One thing we learned is that, for our wedding, we did not need a separate independent planner. Saundra handled the travel, resort selection, guest accommodations, and logistics, while the resort’s wedding planner managed the on-site wedding details. We also worked directly with our wedding party on personal elements. Together, this support system made planning far more manageable than we ever expected. From the beginning, Saundra was warm, professional, transparent, and incredibly knowledgeable. She set realistic expectations and took time to explain how destination wedding resorts operate. We always felt informed and supported, and no question was ever too small. If she didn’t have an answer right away, she followed up quickly with one. One of the biggest challenges we faced involved pricing. Shortly after signing our contract, the resort launched a major sale that created a significant gap between our contracted rates and public pricing. Saundra immediately advocated for us and worked persistently with the resort to renegotiate. Her willingness to go to bat for her clients truly stood out. She also took excellent care of our guests. Every question—from booking to travel logistics—was handled with patience and kindness. The feedback we received from friends and family was consistently positive, and knowing they had support made a huge difference for us. What sets Saundra apart is the level of care she brings to her work. She remained available before, during, and even after travel when needed. At every stage, it was clear she was genuinely invested in creating the best experience for everyone involved. of October. This could have been a catastrophic for the wedding and our guests. However, Beach Bridal Vacations stepped in providing guidance and working with the resort to move our reservations forward without a monetary loss. We all got a refund on our airfare and the event was rescheduled for early March of 2026. The resort was fabulous. Everyone was so very nice. Perfect amenities. On the trip from the airport we saw several storm damaged buildings but the resort had no visible damage. Everyone made it to Jamaica on time. One member of the groom's party did 22 hours in transit due to one late flight and a missed connecting flight; but, he and his plus 1 had a great time partying in a tropical location where they had an all night layover. The wedding went perfectly. Our DJ was the best I have ever seen. Everyone had a great time. Beach Bridal Vacations was so very responsive and did all that was necessary to keep things on track and everyone informed. I highly recommend them!
