ng quick check ins in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and I could not have asked for a better presence the day of the wedding. Especially because we don't live in the same city as we got married, it was that much more important to us to have someone to rely on.
Bambi was able to keep us on schedule and stress free on the wedding day. Before I could stress out about anything, Bambi had a solution and was on top of anticipating any needs. I cannot recommend working with her highly enough!

ith rescheduling of dates and ever changing guidelines. She was constantly thinking ahead and asked all the right questions during walkthroughs or vendors calls. Her experience and organization skills are immediately apparent and her packages are affordable. ffer us a really clear view of the best vendors in our price range. Every vendor she introduced us to was not only very professional, but she was also very in tune with our tastes. It never felt like she was pushing her own preferences on us -- she totally understood our vibe, and tailored her recommendations to that. On top of that, she is always SO responsive -- I never once felt like she was giving us less than 100% of her attention, even though I know she had other clients! The day of our wedding was flawless, and Nicki along with her assistant Katie were right there to take care of every last detail, even the ones you'd never think of in a million years. I've stood up in weddings with other planners before, but none as involved and on top of it all as Nicki!

were some items where I had a clear vision of what I wanted and many of which I had no clue. Nicki did a great job of seeing to it that our wedding was perfect and tailored to our wishes.
Nicki was great to work with, always very pleasant and offered great ideas. She helped us with so many little details I did not even realize went into wedding planning. My family and I were in the throngs of wedding planning when we realized that, given I grew up in Chicago but lived with my fiancee out of state--among other logistical challenges-...
-we needed a wedding coordinator. We interviewed BCR events and another firm in the area but from the beginning there was no comparison. BCR events won out by a long shot, mostly because Bambi and Nicki are the smartest, nicest planners in the area and from our first conversation on the phone, really showed that they cared about my vision for the wedding.
My family and I worked with Nicki during the planning process and I cannot say enough good things about her. I knew that planning a wedding from afar would be tough, but Nicki made everything so seamless for us and definitely WAY less stressful than I thought it would be. During the planning process, I traveled home to Chicago about once a month on the weekends, which is prime wedding time. Instead of telling me she couldn't meet with me, Nicki always rearranged her schedule to accommodate an in-person visit, which speaks volumes about her commitment to her clients (she also hopped on the phone at the drop of a hat to answer questions my family and I had. She provided recommendations to us in a way that was professional and speaks to her broad network/knowledge of wedding vendors in the area and never did I feel that she was pushing something on us because of a deal she had arranged with a certain local vendor. She provided amazing, proven recommendations in a way that allowed us to exercise our vision...which I understand is a common compliant from lesser planning firms.
I could go on and on about how Nicki was amazing during the planning process and did everything for us on the day of, but in the spirit of keeping this review short, know that if you are considering a wedding planner/coordinator (which I HIGHLY recommend even if you are not planning an out-of-state wedding for sanity purposes alone), your first and only stop should be BCR events. They are the best at what they do and their rates are very competitive.

ked relentlessly to make sure my husband and I felt at ease and relaxed the entire day of the wedding (and rehearsal, too). We wouldn't have been able to do it without her -- Bambi has one of the best on her team.
Nicki is a hard worker and will put her entire being into making sure your weekend/day is nothing but perfect. She was there until the very end, even delivery things to our hotel room post-wedding!
