jazz trio for cocktail hour, and an acoustic duo for our ceremony. All the performers were fantastic, talented, and very professional! During the planning phase, the online dashboard kept everything organized with timelines and our special requests. This goes straight to the band a few days before the wedding so everyone is on the same page. Our event manager Alex was super helpful through the whole process, including providing suggestions and reviewing our special songs that the band could play live. They handled the MC duties traditionally done by a DJ flawlessly. Even our wedding planner said she always recommends DJs, but the Bay Kings Band is the only exception to that rule. They are that good! The Bay Kings Band turned our wedding into a party, and was the best decision we made!

As for their performance at the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, they knocked it out of the park! BKB kept the party alive and so fun that we extended them an hour to keep the fun going! Since our wedding, two things have happened:
1) We’ve received multiple compliments about how the band was able to keep everyone on the dance floor ALL night and
2) we’re trying to find an event or party we can have the Bay Kings Band come play for us again!

After our wedding, everyone commented on how great the band was. Not only did they play fantastic music that set the mood for our special celebration, but they were also flexible. At the very end of the night, my husband wanted a very particular song sung well after the schedule band playing time had ended. We asked the band to play the song, and no questions asked, they happily played it for us. Thank you Bay Kings Band for making that special impromptu moment happen, and for helping make our wedding reception a true celebration!

of all of my personal requests for my special touches to make my day unique to myself and my groom. The one on one phone call the week before to reveal details definitely put my nerves at ease about the event. While the whole day was a blur and there were many things that did not go as planned, I got nothing but great feedback from my guests! Since we lost a lot of time moving our reception indoors, I was very thankful that they powered through and played a nice long set without a break to ensure we still had a good time. I would highly recommend them! Visit one showcase and I'm sure you'll be as sold as I was.... I went two more times before my wedding just to watch for fun!

There were several mistakes during my wedding reception with this band. First off, they butchered my first dance. I payed for a custom mash up of two songs for my first dance, and ...
the band didn't play it (they claimed issues downloading the file) which means they did not pre-play it in preparation for the first dance. There was also MAJOR crackling during all speeches during the reception on the sound system - which they set up. Additionally, when I wanted the music to shift gears into more dance music, the head of the band said they had to follow the music plan that was already set aka they couldn't just shift gears. I ended up asking the band to stop playing and to play off Spotify, which in my opinion is not worth what I ended up paying. Alex, the band manager was responsive and open to discussing my frustrations regarding the situation after the fact which I do appreciate. However, overall I was not satisfied with the execution of this band and it negatively impacted the beginning of the reception portion of my wedding.

the wedding. They were very good about playing upbeat songs to keep everyone on the dance floor! Very high energy and very talented musicians. They were worth every penny! Also, the process was very easy, as I was able to update and change information on the "band planning page" during my whole engagement. One week before the actual event, Alex and I spoke on the phone to confirm all details. They were very professional and prompt. You need to book this band!!

ur event for a whole six hours! Our wedding day was blessed with the best live music anyone can ask for. These band is talented, fun, reliable, and very professional. They stepped up without asking and helped coordinate the wedding, which had needed some help. Before the wedding they're communication was prompt and professional. They give you a site for your event and you get to fill in all the details to a T. They learned a song for my dad and I and third rendition is my favorite yet, by far! Can't say enough about this group. I loved them and they made my wedding . We danced a lot! The whole time! The dance floor was never empty.
