Bayside Event Center can host up to 150 guests in the Grand Ballroom. Your guest will marvel at the elegance of the venue, complete with Italian marble tile, white columns, granite, and ambient, dimmable lighting with sunset views. Open the french doors to the beautiful decks over the water with breathtaking views overlooking Offatts Bayou in Galveston Bay. Our lighted open-air deck is perfect for your ceremony and the covered deck has bar service and cocktail tables making it the perfect hang-out viewing deck.
With their all-inclusive packages, Bayside Event Center can provide everything you need for an elegant and stress-free wedding. Catering, bar service, DJ and event planning are all services couples can take advantage of. The package also includes linen rental along with a wide variety of centerpieces, arches, a photo booth, and more. The staff will tailor the space to reflect your style. Setup and clean-up services are provided, enabling you to relax and enjoy the day to its fullest. Bayside Event Center is a wheelchair-accessible venue. DIY is also an option.
OVERNIGHT accommodations are available for up to 20 guest on the night of your event.

we arrived, the incredible service and attention to detail were evident. Ralph and Connie worked tirelessly to ensure that we were able to transform the venue into our dream wedding, and it truly felt like it was made just for us.
Throughout the night, Ralph and Connie were always on their toes, making sure that not only my husband and I were taken care of, but the entire wedding party as well. The venue itself is stunning, with breathtaking sunset views that made for the perfect backdrop to our special day. Additionally, the upstairs lodge was a wonderful space for our families to get ready on the day of.
Overall, my husband and I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. If you're looking for a truly special and memorable wedding venue, I highly recommend checking out Bayside Event Center and talking to Ralph and Connie. They truly poured so much love and care into our day, and we are forever grateful.

y professional and accommodating to anything we needed. We felt very well-taken care of throughout our special day. Connie was readily available as we transitioned and communicated with me about any questions or concerns. Ralph even took the time to note and tell us afterwards the exact time that we were pronounced husband and wife, which I thought was very personal and tells you that they really want to make your day the best that it can be!
The view alone was what sold us in the beginning of planning. We are from Dallas, and Galveston is a special place for us. We knew we wanted a water/ocean element for our venue and this space fit everything we needed. We love the indoor/outdoor space and the beautiful sunset over the water. It just really fit our personality as a couple, and it turned out more beautiful and perfect than we even imagined in our minds.
We have zero regrets about our venue or the transition of ownership. We cannot wait to see how they transform and update the space. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and we highly recommend a sunset timeframe for a wedding. Our guests loved the casual, fun nature of the venue and everyone raved to me about how much fun they had. All of my guests had a great time and there was plenty of room to spread out. The outdoor deck is beautiful for ceremonies and we even did our private final dance out there and it was so memorable. We were able to go down below on a smaller deck for our first look and it was so special to my husband and I. The pictures with the water in the background are my favorite from the day. Overall, if I had to re-plan my wedding all over again, I would still choose Waterfront Event Center!

rom the beginning, Lauren was easily accessible to answer questions, provide vendor listings to help with planning and make recommendations to ensure our wedding and reception went off without a hitch. We're so thankful for their help all the way through to our reception send-off (Scott even saved the day by providing us with a beautiful backdrop for our photo booth on the day of). Not only is the venue a stunning location for a wedding with its beautiful views of the bay and Moody Gardens, but the management really cares about each bride/groom. They make planning an event of a lifetime simple, and that's not an easy task to accomplish. The level of care was certainly felt! It was a great value when they suggested getting the bartender and server. It was at an additional cost, but all included in the same paperwork, so it made things very efficient and easy. The day-of they were there to help with any of our needs but also just let us do our thing to get set up and ready. The bridal and groom suites were the perfect places to get ready and hang out before the ceremony. Everything went off without any trouble and the location was just perfect for our sunset wedding. She made sure the wedding party stayed hydrated before the wedding, set most of the outside up for us while we ran errands, mingled with family and friends, kept us on our schedule, and absolutely put in great efforts to make this a magical occasion. true. From the beginning my husband and I were having such a hard time finding a venue in our budget that was beautiful and with only a week left till our wedding date. Lauren went out of her way to help us and even found vendors in the area. They made us feel at home and were on our team since day one. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome everything came together perfectly the cleanliness of the event center from the brides room, grooms room, kitchen, restrooms, ballroom area, decorations they even had music for us since we didn't have time to make a Playlist for our reception. Later that night as we arrived to our motel room we noticed that our autistic son had left his blankets at the venue and were in shock as it was already close to 11 pm. I felt horrible having to text if we could go back and search for the blankets and within minutes I got a reply with "of course you can come ". Bottom line there isn't a price tag I wouldn't pay to have another event here. We want to thank them again and forever from the bottom of our hearts for making this day everything in the world for us. Our wedding was a day to remember and the sunset made it feel unrealistic with its natural beauty. We can't wait to come back hopefully for our 1st year anniversary. Look no further Waterfront event center will leave you speechless at the end of the night!

Through the service and reception they checked on us and made sure we were ok. I can't say enough kind words about Lauren and her dedication to making us comfortable and making sure we had nothing to worry about but enjoying ourselves. Then there is the venue itself. It is gorgeous. We had the service on the deck as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. Then we moved inside to the beautiful ballroom for dinner and dancing. There was a spacious brides room for us and a just as spacious grooms room. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around. We had the inside plus the two decks for people to move around. If you want a dream wedding with people who truly care about what you want come see Scott and Lauren. This is more than a business to them. They want your dreams to come true.

Very elegant salon, brides room, grooms room, bar, private parking…the list is endless... and on top of this, you add an excellent management team on the hands of the owners, Scott and Lauren Vines. Yes, you won’t be dealing with bureaucracy. They provide a very personable, professional support and guidance along the entire process. They will make sure everything is at the highest standards and will allow you to tailor your wedding the way you want. Very flexible and willing to come up with ideas to make the wedding even better. We had a very specific and unique request for our dinner. We had Bielinas Catering's Chefs doing a paella show live on the covered deck, cooking the paella right there for our guests.
