We got too many compliments on the band and dance floor to count, and our dance floor was PACKED all night. Brandon and the team were so kind and easy to work with through the entire process, and all of the emceeing and audio aspects of the day went off without a hitch. They played a variety of music we loved from Motown & classics to bands from our youth like Green Day and Third Eye Blind. They read the crowd perfectly and played hit after hit, to the point that we were like "can you please just play ONE bad song so I can sit down for 30 seconds" haha.

picking up the pieces that had been semi-started. Lucky for me the Bay Kings Band had already been contacted about our date and details. From there I was able to jump in seamlessly to the contracting and logistical pieces, thanks to Brandon's patience and expertise, guiding me along the way. I had never booked live music before, so his ability to answer any and ALL of my questions (very timely too) was amazing and made me feel super confident going into the experience.
And then I cannot say enough incredible things about the band itself!! We booked a cocktail hour trio which set the mood perfectly with some jazz music for our roaring 20's themed event. Then the full band greeted guests with some swinging tunes as they entered the main ballroom for dinner. Then they took us home with fun, celebratory, and fan-favorite songs to end the night! The whole evening was magical and seamless.
This event timeline was so efficient because we had a chance to lay out all expectations through their online portal (very user friendly) followed up with a phone call to iron out any remaining TBDs. Run-of-show was super smooth because of this thoughtful planning.
Finally, I had a chance to talk to some of the artists in the green room at one point during the night and everyone was so kind and supportive. If only I was having a Tampa-based wedding next year, Bay Kings Band would absolutely be the group I'd book!! I hope to work with you all again on some future project :)

and we have ZERO regrets. They were AMAZING! From the minute we booked them, their team was proactive with communication and they offer an amazing portal where you can easily communicate all the nitty gritty details of your wedding day timeline. Our guests are still raving about how GOOD the music was, I seriously think it was the best wedding band I have ever experience. The band was also very professional, they all wore formal wear and looked amazing on stage. They also accommodated some last minute requests from us with zero issues. I really cannot say enough great things about Bay Kings band, hire them to play at your wedding/event. You will not regret it! They were one of the most special parts of our wedding day.

My dad had passed a year and a half before we got married and I wanted to honor him through mus...
ic — Bay Kings did him justice in so many ways learning killer songs, playing amazing renditions and got the party going as soon as we were able to get onto the dance floor.
My sister, who claimed she was shy, was adamant that dad would have wanted us to sing with the band and sing with the band we did for one song. They were so fun and each one of the band members vibed with our guests — getting even wallflowers out of their seats onto the floor.
My husband is a drummer and was blown away at the sheer talent of the band (even thought we had been lucky enough to see them at a few other events). And with weeks following the wedding, our guests continued to ask, "What was the name of the band," or "Where can we see them play?" I wish they played non-private events because I would be a groupie in a heartbeat.
Thank you Bay Kings Band for making everything and more possible for us on this special day.

As I learned through planning a wedding, people who work in the wedding/events business can be a little unresponsive at times, but Jenny was the most responsive and attentive contact we worked with. She was amazing. Bay Kings Band also had a pretty decent website that is used during the planning phase. It had a surprisingly user friendly interface. This, plus working with Jenny, made hiring a live band much less daunting. As for the actual band, they were nothing short of top notch. Jenny and Michael crushed it as lead singers. The guitarist, keyboardist, bassist, and drummer were all stellar. The trumpet and saxophone players were elite. I used to play trombone, so I know at least a little about horn sections. They had excellent tone, were playing frequently, and were improvising when they could. They were true professionals. The whole band just had a really nice sound and balance. The group was made up of high level musicians, and you could hear it through their sound. If you are on the fence about hiring a live band over a DJ because of the cost, I am here to tell you its worth it. Ditch the cake, go cheap on the flowers, and hire this band!

These guys are what people will remember, not decorations or dresses or all the small details. We had the 9-piece band which was incredible with the selection of horns/brass to complement the other musicians. They are certainly a premium product, and I highly recommend them! If I had to plan my wedding over again, I would pick them 100 times out of 100.

d they kept saying "this band is killing it"! First of all, the planning process was so easy with Brandon - he was so nice, professional, and has a ton of experience. Besides saying our vows - the dancing was the best part of the wedding. They played everything we wanted them to and kept the party going. I missed all my sweets & late night snacks because I wouldn't get off the dance floor. Lastly, the price - you can't beat the price. Originally we we were thinking of doing a DJ because we didn't think we could afford a band but we decided it was important and it was the best money spent. We did a 6 piece band and I was worried it wouldn't be enough but they sounded amazing! I truly believe a band makes the event and do everything possible to book one and make it happen, you won't regret it!!

and Austin (sax). For our ceremony, we had acoustic guitar music performed by Will. It was absolutely beautiful!! After the ceremony, when we were pulled back for pictures, ZZ and Joe (keys) were performing on the venue's piano. It made the post ceremony pictures so much fun and our guests loved it during the cocktail hour as well! We ended up with a 7-piece band for the reception and they completely lit up the room. We cannot thank ZZ, Austin, Will, Joe, Corey (male vocals), Tito (bass) and Albert (drums) enough for making this day so very special and keeping it special into the night! We want to give extra special thanks to ZZ. She completely set the mood for the reception and kept the party going. And the performance of our first dance song was nothing short of magical! ZZ and the rest of the band performed a version of Say It (Over And Over Again) by Karrin Allyson. It left us with goosebumps throughout the dance. We cannot recommend the Bay Kings Band enough. They are sure to make your wedding as memorable as our will be for the rest of our lives!

In the planning process, they were professional and timely, and extremely accommodating. They kept in mind one of my favorite bands, and as they learned more music for other events by the band, they reached out to us to offer to include the song for our event. They’re extremely talented musicians, and were a great value for their impeccable performance. I would highly recommend Bay Kings to any couple that is looking for a live band to play their wedding!!

I couldn’t believe they perfected our song in a short 2 week span. Just wow! They are the most talented group of 8 musicians who NAILED it. Honestly, I’m just upset we didn’t have the time to sit there & enjoy it like the rest of our guests – haha! Tori just GETS IT! We requested top hits from every decade from the 70’s to what’s playing today, and by mentioning our favorite artists, they looped in songs that brought us so much joy. I have ever been to! I really had no words, they exceeded every single expectation I had. They allowed me to customize all parts of my night and made sure that I was happy. My first dance song with my husband they specifically learned for us, and made it beyond special. Tori is an amazing coordinator of events and her voice is amazing. Really just well done, it was the party of the year thanks to Bay Kings Band. Would 1000% book them for future events and recommend to others. They were professional, dressed the part and over all just showed out in every way. Thank you so much for dealing with our families of crazy New Yorkers with very specific requests. the band was! Brandon was very easy to work with and responded to all of our questions timely. We gave them an idea of the music we liked & wanted to hear at the wedding and the band crushed the set list. Bay Kings played our first dance song and it was so special to hear it "live". The band also played our family anthem (Callin Baton Rouge) 3 times in a row at the end of the night😆 Brandon also did an excellent job MCing the wedding! He announced the late night snacks, first dances, last call and set up a happy birthday sing a long. I highly recommend Bay Kings Band for your event!!

able the band was. The dance floor was PACKED for the entirety of our 5 hour reception and people were having the time of their lives belting out every song with the band. The songs were upbeat, fun and timed perfectly based on whatever the crowd was feeling! Every member of the Bay Kings Band was so kind and accommodating. The band allowed two members of our wedding party to sing/play our first song, which we were so thankful for. The Bay Kings Band is a MUST book!

for. The music was amazing, I don’t think I stopped dancing all night! They did an amazing original version for my first dance song and it was just gorgeous. They listened to what I wanted to be played, and were amazing about not playing the music I don’t like. I would recommend this band to for any event!!

This band is by far the BEST in Tampa Bay and possibly FL, as well as the USA. They literally saved a wedding this weekend for collapsing when another band called to cancel 5 hours...
before showtime. Helped the bride and groom out and literally were the saving grace and good time-making machine that everyone needed to ring in the newlyweds. We cannot say enough good things about their customer service, their upbeat sound and attention to detail, and true passion for their jobs. Don’t look any farther, you found the band you want.

I interviewed every band that was available for my daughter’s wedding this summer, and Bay Kings was the best hands down.
We disc...
ussed with Tori, the band manager/producer, the vision we had for the night, we wanted a fun, high energy night with everyone on the dance floor, everyone. Bay Kings came through 100%.
We worked with the band to select the songs, but gave them the creative liberty to gauge the music with our guests to make sure everyone danced, danced, danced. I can attest my feet were sore by the end of the night and I was wearing slippers!
Tori as a true a joy to work with. From our initial interview phone call, each follow up call and email to answer questions, and through the contracting process, she never missed a beat. She helped us make sure that we had the right band for us. We decided on the 8 piece band with MC services. We also had a sax player for our cocktail hour, which provided the perfect backdrop to start the evening.
Our female vocalist … wow … she had a voice that would not quit. Don’t get me wrong the male vocalist was superb as well, but she killed it.
Hire Bay Kings, you will not regret it.
