Day of timeline was stressful considering we could not access the reception space until 1pm. With open picture time from 12-2pm, we felt rushed to have everything set up before guests started to arrive. Although booking cottages was difficult to manage, our guests loved having a place to stay just walking distance from the reception. Overall, we were very happy with the venue and could not have imagined our special day anywhere else!

Megan even jumped in to help my 95 year old mom navigate the buffet. Our daughter and her new husband have repeatedly called it “the best day of their lives”! Highly recommend!

I have seen many pictures from other couples, but there was nothing quite like seeing the space come to life with your own vision. Having the cottages on the property was one of the main reasons why we booked with Bay Pointe. Since some of the other weddings did not book their cottages and hotel rooms, we were able to accommodate for over 70 people to stay on the property. I can't wait enough good things about Bay Pointe and my experience during my wedding weekend!

The Boat House villa was perfect for getting ready and hosting out of town guests, the Woods provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and reception and most of all hats off to Liz and the other coordinators. To say they were on top of their game would be an understatement, with a direct text line for anything we needed, making sure the bride and groom had drinks all night and answering any and all questions we had I cannot say enough good things about them and the entire BPI team. My friends and family are already asking if we can plan a 5 year anniversary party there because they all loved it so much. They are true professionals and leave no detail unattended. THANK YOU to everyone at BPI for making it the most amazing weekend ever!

to our day, and the staff (and our vendors) the day of were excellent and took care of everything! It was so nice to be able relax while getting ready and not have to worry about anything. Rehearsal was also great! They have day of coordinators provided for you (that do everything except setup your own decor that your bring in) and they were so helpful in going over everything and assuring us it would go as planned. We had a Thursday rehearsal (Friday wedding) so nothing else was going on that evening afterwards. Our bridal party and family were able to hangout outside around the fire pits, and they let us bring in our own drinks and pizza (ordered from Lakeside Pizzeria right down the road on Gun lake, definitely recommend) which was super nice and saved us some money! We set up yard games and some extra lawn chairs right outside our cottage, and had a great and laid back rehearsal which is what we wanted! The Woods location itself is beautiful, and the cottages being right on site was a huge plus! Our bridal party and family all stayed the night before and the night of. The rooms were super nice, spacious, clean, and updated. The ceremony spot is absolutely gorgeous, and the reception area was incredible. We loved how the reception venue had a wrap around sidewalk and that guests were able to mingle inside/outside during cocktail hour and the reception. Food was also incredible! We had the prime rib, chicken chardonnay, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All amazing! Late snacks and appetizers were also delicious. Overall would 10/10 recommend. It couldn’t have gone better, and it was so great to see all of our family and friends also have a great time.

Bay Point offers, but we went with the Woods because we were planning on having a fall wedding. We couldn’t get over how beautiful everything was- from the cottages, to the grounds and everything in between. Having a late September wedding, we were initially concerned that things wouldn’t still be blooming but we were very pleasantly surprised with how much variety of beautiful landscaping they had. We had two photographers and took a lot of photos, and in every single picture, the property is just gorgeous. There wasn’t a bad place to take a photo on the whole property! You can tell they take pride in making sure everything is exactly how you want it. All of the staff was professional, kind and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I can’t say enough good things, I highly recommend Bay Pointe to anyone looking for the most beautiful venue!

The location is beautiful and the resort staff has perfected the art of putting on a great wedding. A huge perk of choosing Bay Pointe in my opinion is that the catering, bar/bartenders, and A LOT of the wedding essentials like chairs, tables, table clothes, etc are handled/provided directly by Bay Pointe. It’s so helpful to have a venue that is so inclusive so I don’t have work with a hundred other vendors! We highly recommend trusting Bay Pointe with your big day!

asking a ton of questions and they really made sure I got everything I wanted from a venue. The entire place was clean, organized and beautiful! It was so easy to have a beautiful day and I didn’t have to decorate a ton because the place is just so naturally beautiful! My day of coordinator Nat was INCREDIBLE! Nat kept us right on time, he kept my large wedding party organized and he made sure we got everything we wanted! If I could do it all again, I would choose Bay Pointe every time!

It's so easy for little things to get missed or overlooked on my end, but nothing went past her without her addressing every last little detail. I can't say enough good things about her! Nathan was the day-of coordinator....it was clear how invested and dedicated he was to making sure everything went smoothly. He was sooo sweet, and SO attentive to any last minute request and made sure our needs were met. He really knows what he's doing, it's so evident in the way he conducts himself so professionally. He was incredible!!! If it's not already obvious from all of the photos... Everything is so beautiful... the cottages are spacious and so modern, it was perfect for getting ready photos and plenty of room to dance around and drink mimosas all morning ;) The venue is obviously gorgeous on its own, which makes decorating a breeze... you don't need much! We had our ceremony outside which has evergreen trees and a tall arbor which makes for the perfect setting for photos. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding: between the staff, cottages / lodging accommodations, food (we went for the Tuscan buffet and I'm serious... it was good!!! I've worked a lot of banquets with my previous job and the food was always "meh" but this was actually really good!), and the area (right off Gun Lake, near the casino and golf courses) you will not regret a single thing. You get to just show up and have a good time! Your guests will rave about it too!!!

They were extremely responsive and willing to ensure that our day was everything that we could hope for, and then some. For the few details that Bay Pointe didn't address on site (flowers, DJ and cake), they had a list of preferred vendors for us to choose from, which was extremely helpful considering that we weren't from the area. The day before our wedding at the rehearsal, we were introduced to our venue coordinator, Jessica. She was extremely helpful at the rehearsal, and we were able to witness her dedication firsthand when we saw her sprinting between weddings later that day in an absolute downpour. Fortunately, the weather on our wedding day was perfect, and Jessica was still there answering every question, ensuring everything went smoothly, and even offering the most kind words of encouragement throughout the day. The small personal touches that Bay Pointe provided throughout our experience with them made all of the difference in the world. If you are looking for a stress-free and beautiful wedding day experience, look no further than Bay Pointe. They are hands down the best at what they do.

super helpful during the entire planning process. Kortney was our day of coordinator and she made everything run perfectly! Our guests raved about the food- especially the mashed potatoes! We had a lot of out of town guests and they loved staying in the cottages as they were so close to the venue. It was so nice to have both indoor and outdoor space with the covered porch, and the fire pit was a big hit! Would definitely recommend!

I reached out scheduled a venue tour for June 2020. My dad, a bridesmaid, and I met with Mariesa C., the Catering Sales Manager - she was ever so pleasant! We toured, signed contracts and set a final date into place. We choose and were thankfully able to keep April 9th, 2021 as our date! This is where the ever so amazing, patient, and awesome Juno H. comes into play. She was our Catering Event Manager up until the rehearsal dinner. When I tell you I bombarded her email... I am not even playing around! Juno was SO responsive and truly made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She always reassured me and kept updating me frequently on guidelines and restriction changes. We were able to meet with her in November for a food tasting to select and finalize our meal for the day of! When I tell you she was a huge key player in making our day the best day ever, I truly mean that with my entire heart. The day of the rehearsal, Thursday April 8th - we met the lovely Shannon. Shannon made me feel so reassured - she knew what I was thinking without me even saying a thing! Our rehearsal went amazing, and she added in so many helpful tips and tricks to remember for the day of. Shannon let us run through as many times as we needed until we felt we had it down and were comfortable. I really cannot talk her up enough! Shannon and staff made our rehearsal go off without a hitch! The BBQ package we picked was a hit with everyone! They even let me add on two vegan plates for family that was unable to eat BBQ. Fast forward, to the best day ever!!! Shannon was there in the morning and through most of the day, and then we had Vanessa to lead our event. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN we met was AMAZING!!!!! I could say it until I am blue in the face. I felt so special, loved, & just so blessed to have such amazing staff to work with and help us! The package we picked for the day of included a DELICIOUS lunch that was delivered to our room with drinks & condiments. When it came down to game time and the ceremony the ladies were at the door of my cabin waiting to lead me to the venue with a fold out barrier to block me from being seen! Talk about thinking of everything!! Through all things thrown our way, we were able to have our day go off without a hitch. Tables were set with 6 instead of 10, dancing was outside (but you could not tell due to the heaters, we actually had them turn them off because it was so warm), and they even had catering staff serve at the buffet line! Every single person that attended had nothing but good things to say! From it being so personalized, to the staff being amazing, the food being out of this world, the lodging being more than what anyone imagined (both the Inn and Cabins at the Woods are STUNNING), plus SO much more - we received so many amazing compliments. We came back to our cabins to the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries & wine, with the sweetest card from Juno and Mariesa – as well as returning home to an email from them checking on the day! Thank you again to staff for all of the help and guidance! RUN do not walk to book BPW!! I hope this helps other brides & grooms thinking of booking here – they have everything even to accommodate a crazy pandemic! Thank you to Bay Pointe for being such a huge part in our BEST DAY EVER!
