Bay Pointe was the most perfect place for my wedding. Not only did the venue speak for itself, but the process of planning our wedding was incredibly smooth. The staff made it incredibly easy for us as they let us know when payments were due, all the information leading up to the day, and making sure our day ran smoothly. We cannot stop talking about how beautiful it was… and don’t get me started on the food. It was a hit! Bay Pointe allowed us to have the creative freedom and made for a perfect place for our guests. I would highly recommend looking into Bay Pointe if you are looking for somewhere that takes care of food, hospitality, and has great communication. Since our wedding in July, we have had nothing but incredible feedback from our guests. Even so… our friends decided to book their wedding there after ours. Goes to show how a venue can make an impact. Thank you, Bay Pointe.

We got married at Bay Pointe Woods on February 28, 2026, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food was outstanding. Our guests still talk about how great everything tasted. What impressed us most was how the team handled an unexpected situation. Our wedding cake collapsed during delivery, and the staff immediately offered to run to a local bakery to get us a replacement. I declined because it wasn't a big deal to us, and the on-site chef did everything he could to save it. Since our cake had strawberry filling, the repairs turned our white wedding cake into a bright pink one! Instead of ruining the moment, it became one of our favorite memories from the day and gave us a great story to tell. The staff went above and beyond, and their genuine care for making our day special meant the world to us. We couldn't recommend Bay Pointe Woods more highly

Once it was our turn to plan, we knew Bay Pointe Woods was the perfect place for us. Everything about the experience was great. The private wooded setting, cozy cottages, and stunning reception space made the day feel so special. The venue’s modern, sleek, and clean design made it easy to personalize and bring our own style to life. The food was delicious (the dessert bar was a huge hit!) and the bar packages offered great options for our guests. This made it so we couldn’t use our space that we paid thousands of dollars for for our own pictures which was pretty upsetting. Our food was amazing we chose a buffet with our silver package and it was way better than any venue wedding food I had ever had (many people said this). They offered many dates for tastings too which helped us to choose what to put on our menu. The venue came with Gabe our day of coordinator who was phenomenal, he even counted all of my cupcakes for me and offered solutions when my outside cake vendor shorted us over 100 cupcakes. ything was so smooth and stress free. I cannot recommend this wedding venue and hotel enough. They truly thought of everything and made sure we had the best weekend and wedding day that we could. The proximity of the cottages/hotel to the wedding venue gave our wedding guests such a unique experience. Everyone commented on how amazing the experience was! Not only was the actual wedding day amazing but then we were able to hangout for an "after party" by the fire pits with all of our guests and it was just amazing. Juno, the wedding coordinator, helped me plan for over 2 years and was just absolutely amazing. She always knew the answers to my questions, had prompt responses and helped us customize the day to exactly how we envisioned it. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. Megan was our coordinator during the actual weekend and she was also amazing. She made sure everyone was on time and everything was running smoothly. She was available for all questions and concerns the day of the wedding day and for the rehearsal. I just cannot express my gratitude for this venue enough. munication and attention to detail in the months leading up to the wedding, which caused unnecessary stress and additional work on our end to make sure that everything was correct. Day of timeline was stressful considering we could not access the reception space until 1pm. With open picture time from 12-2pm, we felt rushed to have everything set up before guests started to arrive. Although booking cottages was difficult to manage, our guests loved having a place to stay just walking distance from the reception. Overall, we were very happy with the venue and could not have imagined our special day anywhere else!

I have seen many pictures from other couples, but there was nothing quite like seeing the space come to life with your own vision. Having the cottages on the property was one of the main reasons why we booked with Bay Pointe. Since some of the other weddings did not book their cottages and hotel rooms, we were able to accommodate for over 70 people to stay on the property. I can't wait enough good things about Bay Pointe and my experience during my wedding weekend!

to our day, and the staff (and our vendors) the day of were excellent and took care of everything! It was so nice to be able relax while getting ready and not have to worry about anything. Rehearsal was also great! They have day of coordinators provided for you (that do everything except setup your own decor that your bring in) and they were so helpful in going over everything and assuring us it would go as planned. We had a Thursday rehearsal (Friday wedding) so nothing else was going on that evening afterwards. Our bridal party and family were able to hangout outside around the fire pits, and they let us bring in our own drinks and pizza (ordered from Lakeside Pizzeria right down the road on Gun lake, definitely recommend) which was super nice and saved us some money! We set up yard games and some extra lawn chairs right outside our cottage, and had a great and laid back rehearsal which is what we wanted! The Woods location itself is beautiful, and the cottages being right on site was a huge plus! Our bridal party and family all stayed the night before and the night of. The rooms were super nice, spacious, clean, and updated. The ceremony spot is absolutely gorgeous, and the reception area was incredible. We loved how the reception venue had a wrap around sidewalk and that guests were able to mingle inside/outside during cocktail hour and the reception. Food was also incredible! We had the prime rib, chicken chardonnay, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All amazing! Late snacks and appetizers were also delicious. Overall would 10/10 recommend. It couldn’t have gone better, and it was so great to see all of our family and friends also have a great time.

Food and drinks were flowing and delicious. We are grateful to the Bay Pointe staff for assisting in our reception run smoothly!

Bay Point offers, but we went with the Woods because we were planning on having a fall wedding. We couldn’t get over how beautiful everything was- from the cottages, to the grounds and everything in between. Having a late September wedding, we were initially concerned that things wouldn’t still be blooming but we were very pleasantly surprised with how much variety of beautiful landscaping they had. We had two photographers and took a lot of photos, and in every single picture, the property is just gorgeous. There wasn’t a bad place to take a photo on the whole property! You can tell they take pride in making sure everything is exactly how you want it. All of the staff was professional, kind and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I can’t say enough good things, I highly recommend Bay Pointe to anyone looking for the most beautiful venue!

The location is beautiful and the resort staff has perfected the art of putting on a great wedding. A huge perk of choosing Bay Pointe in my opinion is that the catering, bar/bartenders, and A LOT of the wedding essentials like chairs, tables, table clothes, etc are handled/provided directly by Bay Pointe. It’s so helpful to have a venue that is so inclusive so I don’t have work with a hundred other vendors! We highly recommend trusting Bay Pointe with your big day!

they responded to each question promptly and with kindness. On the day of, our coordinator was very sweet, experienced, and level-headed. She thought of every detail and made sure the day went smoothly. The venue is also gorgeous. It is tucked away from the main resort, so it has a very peaceful ambiance. We live out of state, so our main goal was to find someplace that was "all inclusive" (lodging options on site, catering, activities for guests...) and Bay Pointe was definitely that.

asking a ton of questions and they really made sure I got everything I wanted from a venue. The entire place was clean, organized and beautiful! It was so easy to have a beautiful day and I didn’t have to decorate a ton because the place is just so naturally beautiful! My day of coordinator Nat was INCREDIBLE! Nat kept us right on time, he kept my large wedding party organized and he made sure we got everything we wanted! If I could do it all again, I would choose Bay Pointe every time!

ough and so prompt. I never had to stress about anything because I knew she was on top of it. It's so easy for little things to get missed or overlooked on my end, but nothing went past her without her addressing every last little detail. I can't say enough good things about her! Nathan was the day-of coordinator....it was clear how invested and dedicated he was to making sure everything went smoothly. He was sooo sweet, and SO attentive to any last minute request and made sure our needs were met. He really knows what he's doing, it's so evident in the way he conducts himself so professionally. He was incredible!!! If it's not already obvious from all of the photos... Everything is so beautiful... the cottages are spacious and so modern, it was perfect for getting ready photos and plenty of room to dance around and drink mimosas all morning ;) The venue is obviously gorgeous on its own, which makes decorating a breeze... you don't need much! We had our ceremony outside which has evergreen trees and a tall arbor which makes for the perfect setting for photos. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding: between the staff, cottages / lodging accommodations, food (we went for the Tuscan buffet and I'm serious... it was good!!! I've worked a lot of banquets with my previous job and the food was always "meh" but this was actually really good!), and the area (right off Gun Lake, near the casino and golf courses) you will not regret a single thing. You get to just show up and have a good time! Your guests will rave about it too!!!

Food was great we chose the Buffett style with chicken Chardonnay, dill salmon, and herb crusted prime rib. We also had a few appetizers and late night snacks. All fantastic.
