We hired Beach Nights for our wedding on the Cape in the summer of 2026. They were our first vendor we booked! As Virginia Tech grads, we needed a live band that could play Enter...
Sandman for our crowd, and that is what led our initial search. I had heard of and seen Beach Nights around the Cape, Nantucket, and Boston for years - and when I heard them play Enter Sandman, we were sold immediately! They were the only band we considered, and we booked our venue date in correlation with Beach Nights' availability. Chris was fantastic working with us while we ironed out these initial details - looking at dates, and finally confirming plans. We worked with Chris and Christine throughout the year, and on wedding week, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. The Cape Cod weather was challenging on our wedding day, but Beach Nights adjusted and managed all our entertainment for the day without missing a beat. They even offered to coordinate our cocktail hour music (which we didn't plan for initially, but weather plans changed). Once the party started, the dance floor was the time of our lives!! Beach Nights let us coordinate our setlist (they can play it ALL). They gave us this freedom, and even let us add-in their fiddle player on the week of the wedding - which was one of our favorite decisions. The absolute best compliment we received over and over after the wedding from friends was: "I reached out to them for our wedding," or "I have to check their availability." Their presence and vibe was unreal. Beach Nights made our wedding reception unforgettable. They are second to none! Would hire them over and over again. Thank you all so much for everything!

Every single person who attended our wedding had incredible things to say about the bands performance. They rocked with us all night long. r wedding. We truly can’t say enough about how special they made our day—and how seamlessly they became a part of it.
From the start I knew our wedding was going to be different than the typical wedding and the band was up for the challenge and they nailed it from start to finish (literally being the last people with us till the end!)
Ceremony:
The ceremony was pure magic, thanks to the incredible acoustic setup. The sound was crystal clear and carried beautifully, making every word and note feel intimate and emotional. Beach Nights went above and beyond by learning custom songs for our processional. Their vocals were amazing! It set the tone for the entire day.
Cocktail Hour:
The music during cocktail hour was equally perfect. I put in backyard country BBQ and boy did DJ Christine nail it! We got many comments about how the music matched our cocktail hour vibe perfectly and made it exactly the vibe we wanted.
Reception:
DJ Christine handled dinner music and introductions with total professionalism and style. She was so easy to work with, especially when I (the bride) made a few last-minute changes in the moment. She was accommodating, calm, and executed everything flawlessly. The transitions between dinner and dancing were seamless, and the energy just kept building.
The Band – Beach Nights:
Unbelievable. That’s the only word for it. From the first song, the dance floor was packed—and it never emptied. The crowd was electric. Even during the band's short breaks, DJ Christine kept the momentum alive so there wasn’t a single lull. People were dancing the entire night. It truly felt like a private concert, and the band didn’t just play at the wedding, they became a part of it.
They were wildly interactive, fun, and insanely talented. They even (bravely!) let us sing a song with them, something we’ll never forget and im sure they wont either 😊. It’s rare to find a band that brings this level of skill but also has that magical, connective energy with a crowd. They weren't just vendors they really felt like part of the celebration. Our guests are still raving about the music and the all night dance party.
If you're looking for a band and DJ that will transform your wedding into an unforgettable experience, you cannot go wrong with Beach Nights and DJ Christine. They were professional, talented, fun, flexible, and brought so much heart to the day. They handled so many things for us that was never on our mind. They were extremely communicative. They even experienced and joined in for our weird traditions (rocking the boat).

At first, we were debating between DJ and band due to cost. I can't stress enough how Beach Nights was worth every penny and we have zero regrets. Chris was the absolute best to work with. Honestly, Beach Nights is a must-hire for any couple looking for a great time. Chris was so great at communicating and making sure everything we wanted was provided for. The band even welcomed the groom with open arms to sit in on the drums at the wedding - and even to rehearse the song with them at a bar in the Fenway neighborhood a month beforehand. We could not have been more happy with the the entire process! Can't wait to see them play at a Boston-area bar again soon!

on at a bar in Boston. Upon meeting Chris, and hearing them play some of our favorite songs (even playing songs we requested on the spot) we knew they would be the perfect fit for our wedding night.
Leading up to our wedding, working with Beach Nights was a breeze and one of the easiest and most fun parts of the wedding planning process. The band has a wide range of songs they can play and even learn upon request. They organize their setlist based on your preferences and highlight the ones they know and play best which we highly recommend taking the band's advice on because they really know what plays best. Chris also coordinated with us to have family members not only sing a song but even allow a cousin to plug in his own guitar and rock out with the band!
On our wedding night, Beach Nights kept the dance floor packed, lively, and most importantly made it fun for our guests of all ages. We did not leave the dance floor once and were sad when the night came to a close. Our family and friends could not stop reminiscing on the dancing and how good Beach Nights played.
If there is one thing to take away from this review it's that if Beach Nights is available on your wedding date, look no further and book them on the spot before someone else does!

k with. When we saw them out in Boston before we booked, we immediately felt like we were their priority. Chris was always an email or text message away and quick to answer any and every question we had. Not needing to worry about their travel arrangements or other hidden costs was a huge plus as well. In the final months leading up to the wedding, the detailed questionnaire they sent and planning phone calls made us feel incredibly confident in handing over the timeline of our reception to them. The ceremony music was timed perfectly by our DJ Christine. On the morning of the event, Chris and Paul worked with my sister behind the scenes to play a surprise recorded toast from my grandmother who couldn't be there and brought the whole room to tears. It was an incredibly special moment that they helped make possible! When it comes to the party, they kept the dance floor packed all night. Not only did we have the best time dancing the night away, getting on stage with the tambourines, and singing Noah Kahn at the top of our lungs, but several of our guests have reached out to us since to say how much fun the band was. We cannot thank Chris & the whole Beach Nights Team enough for all they did to execute our day perfectly. It was the easiest and best decision we made in wedding planning!

st weekend in Nantucket, MA. I recently earned my Doctorate in Educational Leadership and finished 27 years of continuous graduate education. From day one of me connecting with Chris, he and this band, were ALL IN. Chris was incredibly timely and responsive to all of my questions, had an established relationship with the venue I chose and provided reassurances that my night would be everything I wanted it to be. THEY DELIVERED! As part of my package I integrated the Photo Booth and what an amazing addition it was to capture the fun and excitement of the night. I knew I wouldn't have the chance to take pictures with every guest and am thrilled with the quality of the pictures! Guests had the option to text or email the photos to themselves and I received a link with all of my photos. There were many people at my event who I didn't know because the venue was open to the public. I received emails from people who were at my event sharing how much they enjoyed being there because of the band! My event ended at 1 am and by 9 pm the next day I had the link which had edited pictures, thanks to Chris. It will literally take weeks to get through them!
While I know that this is a site that couples use to find vendors for their weddings, I'm sharing my review because, like a wedding, the party for which I hired Beach Nights was more than just a graduation party. This band makes a connection with their clients AND when they perform they are engaging, energetic and have a wide range of music to offer your guests.
A wedding and the celebration that follows always starts with the vision that a couple has for what they want for themselves and their guests. The party for which I hired Beach Nights was similar in that I started with a vision. The gratitude I have for the efforts this band made in making my vision become a reality is immeasurable. You will absolutely not regret hiring this band!

he first to respond and by far the most excited to be a part of our day. He invited us to their show that weekend, and we sang and danced our hearts out. The whole crew met us for drinks afterward. The entire experience was personal and comfortable, like hanging out with old friends, and the show was first class.
After a long two years of planning, we couldn’t wait for our friends and family to experience Beach Nights. Frankly, they stole the show. They fielded and facilitated our non-traditional and somewhat outrageous schedule with ease. They curated a more than perfect set list and their counterpart, DJ Christine, absolutely killed it between sets. The dance floor literally NEVER died.
We are beyond grateful for the time, love, energy, and friendship that this band has given us over the years and feel so fortunate that they were there to celebrate with us and lead the party. They are top notch musicians and true masters at their craft.

On the wedding day all of the band members were professional, energetic and happy. Our venue also commented that the band was wonderful to work with during coordination of the event.
During the reception, they followed all of our special requests. They kept the energy up in the reception the whole night. Not one person was sitting down, everyone was singing and dancing. One of our guests commented that the band members looked like they were having just as much fun as we were. We have never been to a wedding where everyone was on the dance floor all night. They played the perfect blend of 90's-2000's music. They also engaged me and my husband in the songs which was highlight for us. All of the members have exceptional musical talent. It felt like a pop/rock concert instead of a typical wedding.
We also used Beach Nights for our ceremony. We highly recommend adding this onto your package. Their guitarists played our ceremony music even better than the recordings online. It added a very special experience to our ceremony.

Not only did we have similar vibes and taste in music, but the entire Beach Nights crew was genuinely invested in our love story from the beginning, which is an incredibly special feeling. They made us feel like complete VIPs and helped us plan every detail for 2 years! Then when the day finally came, it was whatever is better than PERFECT.
And I’ll say from personal experience of attending 30+ weddings and now having my own, live music is must… and this is who you want—nope this is who you need. Chris, Vicky, Paul, Tom, and Scott are some of the most talented musicians I’ve ever seen, and I feel so so lucky we crossed paths.
We had so many elements and surprises going into our day, and they nailed every single one. Not to mention the dance floor was completely packed the entire night. Their set list seriously cannot be beat.
I also sang with my dad instead of doing a father daughter dance, and they were so helpful and accommodating. Then we gave my sister and brother in law their first dance they never got to have and again they were SO accommodating. Their infectious energy and enthusiasm had everyone up on their feet and having a great time. We received countless compliments about the band throughout the night and even after the wedding.

We had so much fun curating the setlist from their vast catalog of songs – many of them being our favorites from both growing up and from now. Eveerrryone was dancing, even my 90 year old uncle! And most of us didn’t stop until the party was over! When the band took breaks, the DJ would step in to keep the energy up and the party going. Still, to this day almost 6 months later, the first thing anyone that attended the wedding talks about was how amazing the band was, and we couldn't agree more!
Chris was great to work with, as he was super responsive and helpful throughout the process and excited to do so. The band even lent us their microphone for the ceremony when we had technical difficulties – life saver!

hey loved that they were a super fun rock band and NOT a typical cheesy wedding band! In fact... half of my friends now go to see them around Boston when they perform because they had that much fun at our wedding! :) They had everyone up and dancing all night and really made me and my husband feel special by inviting us up with them, we honestly had a blast! They are all such great humans and we had a blast partying with them! Chris was super easy to work with all during the planning process which involved numerous rescheduled dates due to COVID. We couldn't have asked for a better band and better people to make our wedding a blast, and we are definitely looking forward to seeing them at other shows around the city... and hopefully at other friends weddings ;)

My fiancée and I definitely knew what we were looking for and what we were not looking for when talking to bands – after the first time speaking with Chris, it was clear that Beach Nights was the band for us. Chris is so informative, easy going, and will make sure everything is completely under control, so you don’t have to on your day. After seeing all of their reviews and performances, we knew we had to have them and booked them immediately (best thing we ever did)! Since the beginning of our wedding planning, we have felt well taken care of and they truly listened to every single request (BIG and SMALL)! The highlight was when I requested they play 'Love Shack,' as that is my power karaoke jam. Not only did they learn the song for me, but invited me up on stage so I could rock out at my own wedding!!! BEST DAY EVER and it's all due to Beach Nights!!! We can not thank them enough!!!!!

nd I went to check them out on St. Patty's day 2016, we knew on the spot they would be a perfect fit for our Cape Cod wedding. Planning with Chris was honestly one of my favorite memories from the entire wedding planning process - he was familiar with the unique layout of our venue, respected my concern of wanting to appeal to all of the age ranges of the guests (and delivered on!), and he was professionalism while still being beyond approachable. I loved that they gave us free reign of song selection while still guiding us on what works well for a wedding set list/DJ combo - I could go on and on! We spent our engagement following them around Boston and formed a great friendship with the guys - I got emotional when I first saw them as I walked through the reception space for the first time. Our wedding day would not have been the dream it was without Beach Nights!
