and the Alabama summer heat Katie made everything perfect. She was so quick, professional, patient, and accommodating. And our pictures turned out STUNNING. Every shot is beautiful and natural. (You would have never known there were thunderstorms!) She is truly so talented! We felt so comfortable and she made everything FUN! Cannot recommend Be Light enough!!!

From the start, she worked with my husband and I to figure out our personal style and what kind of shots we were looking for. On the day of, she managed to capture the candid moments discreetly, letting the moments happen organically and not directing everyone around. During the ceremony, I didn't even notice she was there! When it came time for the posed pictures, she directed and posed our group without being overbearing whatsoever. After the wedding, she edited our pictures faster than we could have imagined, and provided us with hundreds of perfectly captured and edited pictures within a couple weeks of our wedding. Katie has a unique ability to capture the day as it unfolds, and the finished product tells the full story of our wedding day. We couldn't be happier with her work, and I'm sure we will be using her for our future photography needs!

photographer and gave me her card. I immediately looked at her website and was very pleased with her work. She is a wonderful photographer, open to your personal preferences, and she offers a competitive price. We booked her pretty far out from our big day, but she was always available when I had any questions. A few weeks before the wedding, we had a phone conference to go over a timeline for what types of pictures I wanted and where they were to be taken. This was super helpful because it helped frame the entire day. While the timeline wasn't exact on our wedding day due to some things outside of our control, we were able to get all of the pictures that we wanted. Katie showed up about 30 minutes before our shooting time with a couple of co-workers and was very present, giving us options, but never being pushy. It was refreshing to have her around, directing us where we should go to make a better shot. She remained professional throughout the entire day and we got every picture that we wanted. She even asked us if we wanted to sneak out during the reception to get a few of us with the city skyline in the back. We ended up declining because we were having so much fun. I just received the pictures and they are outstanding! I didn't imagine that they would turn out as great as they did. I highly recommend Katie Logan and Be Light Photography for any event that you may have! Her pictures and professionalism prove what a joy she is to work with.
