Beachcomber Resort

We celebrated our Beach wedding at the Beachcomber on April 30th and were extremely pleased with the care and professionalism in which Arielle Segall and Lynn of food and beverage handled our special celebration! These ladies personally and diligently saw to every single detail with the utmost care and attention and we were over the top pleased with thier hard work. The food was delicious and the entire staff carried out their duties with kindness, enthusiasm and attentiveness. We can't thank them enough for their efforts. We will be glad to recommend your facilities to anyone who is interested in celebrating a special event at the Beachcomber, and have already made reservations to celebrate our anniversary at the resort next year!

I had a destination wedding so we were able to do everything over the phone, and email.. But the lady in charge was not the best communicator she wouldn't call back for a few days to a week, and would take forever to respond to an email..and I couldn't ask anyone else bc she was the only one who knew the answers, i even asked the manager of the whole place and they had no idea about anything.. I thought about cancelling it, but I flew down and really fell in love with the space the ceremony would take place, and it was cheaper than all the other places I looked at, and I didn't have to pay extra to have it on the beach, BC they owned it.. they say for the ceremony if you have 10 rooms booked its 641 for just the ceremony which is what I did.. But if we didn't get 10 rooms the cost double..I asked for a contract where it says that and all the other rules, and they told me they did not have a contract just a save the date form, and they just had a form which said you couldnt use glitter, or bird seed, or confetti but i asked a few things and they said no but it didnt specify on the page so that paper didnt even matter anyway.. and most places give the bride and groom a free night at the hotel this place didnt, the room was the best part minus the price..but it was what I wanted.. and they want to know 3 days ahead of time if you want to have it outside or inside, and being in Florida you never know the weather bc it usually rains everyday for a little bit.. I asked if I could let them now the day of and they said no.. if I had to do it all over again I would have chosen another place to have the ceremony.

The idea of being married out on the Beach is nice but I didn't like the actual hotel itself!

My family and friends wanted to stay longer. Serene ocean side rooms, great pool, elegant restaurant and excellent service are just a few of the pluses. Great rates for wedding groups.
