Beach House, Hilton Head

The wedding managers were amazing. This venue had been through changes of construction however the ladies who worked with me were patient and client centered . I had an amazing wedding day and I appreciate this team and venue Brandy Harris

Rachel was quick to reply whenever we had questions. We were all set for a gorgeous outdoor reception right on the beach and unfortunately we had heavy rain and had to move the reception to indoors. Rachel and her team did a GREAT job making the Sky Room ready for our party and it ended up looking great and we had a wonderful time. A word of caution: Beach House does set aside one indoor space for you as a back up plan if you plan an outdoor reception, but you do NOT get to pick which space it is. We got very lucky that we were able to squeeze in the pretty Sky Room… the less aesthetically appealing ballroom happened to be booked for some kind of business event that weekend. So, if they had booked the Sky Room for another event, we would have been stuck inside the Sand Ballroom and I would have been pretty disappointed to have spent all that money and ended up in a room that’s somewhat corporate looking. If you book an outdoor reception they will tell you that you can have your event even if it rains because the tent has sides, but what we didn’t know was that the tent only had one side to it, which happened to be the only divider between the reception area and the tiki bar. The tiki bar is a fun spot (we enjoyed it very much after our rehearsal dinner!) but I can only imagine how much noise we would have had coming from that area and interfering with our reception area. There’s probably no more than 15 feet separating your Dunes reception area from the boisterous tiki bar. Overall we had a great time at Beach House and they were professional to work with, but I now know a couple questions that I would have asked at the beginning!

We got married at The Beach House on July 22 and it was one of the best decisions we made. Everything was absolutely amazing. Margaret and Rachel were attentive and helpful through everything, the day went so smooth and everyone loved the food. The resort was beautiful and our guests loved staying there. If I could do it again I would choose them every time.

Beautiful location, wonderful reception selections (reception location, food and bar choices)) and the staff were incredibly helpful! Our wedding was perfect and we had to plan everything remotely, and the communication between the coordinator at the venue was so easy and responsive! We had an absolute blast!

I got married here on June 1, 2019. I booked the Sky Room, which was perfect for a hot June day. We got great views of the ocean, without ruining our hair and make up dancing the night away in the AC. We worked with Keeli, who was always available to answer questions via text, email, or phone call. She did a great job working with my month of planner, and DJ to make sure things were going smoothly. The prices for food and alcohol packages were surprisingly decent! And our contract even included a complimentary King ocean view suite for the night of. It was also really nice to come up to our room and see that we had extra food packaged for us, chocolate dipped strawberries, champagne, complimentary breakfast for the next day, and even a beach bag with snacks and a towel! Keeli at the Beach House also did us a huge favor by receiving packages that were delivered to the hotel to decorate our venue, and her team did a fabulous job of setting up the room according to my designs. Hilton Head Island has now become an incredibly special spot for my husband and me, and it's all thanks to the Beach House Resort, Keeli, and her staff. THANK YOU!

The Beach House was the perfect spot for our wedding! We worked with Keeli and she made sure that everything was in order and exactly how we wished the day would go. It was a beautiful venue (we got married on the beach with an arbor and the reception was at the dunes), and it could not have been more perfect! We did a brunch menu and it was delicious, everyone raved about the food. The hotel was also extremely comfortable and close to everything. The hotel gives the newlyweds a free night on their wedding night, along with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was wonderful to relax after a long day. Thank you Beach House for everything, it was perfect! We will be back to stay for anniversaries/vacations.

Keeli, the wedding coordinator for the resort, was amazing! From the moment we booked the venue we felt like everything was in good hands. She helped us along the way with everything we needed and helped the day turn out wonderfully. The day of the wedding, she took care of all planning and communication with the other vendors allowing us to relax and focus on us. We decided to get ready in one of the suites which was super spacious and had plenty of room for the 7 of us getting ready. We had food and drinks sent up for getting ready and they were presented so nicely! The ceremony on the beach was beautiful and set up very nicely. The transition from ceremony to reception was also really easy with the tent being close by. This gave us so much more time to spend at the reception instead of having to travel and take pictures elsewhere. The tent was beautifully set up and very spacious. The food was also amazing we loved all of it and wished we could have eaten more! They also had such sweet touches like sending up food, champagne, and a little gift bag. I can't say enough good things about it. Our wedding was perfect!

My Husband, Nick, and I were blown away by our wedding at the Beach House! We're from Boston so planning a destination wedding seemed like it would be a hard task to get exactly how we wanted it... But Keeli and the staff at the Beach House were absolutely incredible! We got married September 22, 2018 and it was an absolute dream! The weather was perfect and every detail was put together exactly how we envisioned our wedding would be! Keeli was super helpful and ALWAYS available for any questions or concerns we had! She's the best! We used the Porch, which is their restaurant at the hotel, for our caterer and it was unbelievably good! They did an amazing job during their food tasting and we even had the chef come out during diner to thank him for his hard work and delicious spread he presented! Our guests are still talking about the venue, food and the southern hospitality that everyone had shown us! We will defiantly be back to visit everyone!

I cannot say enough great things about Keeli Smith and the Beach House Resort! They did a phenomenal job with everything! Keeli made sure our day was perfect and that it was! She was very accommodating and very pleasant to work with! The whole staff was very professional in everything they did. The decorations looked awesome and the food and bar service were great! Being from out of town and just going off reviews for a venue and food was alittle nerve wrecking but I am so very glad we picked this resort! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Our family and friends who attended cannot stop talking about how wonderful our wedding was. Thank you Keeli and the Beach House Resort for making our wedding day so special! Anybody who is trying to pick out a venue in Hilton Head, SC definitely should pick this place. You wont be disappointed!

we were planning our wedding from across the country and Keeli was so helpful. we had some set backs with the coordinator changing several times, but Keeli helped to get things back on track and it ended up going perfectly. the location was perfect! All of our guests had an amazing time. several of our guests raved that it was the best wedding food they've ever had! the staff was amazing the entire stay! we also loved having the restaurant and live band there every night!!

I got married here 2 weeks ago and we could not have picked a better location! This place is on the beach, with a pool, and 2 bars. There is a TON of seating outside if you just want to hang out and have a drink. Our wedding coordinator, Keeli, was THE BEST. She actually made wedding planning and decision making enjoyable! I wasn't looking forward to ironing out all the little details of a wedding. I just wanted to sit back and let someone else do the work. Keeli was that person! She did everything for us. We sent pictures of a cake we wanted. She emailed me right back with a picture of a VERY similar cake their pastry chef had just made for a wedding a couple weeks prior. Keeli is on top of it. She is the most responsive person I've ever met when it comes to returning a call or an email. She is truly amazing! Our wedding would not have been the same without her and her team. The food was PHENOMENAL. They smoke all their meat on site. Everything was absolutely perfect. My new husband and I returned to our room after all the festivities to find champagne on ice, chocolate covered strawberries, a beach bag with goodies, and 2 very well written cards congratulating us.....all from Keeli. There was also a bag of leftovers from dinner! Which was perfect because we hadn't eaten to much because we were visiting with our guests. If you are looking to get married on the beach in Hilton Head....I cannot recommend this place enough!

I just got married last June 11th here and all I can say is they are amazing! For the price we paid I think they went above and beyond. Specially Page, our wedding coordinator she was very helpful. The venue is great as well as the customer service. We will deefinitely come back!

We got married on 5/18/17 and thanks to Paige we had a perfect wedding on the beach with our reception in the Dunes. It was a destination wedding for us so Paige was incredible in helping us answer our questions. We moved and started two new jobs about 2 months prior to the wedding and I felt little stress while planning knowing that she was on the job. She also would go out of her way to make any ideas you have possible. We wanted a laid back affair and the venue was perfect for it. The venue has great options as far as decor/set up and they are continuing to expand their options. All staff members were very nice and any issues that occurred were handled appropriately. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about the wedding (and yes they would tell us the negatives if there were any). Food and drinks were fantastic. Also, Todd (Hotel Management), was fantastic in accommodating our families with the many length of stay changes that our family had. I felt like we were a little on the needy side but you would have never known with how the staff handled matters.

Paige at the Beach House was amazing. She made my destination wedding less stressful as far as the planning and was on top of everything. Our wedding was the best day ever. We got married on the beach.

We had a lot of problems in the beginning planning the wedding. However once the hotel brought Paige back she was amazing. Everything was great the only thing we could have wished for was more time to celebrate there.

Wonderful! I only have good things to say about everything! Paige was amazing. I'm someone who stresses out very easily and having her help was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. She is quick to respond, eager to please, and helpful with whatever you need. She's great at her job and I am so thankful she was able to help us. The venue speaks for itself. If you're looking for a beach wedding this is the place. We had the ceremony on the beach which was beautiful, and the reception in the dunes which was also amazing. Paige put everything together so beautifully. The first time I saw everything was the same time the guests saw everything and I couldn't be happier with how everything looked. It is worth every penny, and honestly on the cheaper side than most beach places we looked at. Food was great delicious. I couldn't ask for a better venue. And if the husband and I ever renew our vows I'm sure we would come back here to do it!

Honestly my wife and I were a little concerned about planning a destination wedding. We wanted our wedding to be a small laid back affair, on the beach, with our favorite people. We were so excited to have come across the Beach House. Paige and Margaret made sure our wedding was handled with just as much attention as they would give a 200 guest extravaganza even though we just had a party of 30. The venue was beautiful, we were just off the main boardwalk which was great accessibility for our family. Paige arranged the decor so that we were able to be in our own little world. The day had it's bumps in the road, as all weddings do, but the staff at the Beach House did not skip a beat coming to us with a solution every time. The food was great! They even made cherry ice cream so that we could toast with cherry floats! It was the one of the highlights of the night. Paige and her team gave these two middle aged moms the wedding of our dreams!

I loved my wedding this past weekend. Margaret was amazing and made this entire process so easy. We love out of state and she not only gave me a list of vendors but went to meeting for me when I was unable to attend. She is amazing and I can't say enough nice things about her. The staff at the hotel was amazing and so friendly. This was our second trip there and we are already planning on coming back at the end of the summer. If I could afford it I would get married again there just to have a reason to keep in contact with Margaret and the staff!

I had my wedding at this resort in July and I cannot say enough great things about our experience and the experience our guests had. Everything from checking in to checking out was a great experience. Planning my wedding from Ohio made me a little nervous but Margaret, the event planner, made sure that my wedding was exactly what I had envisioned down to the very last detail. She went above and beyond my expectations and was an absolute pleasure to work with. The staff at the rehearsal dinner and reception went above and beyond as well to make sure our guests had a fantastic time. Our guests had a blast and there is so much to do right on the property as well as near by. I would recommend The Beach House Resort to anyone looking to get married on the island. I would do it all again there and I wouldn't change one thing about my wedding. It was the best weekend of my life and I thank the Beach House for providing such a wonderful experience for not only myself and my husband but all of our guests as well. They are still talking about how much fun they had.

Our wedding was perfect at the Beach House. This was a destination wedding for us and we are so glad we chose this location. Margaret was excellent at coordinating all the details. Although our emails and phone calls were returned slowly, every question was answered and our wedding was absolutely perfect. The weather didn't exactly cooperate, but we were able to have the ceremony as planned in the sand and the reception was set up inside. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our day wonderful!

We got reservations from a Groupon deal- was about half the price it would regularly be. The resort was right on the beach and we got breakfast with our Groupon deal. Breakfast was so great and the service in the morning was fantastic, everyone was really friendly and available for us. The room was very clean and they cleaned it when we were out. There wasn't a microwave, but we DID have a mini fridge. Dining was expensive at the hotel and outside of the hotel. But we went to a fantastic nature reserve on the island where we found wild gators. We got bike rental from resort everyday. The one bike we had got a loose pedal and had to walk miles back with it, which was a disappointment. In all it was an experience and was nice. Maybe won't go again though. Just special for honeymoon.

The Beach House received such wonderful reviews from previous brides that I put them at the top of my list. Don't bother. The person with whom the other brides worked is no longer at the Beach House and her replacement is terrible. Emails and phone calls are rarely returned and requested information is missing half of what was requested. And this is during the estimate process!!

To put into words (PERFECT) thanks to our wedding coordinator (Tricia Beck) who made this event absolutely perfect from start to finish. We love her to death and she holds a place in our hearts forever and ever :-) xoxoxo

We had an amazing wedding at the Beach House, Holiday Inn Resort! We are from Ohio and planning a wedding so far away was scary at first, but the staff and the catering coordinator there were great! They worked within our budget and made sure our special day went off with out any issues. I highly suggest the Beach House!

MY WEDDING WAS 10/20/2012. WE CHOSE THE BEACH HOUSE & I'M SO GLAD WE DID. EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL! WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER PLACE FOR OUR VERY SPECIAL DAY! ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY COURTEOUS. THE ROOMS AND POOL WERE VERY NICE & CLEAN! TRISHA WAS THE THE MOST HELPFUL OF ALL. WE LIVE ALMOST 3 HOURS AWAY & CONTACTED MOSTLY BY EMAIL. SHE MADE EVERYTHING SO EASY. THE WEDDING AND RECEPTION WAS AMAZING! I CAN'T THANK HER ENOUGH FOR THE AWESOME JOB SHE DID. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! THE FOOD WAS SOME OF THE BEST WE EVER HAD. THE CAKE ( WOW ) IT WAS SO GOOD. THE DECORATIONS WERE AWESOME AS WELL!

I worked with the Holiday Inn staff for almost two years before we got married there on August 25, 2012. I started with Annette then when she retired I was placed into Tricia's very capable hands. I live in NY and could not travel to visit as frequently as other brides do to their wedding site. Tricia and staff emailed me pictures, described everything that was going on during their gorgeous renovation!! She was very quick to respond to any of my questions and concerns when it came to organizing the menu for the cocktail hour and reception! She phone conferenced with me several times as the wedding got closer, putting my mind at ease when it came to the venue. She contacted all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the right page when it came to the timeline for the day of our wedding. She didn't want me to worry at all the day before and the day of our wedding! She had everything under control and made the day such a pleasure to enjoy!! The entire ballroom was simply gorgeous with the setup and flowers that were put together... I may be bias but it was one of the most beautiful wedding setups I've ever seen! It truly took my breathe away!! The food was fantastic as well! My guests are still telling me about how much they enjoyed our wedding, including the food and cocktails that were delicious!! I had a few very "happy" party goers at the end of the night and the staff at the Holiday Inn were fantastic about getting them to their rooms or having them quite down so the rest of our guests could continue enjoy the rest of the night!! The only thing that was a slight bump in the road was having to order Ivory linens for the room. I was told that they are working to get the Ivory as an option for brides in the future. I had to rent the napkins, table cloths, and chair covers. My girls had to iron everything the morning of and place all the pieces on the table since it wasn't part of the Holiday Inn's stock. The pieces I rented were mailed to the Holiday Inn until they could be used for the wedding, Tricia was fantastic with having them mailed back without having me worry about any of it! I honestly cannot say there was anything wrong with the Holiday Inn. To any future bride... this is definitely the place to go!! I would get married again and again there!!
