Jake was the DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely great! He was very easy to work with, extremely organized and really wanted to make our wedding reception everything we wanted it to be. All of my guests loved Jake and have asked me what DJ we used because they had such a great time. He was very personable and kept the dance floor lively all night long. Highly recommend!

Brock was simply amazing! He showed up extra early to make sure our musicians for our ceremony were covered with mics and more! He went beyond our expectations with not only the music we wanted but directed our reception masterfully!

We had a few hiccups with getting a DJ scheduled for our wedding. Jake, the owner had no problems stepping in and handling situations. Jake ended up DJ’ing for our wedding and did a phenomenal job. Many of us were on the dance floor most of the night.

Nic is hands down the best DJ! We had a very non-traditional wedding that was Halloween themed and entrusted him with bringing the vibe together - oh, did he deliver! We danced the entire night! The wedding ceremony was at midnight and he announced the countdown which was so fun! My guests raved about the clock tower bells at midnight, too! So creative! Oh, and we asked him to dress in costume (as it was a costume party) and of course he came dressed as Where's Waldo - loved it! You can tell that Nic loves what he does! Nic did an incredible job as DJ for our wedding. Having been to a handful of weddings in the past with him as DJ, we knew right away he was the choice for us. We enjoyed having him because he was organized, respectful, fun, and professional. Emily and I got to enjoy our ceremony and reception while Nic kept things moving. He also checked in with us occasionally and brought us a drink which was an added plus. If anybody is looking for a DJ, Nic with BCP Weddings is the only option!

One of our top priorities for our wedding reception was to have a great party and a packed dance floor. Once we shared that with our wedding planner, she recommended Nic with BCP and he. delivered. Not only was he super well-prepared and easy to work with prior to the wedding, but he kept the party going all night long. Everything flowed extremely smoothly and he played just the right music for our friends, our older guests, and our international crowd. 11/10 would recommend Nic!

Nic with BCP was so great to work with. He provided a very detailed questionnaire (that helped me through the planning process more than I thought it would). Nic met with me a week or two before my wedding to go over all the details and he was very helpful throughout. On the day of our wedding, Nic did such a great job keeping our dance floor packed and announcing everything we needed at the perfect time. The music was so fun but also appropriate for the crowd we had. We also used the photo booth which everyone thought was really fun, it had our personalized names on it and was great to see people using. I will be requesting Nic for any future events I have that require music!

Brock was so amazing to work with! He was great at understanding what we wanted out of our event. He was also fantastic at helping to lead the flow of the event and wrangling people to get where they needed to be. Brock totally understood the vibe of the dance floor and kept the energy up the whole time!! Music totally sets the mood for the whole reception and we had SO many people enjoying themselves on the dance floor. We had the best night ever!!

Nic was absolutely incredible! I have known Nic for a long time and when it came time to picking a DJ for our wedding I knew exactly who it was going to be, Nic! He made sure my fiancee (now wife) and I were able to pick what songs and how we wanted our special day to go. If you're stressed about finding the perfect wedding DJ in the Des Moines area, stop looking and just hire Nic and BCP. After just a few conversations, Nic delivered the absolute perfect wedding playlist and MC experience across the board. He even went out of his way to ask if my wife needed drinks or anything else throughout the reception. He also spotted her hair clip fall out during our entrance from across the room, tracked it down and brought it to her himself. He clearly communicated instructions to us and our bridal party for entrances and the event's timeline. Every guest has been raving about the music ever since our wedding. Nic was incredible! Our guests had a great time out on the dancefloor but I think the icing on the cake was that he picked up on a reference that my MOH made in her speech and played an extra song at the end of the reception which went above and beyond as a DJ and will be an awesome memory for us. My husband and I were really impressed!! Also, the outdoor lighting setup that Nic put together was INCREDIBLE which led to such a good setting for our first dance and we seriously appreciate the effort that went into it. Nic, what a party starter! We had the best time with family and friends at our wedding on 8.29.20 thanks to Nic. He got everyone dancing and having fun from the get-go! I got married 6/20/2020 and Nic did sound for our ceremony and was the DJ for our reception! He did such an amazing job and if you are even thinking of booking BCP, do it right NOW! Planning the music was so smooth and easy with the tools they provide for requesting music. The ceremony music was perfect, exactly what we wanted! The DJ services were incredible. Everyone danced the whole night, he gave lots of announcements to keep our guests informed, and checked on my husband and I throughout the night to see if he could get us anything. So professional and so fun! I've never had so much fun dancing at a wedding and I'm so glad it was my own!!! Our guests told us how great they were throughout the night and I have still been getting compliments about Nic several days after the wedding. They truly are the best and I would recommend them to anyone.

Sean was chosen to be our DJ for the wedding. We had our wedding on 9/28/19. Sean was professional, timely and caring. He took care of every detail and request I had. While we were planning our wedding, everyone always told us to make sure that you pick your DJ well as they have so much influence over the experience your guests. That always made me nervous to hear but if you are considering BCP… look no farther. NIC IS YOUR GUY!!! He was incredibly easy to work with and made sure that every little detail was discussed. The online form was user-friendly and helped to be sure no details were left out. Nic continuously checked in on the two of us throughout the night to make sure that we were doing okay and to see if there was anything that we needed. Nic made sure that our dance floor was on fire. Nic was THE BOMB!!!! Our main goal for the wedding was “to keep everyone on the dance floor” and our dance floor was packed all night! I had people messaging me just hours after the wedding asking me what playlist I used / could they use for their wedding. Everyone kept saying how awesome the music was and it’s all thanks to Nic at BCP Live. He runs the show perfectly and lets you be as involved as you want! The live portal also gave us a way to select songs we’d love to have played as well as songs that we did not want played. Book him! You’ll thank me later!

Nic Sandstrom was AMAZING, took care of all of our needs the entire night, Showed up on time, listen to what we wanted to for music, went above and beyond for us as well, and was extremely fun to be around!!

We loved our experience with Ryan W. from BCP weddings!! Ryan has an awesome personality and was very punctual, organized, and detail oriented. We did not have a ton of ongoing communication with BCP between signing the contract and then meeting with Ryan closer to the wedding, which was actually quite nice in the pace of our planning. We met with Ryan once before the wedding and he was very engaging and invested in getting the details of the timeline right and understanding the kind of night we wanted. He then sent us the full detailed timeline again the week of the wedding to confirm. The wedding itself was a blast - Ryan was amazingly flexible with some last-minute ceremony needs, really pumped up the guests before we entered the reception, brought drinks to the head table during dinner (so considerate - A+, Ryan!), and even made sure people on the dance floor paid attention when our favorite line dance came on! We would highly recommend BCP!

Nic was amazing. We heard of BCP by our vendor and by my sister who was planning on using them. We were blown away by his professionalism, kindness, and life of the party attitude. He was such a gentleman and made sure everything ran smoothly. He took his time to meet with us before the big day and made sure it was everything we ever wanted and more. Thank you Nic!!!

I loved their planning form—we got to choose everything about the music and yet they also had some suggestions and input.

We chose BCP because of the great reviews and we didn't have a bad experience, but it wasn't as good as we hoped. When we were assigned a DJ, we were assigned a DJ that wasn't even on their website. He was hired through them, but was still an independent DJ, and that was kind of frustrating to us. Our DJ didn't really listen to us as to what we wanted for the dance. It wasn't bad, just not exactly what we wanted. He also played the wrong song during our wedding license signing, during the ceremony, and didn't have the song we requested there. Overall, the DJ experience didn't ruin how we remember our day, but we wanted to remember our DJ as an important part of our day, and we didn't get that. Update: I received a call, not from BCP weddings, but from our specific DJ explaining what happened. He told me why he had made a mistake with our song even though his explanation still would not have fixed the incorrect song. He also explained to me his connection to BCP Weddings, but this still doesn't resolve our issue with him not being on their website and us feeling blindsided. He also told us how he thought that the reception went well, yet failed to respond to us saying how he didn't listen to us for the music we wanted to play. The last thing that he said that really bothered us was that Jake, from BCP asked if Steve, our DJ could call us to explain this and ask us to change the review or delete it. This is not okay to us as it wasn't a way to reach out and see how they could be better, but rather a way to get us to change our review.

Nic has been a good friend for awhile so we had the faith he would do a good job. He did better. Nic made our experience easy, provided us with the guidance we needed, and was patient when it took us awhile to respond. He made the evening smooth and seamless which provided the whole reception with an overall great feel. Weeks later we are still getting compliments on how fun the night was and how 'totally cool' our DJ was. Nic and BCP Weddings are by far the best.

I highly recommend Jake and his team - they helped make it absolutely perfect for us!

Nic was very helpful when we first went in to meet with BCP, he usually responds back fairly quickly to emails of questions. The reason I'm giving 3/5 stars is because of our DJ. Alejandro was our DJ and he finally reached out to us about a week before our wedding after asking Nic about him 2 times. He was very nice when we met with him and seemed to know what he was talking about. At the wedding the music was good and he listened to all of our requests, but he did not know how to set up the equipment. My brother in-law who went to music school had to help him get everything set up properly! If it wasn't for him I don't know if he ever would have figured it out.

Nic with BCP did outstanding work at our wedding ceremony and reception. The planning for the event was organized and simple with BCP and Nic did an outstanding job during the evening of managing the timeline. The music selection for the evening was excellent. I am glad we chose to work with BCP.

BCP was so awesome to work with! Our friends and family were on the dance floor all night, and everyone commented on how great the DJ was and how much fun they had dancing! BCP provided incredible DJ services for our wedding day and we would highly recommend! Nic was an awesome DJ, kept the dance floor full all night, and played great music. BCP Live did a great job! The music was fun and kept people dancing. Our DJ, Jimmy, ran the show very well. It was exactly what we were hoping for!

Ryan was easy to work with and kept the party going.. an hour longer than planned! He was on time, prompt in communication, and prepared for an outdoor reception site. We really enjoyed Ryan's personality as MC/DJ.

We had Jimmy from BCP and this will be kind of a mixed review. The planning tool BCP offers is super helpful and easy to use and Nic with BCP (I assume the owner) was always super responsive and kind. Our DJ for our wedding was Jimmy. He himself was a nice enough guy and did help with kind of the agenda, if you will, for the reception. We had little interaction leading up to the wedding day having only one short conversation a week prior. That is not necessarily bad. He did show up in plenty of time the day of our wedding with a helper and began set up. The reason for the lower ratings is for a few things. 1. There were some gaps with ceremony music and with speeches and overall flow in some areas that made it a bit awkward. Everything can’t be perfect I understand that, but these were gaps that others noticed and made comment of. 2. We had multiple guests tell us later that night and even the next day that any songs that were requested they were told would not be played until the bride was on the dance floor. Well as the bride and groom, naturally many guests requested our conversation therefore most of our night was spent visiting and thanking our guests for coming. Had I known in advance it would be this way I would have given full permission to play anything requested when requested. Maybe I should have known this?? Im not sure. Lastly there was a small incident a couple parents let us know about while the DJ and his helper were setting up for the ceremony. It was only some family and the wedding party present at the time but there was some frustration with set up not happening appropriately I guess and this frustration was expressed with use of a cuss word in the presence of several children so I had some less then pleased parents so I did go to Jimmy to make sure everything was ok and he said yes it was fine he just was frustrated with set up going a bit choatic so. I think Jimmy knows how to give a good party and all the song selections are there, I just wish I had maybe known ahead of time about song requests and maybe I should have discussed the flow of songs and speeches a bit more ahead of time so I will take some ownership in that. I would just encourage anyone that uses them to have clear conversations ahead of time about any expectations or preferences with song requests/selections and flow of overall things.

I would highly recommend BCP for their DJ services! Ryan was great. He helped the reception run smoothly and everyone LOVED dancing! We even added an extra hour because the dance floor was packed! Great planning, music, and people to work with!

Our DJ, Steve, was amazing!! He went above and beyond to ensure that all of the little details were taken care of. He was quick to respond to emails and even called us the day before to make sure that everything was right and ready to go. We requested a mini amplifier for a guitar the morning of the wedding and he was able to bring one without hesitation. Our dance floor was packed all night and never once empty. Any song requests that were made he was able to do and he made the party a blast!

BCP Weddings were so easy to work with! We had Jimmy as our DJ and he was so knowledgeable and flexible. He was able to Skype with us to make sure we were comfortable with everything on our day. The day of he kept everyone out on the dance floor and knew the flow of everything that was going on. We loved having Jimmy be a part of our wedding day!

I could not have been happier with BCP Weddings! Nic was our DJ and went above and beyond his job description. He ensured my husband and I had something to drink for toasts as soon as we made our grand entrance into the reception, followed my timeline of events perfectly and personally walked the microphone over to the individuals giving speeches as soon as they needed it. My husband had created a more adult-friendly list of songs to play after the children/families went home, and Nic was on point starting it when requested! I can't recommend BCP enough! They did an incredible job from the time of booking all the way through until the end of my wedding day. Nic was simply amazing at everything. He even held my plate as I got food and gave my husband his tie to be blind folded with (above and beyond his job description :) ). The photo booth was so much fun and the guy running it, I believe Marshaun (I apologize if that is wrong) was awesome and fun as well. Everyone had such a blast and we can't thank Nic and his team enough!

He was so easy to work with - both in the planning stage and day of. I still have guests who can't stop talking about how great the DJ was and how packed the dance floor was. I CANNOT RECOMMEND BCP ENOUGH! We just got married on 11/11 and Nic was fantastic. The online music website was a piece of cake to work with and really helped me feel confident our DJ would play the songs we like. As a music teacher, having a good DJ was #1 in my book and BCP (and Nic especially) didn't disappoint! He worked hard to keep our dance floor jammin' and he was easy to work with. He stayed engaged the entire time he was DJ and danced along to the music. Also, he helped us get our powerpoint picture slide show up and running last minute and made sure it went smoothly the whole time. Honestly, BCP was FANTASTIC. Book them!

Nic from BCP was so great to work with! He made sure we had everything we wanted finalized prior to the wedding and was great with communication. I cannot day enough good things about BCP Weddings! They are phenomenal! From start to finish they were professional, respectful and dependable. Nic was very open as we discussed how we wanted different things to run. He shared passed successes and failures, but always left it open ended that it was our day and he would do whatever we asked of him. He created an amazing father/ daughter dance mix that was a huge surprise to everyone in attendance (the groom included!). He brought back ups of everything, so there was literally nothing for us to worry about. Nic stuck with the types of music we had requested and never played anything our guests didn’t like. At the end of the night, we had to kick people off the dance floor because they were having so much fun right up to the end! Thank you so much for making our wedding reception so incredible! What an OUSTANDING company! My spouse and I was unsure of who to use, the quality of their work and how the night would go. Nic made the night great! Talk about a hard worker, I honestly had to stop myself from complaining with working and going to graduate school because of how hard this guy works. Amazing! Communication was excellent with Nic and our DJ, Ryan, was great to work with. He made sure we got everything we wanted and did an excellent job of reading the crowd and keeping the party going.

My husband and I cannot say enough great words about Nic! Right off the bat he demonstrated his knowledge of the venue, which easily convinced us that he was the man for the job! Throughout the planning process, Nic contacted us multiple times to check in and confirm details. He was very timely in communicating through email and shared great ideas and advice prior to the day! Our actually wedding day could not have gone smoother, especially with both vendor and weather issues. Nic stepped up to organize these issues and relieved the stress of the day! BCP was awesome! They provided our DJ, photo booth, and up-lighting. Jimmy was our DJ and he did a great job. They were easy to work with and always responded to email promptly. I would definitely recommend them!!!

I loved our DJ!! We had some timing issues with other vendors and guests were actually telling me they were bored, so I was near tears. Ryan, an owner, stepped in and he and Bill, our Dj rearranged the schedule to keep the flow going and making it a wonderful night

Little bit of a let down..we were really excited to have BC Productions as our DJ for our wedding - they are good salesman and have great reviews. Jake and Nic were great to work with...But the DJ we had definitely missed the mark at our wedding. The site where you choose your songs is not great to navigate on, but it is really helpful in helping to plan your day! It basically gives your must haves etc. but ours was not followed. We put a lot of time and effort into planning and we basically only had first dance songs and entrance song played. Our DJ did not do the dollar dance - so we missed out on a lot of honeymoon money (makes me sounds greedy but we spent $30,000 on our wedding)..especially since we had an open bar all night. We also had to request to do the garter and bouquet toss at the end of the night, so that almost got skipped. Our DJ did get the dance going which was really important, but there were still a lot in which they missed the mark.

We were very pleased with BCP and our dj Ryan and planner Nic. From the beginning Nic was prompt at answering any questions we had, flexible with our planning, and very easy to work with. Once we were assigned Ryan as our DJ and began the planning process we were also very happy with our experience. He was flexible with our wants and needs, and our family, to this day, is still gushing about how great he was. The energy at our reception was the perfect environment. I would recommend BCP to anyone in thegreater Des Moines area for their event.

Our reception was great, and the whole team was willing to be flexible when things ran long or didn't go exactly as planned. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Nic was terrific. Rain that was not in the forecast surprised us on our wedding day. Nic did a great job being able to move from outside to inside with extreme short notice. His playlist was spot on. Everything we wanted was played. When a song was questionable (language) but had a few people requesting it, he came up to me and asked whether it could be played. You could tell he could feel a crowd and see what they wanted to hear because there wasn't one time the dance floor was empty after our first dance. He kept things moving and ended up being one of the few DJ's I've seen not try to make it about himself or crack jokes in an attempt to be a comedian for the night. He also made sure to sit down with us two weeks before the wedding and again a few days before to make sure everything was going great. He always had time. We decided to mesh a few songs together and he had no problem getting that done before our big day. There's no doubt that if I'm asked to recommend a DJ, there's only one name on my list and that's Nic from BCP.

Five stars without hesitation! Jake and Nic were great to work with—always quickly responsive to our many emails or VM messages. Ryan, our DJ, was outstanding!! He too, was always responsive and met with the bride and groom and myself (I am the MOG), in order to ensure everything went perfectly. He demonstrated personal caring and kindness, and served as calming/reassurance prior to the wedding. He delivered the objective / goal at the reception, which was to get our guests on the dance floor and keep them there. Immediately after the traditional dances (bride/groom, bride/ FOB, Groom/MOG) were completed and the first “all dance” song was played, the dance floor was full, and remained jammed for the rest of the night. Ryan went above and beyond to make this event beyond memorable, to include a very personal message and gift to the bride and groom; he even was the first to jump up to fix a flower urn which had blown over. A week later, people are still sharing with us (calls, emails, texts, and even a letter), that this was the best wedding EVER, and we need to thank Ryan for being an important part of the entire celebration. Thank you Ryan My son and his bride live out of state, but were marrying in DSM. As such, the MOB and myself were each doing research of vendors for the wedding day and then providing our findings, to allow the bride and groom to make the final decision. One of the vendors I was assigned was the DJ. Not knowing where to begin, I asked a friend, whose daughter’s wedding had taken place the year prior. She didn’t hesitate to recommend BCP and now, neither would I.
