BCP Weddings

Jake was the DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely great! He was very easy to work with, extremely organized and really wanted to make our wedding reception everything we wanted it to be. All of my guests loved Jake and have asked me what DJ we used because they had such a great time. He was very personable and kept the dance floor lively all night long. Highly recommend!

Brock was simply amazing! He showed up extra early to make sure our musicians for our ceremony were covered with mics and more! He went beyond our expectations with not only the music we wanted but directed our reception masterfully!

Brock was our DJ and he was AMAZING! I can not recommend them enough! Brock was not only great the night of the wedding, but even throughout the planning process! We had a few hiccups with getting a DJ scheduled for our wedding. Jake, the owner had no problems stepping in and handling situations. Jake ended up DJ’ing for our wedding and did a phenomenal job. Many of us were on the dance floor most of the night.

I have had the pleasure of attending many weddings in which Nic was the DJ, including my own. Each and every time he has exceeded expectations. Nic is hands down the best DJ! We had a very non-traditional wedding that was Halloween themed and entrusted him with bringing the vibe together - oh, did he deliver! We danced the entire night! The wedding ceremony was at midnight and he announced the countdown which was so fun! My guests raved about the clock tower bells at midnight, too! So creative! Oh, and we asked him to dress in costume (as it was a costume party) and of course he came dressed as Where's Waldo - loved it! You can tell that Nic loves what he does! Nic did an incredible job as DJ for our wedding. Having been to a handful of weddings in the past with him as DJ, we knew right away he was the choice for us. We enjoyed having him because he was organized, respectful, fun, and professional. Emily and I got to enjoy our ceremony and reception while Nic kept things moving. He also checked in with us occasionally and brought us a drink which was an added plus. If anybody is looking for a DJ, Nic with BCP Weddings is the only option!

One of our top priorities for our wedding reception was to have a great party and a packed dance floor. Once we shared that with our wedding planner, she recommended Nic with BCP and he. delivered. Not only was he super well-prepared and easy to work with prior to the wedding, but he kept the party going all night long. Everything flowed extremely smoothly and he played just the right music for our friends, our older guests, and our international crowd. 11/10 would recommend Nic!

Nic with BCP was so great to work with. He provided a very detailed questionnaire (that helped me through the planning process more than I thought it would). Nic met with me a week or two before my wedding to go over all the details and he was very helpful throughout. On the day of our wedding, Nic did such a great job keeping our dance floor packed and announcing everything we needed at the perfect time. The music was so fun but also appropriate for the crowd we had. We also used the photo booth which everyone thought was really fun, it had our personalized names on it and was great to see people using. I will be requesting Nic for any future events I have that require music!

Brock was so amazing to work with! He was great at understanding what we wanted out of our event. He was also fantastic at helping to lead the flow of the event and wrangling people to get where they needed to be. Brock totally understood the vibe of the dance floor and kept the energy up the whole time!! Music totally sets the mood for the whole reception and we had SO many people enjoying themselves on the dance floor. We had the best night ever!!

Nic was absolutely incredible! I have known Nic for a long time and when it came time to picking a DJ for our wedding I knew exactly who it was going to be, Nic! He made sure my fiancee (now wife) and I were able to pick what songs and how we wanted our special day to go. After just a few conversations, Nic delivered the absolute perfect wedding playlist and MC experience across the board. He even went out of his way to ask if my wife needed drinks or anything else throughout the reception. He also spotted her hair clip fall out during our entrance from across the room, tracked it down and brought it to her himself. He clearly communicated instructions to us and our bridal party for entrances and the event's timeline. Every guest has been raving about the music ever since our wedding. We attended a wedding in 2019 where Nic was the DJ. It was a fabulous night with great music. My partner and I were engaged at the time and planning our 2020 wedding. Nic did such an amazing job at our wedding ceremony and reception. He was extremely professional, kind and easy to work with. Nic was incredible! Our guests had a great time out on the dancefloor but I think the icing on the cake was that he picked up on a reference that my MOH made in her speech and played an extra song at the end of the reception which went above and beyond as a DJ and will be an awesome memory for us. My husband and I were really impressed!! Also, the outdoor lighting setup that Nic put together was INCREDIBLE which led to such a good setting for our first dance and we seriously appreciate the effort that went into it. Nic, what a party starter! We had the best time with family and friends at our wedding on 8.29.20 thanks to Nic. He got everyone dancing and having fun from the get-go! The music choices were fantastic, the lighting was so fun, and Nic of course gave amazing directive throughout the night. Such a professional DJ who brings the energy! I got married 6/20/2020 and Nic did sound for our ceremony and was the DJ for our reception! He did such an amazing job and if you are even thinking of booking BCP, do it right NOW! Planning the music was so smooth and easy with the tools they provide for requesting music. The ceremony music was perfect, exactly what we wanted! The DJ services were incredible. Everyone danced the whole night, he gave lots of announcements to keep our guests informed, and checked on my husband and I throughout the night to see if he could get us anything. So professional and so fun! I've never had so much fun dancing at a wedding and I'm so glad it was my own!!! Our guests told us how great they were throughout the night and I have still been getting compliments about Nic several days after the wedding. They truly are the best and I would recommend them to anyone.

Sean was chosen to be our DJ for the wedding. We had our wedding on 9/28/19. Sean was professional, timely and caring. He took care of every detail and request I had. While we were planning our wedding, everyone always told us to make sure that you pick your DJ well as they have so much influence over the experience your guests. That always made me nervous to hear but if you are considering BCP… look no farther. NIC IS YOUR GUY!!! He was incredibly easy to work with and made sure that every little detail was discussed. The online form was user-friendly and helped to be sure no details were left out. Nic continuously checked in on the two of us throughout the night to make sure that we were doing okay and to see if there was anything that we needed. Nic made sure that our dance floor was on fire. Sean was the icing on the cake for our wedding day! He was so easy to work with and accommodating. Nic was THE BOMB!!!! Our main goal for the wedding was “to keep everyone on the dance floor” and our dance floor was packed all night! I had people messaging me just hours after the wedding asking me what playlist I used / could they use for their wedding. Everyone kept saying how awesome the music was and it’s all thanks to Nic at BCP Live. He runs the show perfectly and lets you be as involved as you want! The live portal also gave us a way to select songs we’d love to have played as well as songs that we did not want played. Book him! You’ll thank me later!

Nic Sandstrom was AMAZING, took care of all of our needs the entire night, Showed up on time, listen to what we wanted to for music, went above and beyond for us as well, and was extremely fun to be around!!

We loved our experience with Ryan W. from BCP weddings!! Ryan has an awesome personality and was very punctual, organized, and detail oriented. We did not have a ton of ongoing communication with BCP between signing the contract and then meeting with Ryan closer to the wedding, which was actually quite nice in the pace of our planning. We met with Ryan once before the wedding and he was very engaging and invested in getting the details of the timeline right and understanding the kind of night we wanted. He then sent us the full detailed timeline again the week of the wedding to confirm. The wedding itself was a blast - Ryan was amazingly flexible with some last-minute ceremony needs, really pumped up the guests before we entered the reception, brought drinks to the head table during dinner (so considerate - A+, Ryan!), and even made sure people on the dance floor paid attention when our favorite line dance came on! We would highly recommend BCP!

Nic was amazing. We heard of BCP by our vendor and by my sister who was planning on using them. We were blown away by his professionalism, kindness, and life of the party attitude. He was such a gentleman and made sure everything ran smoothly. He took his time to meet with us before the big day and made sure it was everything we ever wanted and more. Thank you Nic!!!

I loved their planning form—we got to choose everything about the music and yet they also had some suggestions and input.

We chose BCP because of the great reviews and we didn't have a bad experience, but it wasn't as good as we hoped. When we were assigned a DJ, we were assigned a DJ that wasn't even on their website. He was hired through them, but was still an independent DJ, and that was kind of frustrating to us. Our DJ didn't really listen to us as to what we wanted for the dance. It wasn't bad, just not exactly what we wanted. He also played the wrong song during our wedding license signing, during the ceremony, and didn't have the song we requested there. Overall, the DJ experience didn't ruin how we remember our day, but we wanted to remember our DJ as an important part of our day, and we didn't get that. Update: I received a call, not from BCP weddings, but from our specific DJ explaining what happened. He told me why he had made a mistake with our song even though his explanation still would not have fixed the incorrect song. He also explained to me his connection to BCP Weddings, but this still doesn't resolve our issue with him not being on their website and us feeling blindsided. He also told us how he thought that the reception went well, yet failed to respond to us saying how he didn't listen to us for the music we wanted to play. The last thing that he said that really bothered us was that Jake, from BCP asked if Steve, our DJ could call us to explain this and ask us to change the review or delete it. This is not okay to us as it wasn't a way to reach out and see how they could be better, but rather a way to get us to change our review.

Nic has been a good friend for awhile so we had the faith he would do a good job. He did better. Nic made our experience easy, provided us with the guidance we needed, and was patient when it took us awhile to respond. He made the evening smooth and seamless which provided the whole reception with an overall great feel. Weeks later we are still getting compliments on how fun the night was and how 'totally cool' our DJ was. Nic and BCP Weddings are by far the best.

Jake and BCP Live were AWESOME! His planning tools were really helpful beforehand to pick out all our songs, introductions, toasts, and he kept the dance floor going all night! We had multiple people comment how great Jake was at keeping everyone engaged and focused on the the special parts - first dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc - just an excellent job overall. I highly recommend Jake and his team - they helped make it absolutely perfect for us!

Nic was very helpful when we first went in to meet with BCP, he usually responds back fairly quickly to emails of questions. The reason I'm giving 3/5 stars is because of our DJ. Alejandro was our DJ and he finally reached out to us about a week before our wedding after asking Nic about him 2 times. He was very nice when we met with him and seemed to know what he was talking about. At the wedding the music was good and he listened to all of our requests, but he did not know how to set up the equipment. My brother in-law who went to music school had to help him get everything set up properly! If it wasn't for him I don't know if he ever would have figured it out.

Nic with BCP did outstanding work at our wedding ceremony and reception. The planning for the event was organized and simple with BCP and Nic did an outstanding job during the evening of managing the timeline. The music selection for the evening was excellent. I am glad we chose to work with BCP.
