Owner Nick Cavaleri has more than 20 years of experience helping couples create the wedding of their dreams. He is continually doing his utmost for to-be-weds, and he is keen to collaborate with all manner of couples on the biggest and most important day of their lives. This entertainer loves getting to know his clients and hearing their love stories, which he works to honor with an incredible and unforgettable performance. Following an initial consultation over the phone, Be The Good Entertainment will meet with you for a creativity session. During this time, they will walk you through possible DJ and MC options, you will discuss your desires, and most importantly, they will listen. From there, the team is committed to making sure that all your wishes come true and that your wedding sparkles with your personality.

Nick is the man! We had a great time at our wedding in December with him as our DJ. He was great to work with throughout the entire planning process and the day of. He helped us to put together a great setlist, making sure only the music we wanted was on it. He made sure our first dance was the perfect length, and sounded exactly as we wanted it, and that the music for the ceremony itself was arranged how we wanted it. He was also able to adapt quickly the day of to some last-minute changes we had decided on. The reception itself was a blast. Two months later people are still telling us how much fun they had, we owe it to Nick and his team. Thanks again!

I don’t even know where to start. Nick was honestly the BEST vendor we worked with for our wedding. Our wedding was on a Sunday and we were worried that many people might not be as lively with some having work the next day but oh boy I was wrong. Nick kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. It was important to us to play music for all ages and he KILLED it. Everyone after kept on saying how great the music and dance floor was. Nick is so professional, talented, and personable. We had thrown a curve ball at him pretty close to the wedding with deciding to have my Uncle play his guitar/sing for our ceremony and Nick jumped in to help him set up and even lent some of his equipment. This just shows how much he cares about making his clients day so special and run smoothly as possible. I like to say Nick wears two hats, yes he’s a DJ but he is also a coordinator. He did an amazing job coordinating all the details and timelines for the ceremony/reception. I would recommend Nick to anyone getting married. Literally stop your search, book him now!!! You won’t regret it.

NICK! Where to begin! Probably the most fun part of the wedding planning was our phone calls with Nick. He was honest with recommendations, and immediately knew he was going to be a good time. Fast forward to our ceremony, I don't think it would have operated smoothly without him. He truly was a god sent orchestrating. Reception... amazing. Everyone kept complimenting the music all evening. Which was all up to Nick!! We told him hey we like these artists, we have a couple of must play songs but other than that, he truly was remarkable at just understanding the crowd and just mixing in what would keep everyone going. My husband does NOT dance ever. He hardly left the dance floor!! Best night of my life.

We both knew when it came to planning our wedding other than food the MOST important thing was finding an amazing DJ as they control the vibes for the whole night. Nick with Be the Good absolutely CRUSHED it!!! Not only was he the best vendor we worked with in terms of professionalism, communication and helping us with the entire wedding timeline he was truly such a great person! We had multiple calls where he asked us great questions, gave us insight into things we never considered and also gave us great suggestions. It was clear from the start this is not his first LBI BBYC wedding and we were so thankful to have him. The day of the wedding he ran the entire night and kept folks dancing all night long. All our guests kept saying how great the music was and how much fun variety the night had because you never knew what he was going to play next! 10/10 recommend!!

Nick and his team were absolutely AWESOME as our wedding Emcee/DJ. His attention to detail is unmatched. My husband and I are HUGE music lovers. He worked with us to curate the perfect playlists based on songs that we wanted to hear, while still working in popular crowd-pleasers. His expertise and willingness to work with us and our wedding planner leading up to the event helped us feel at ease during a stressful time. Nick prioritized keeping the dance floor full and people engaged, and he delivered - what an absolutely great time. My father-in-law was break dancing! He was also so incredibly helpful even with questions that didn't relate directly to DJing. We had multiple guests commenting on what an amazing job he did, and how great the music was. He helped make our wedding day perfect. Nick is such a genuinely good person, and his business is a reflection of that. Nick, and the rest of the team at Be The Good Entertainment should be your first choice for any event!

I was so happy I met Nick Cavaleri at a wedding expo at Hotel LBI and we hired him to be our wedding DJ!! Nick did an amazing job planning with us leading up to the wedding especially when it came to the time line. The day of was flawless thanks to him!! He did a great job with song choices and kept our guest entertained and dancing all night long! My dad loved him and said he plans to hire him for my little sisters wedding in the future! Without a doubt I recommend Nick and his team!!

From start to finish, Nick will make you feel like the most important people in the world! My husband who very much did NOT enjoy wedding planning always enjoyed our meetings with Nick. He is a perfect combination of complete professionalism, charisma, and fun! He has a true love and passion for all different types of music, which really lends itself well to his role as MC/DJ! We also had Nick officiant our wedding, and he wrote a beautiful, sentimental, yet fun ceremony! However, the reason I’m writing this review is that our venue dropped the ball, and Nick REALLY helped pick up the pieces. He took on a lot of the coordinating, which was NOT his job responsibility. However, he did it because he wanted us to have a great wedding, and I will never forget him for that! Months later, my friends and family are still talking about the music! Little do they know that me, my husband and Nick had a two hour brainstorming session to make sure we were picking the best songs 😊 If you are looking for an amazing DJ, please pick Nick! He’s the best in the business!

There are not enough words to describe how incredible Nick and his team are. Music can make or break a wedding and Nick truly made our wedding. I still say it and I will continue to say it, we had the best DJ. Nick is incredibly personable and made the whole planning process fun. He meets with you a few times to discuss your vision for your day, giving suggestions and prompts when needed to ensure he has a solid understanding if your preferences. Nick brings life to the party, making him the perfect MC. Throughout the night he kept me an my husband informed of what was coming next i.e. announcements, first dance, mother/son, father daughter, anniversary, last dance. You never felt like you were unprepared for when you were needed next. His teams is incredible. While they do not play a specific set list, you provide them with a list of your favorite artists and they play to the vibe of the party (excluding all your Do Not Play requests as well) to ensure everyone is dancing and having a good time. There were flawless song transitions as well. While this may seem small, not having a lull or sharp transition makes it near impossible to leave the dance floor. Additionally, if your venue allows, I recommend paying a little extra for an hour or so of over overtime. On your wedding day, with Nick as your DJ, you are not going to want the end the night, so I highly recommend a short "after party" to wrap up the night. Lastly, Be The Good also offers photo booth options. I cannot recommend this enough. It is so fun to actually take the pictures during the reception, but being able to look back on them after the fact is incredible. For just a little extra, you can have the attendant print one extra photo strip from each session that can be put into a guestbook they provide and they can even supply the props; one less thing for you to think about. I cannot recommend Nick and his team enough. They are incredibly talented and really work to make your wedding day special. If I had to do it all over again, time and time again, I will choose Be The Good Entertainment.

I do not have enough good things to say about Be The Good, they are the BEST! After our wedding did not go as planned, Nick & his crew kept the party going when we had to move to a different location. 100% professionalism comes from them and they know how to get the crowd jumpin! 10 out of 10 stars

Nik is amazing!!! we had very specific music tastes and so many changes, not only did he deliver what we wanted but leveled up the night. the dance floor was hopping all night and we got so many compliments from our guests that it was the best music they’ve heard at a wedding ever!! Hire Nick and find someone invested in creating the best party experience.

Nick is the real deal, 100% , must have. We knew we needed Nick after enjoying another wedding, and it was the best decision. From start to finish, Nick was easy to work with and wanted to execute our vision. He truly cares and was even able to figure out the vision when I myself was going back and forth. He will help craft your whole reception and the flow of events. I had full trust and comfort from the very beginning and all the way through. Nick goes above and beyond in every way and will keep your party going the entire night! Cannot recommend him enough!

Nick was truly the best DJ we could’ve asked for. My husband and I wanted to be very involved in the playlist for our wedding. We love so many different kinds of music—country, pop, rock—and we wanted it all incorporated. Nick worked with us in multiple meetings to perfect the direction the playlist would go. The dance floor was moving ALL NIGHT. We were sore for days from all the dancing. The lights and DJ set up were gorgeous and the photobooth was a huge hit. If you want a DJ who delivers exactly what you ask for, Nick is your guy.
