We used Beachside Occasions for our beachfront wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. They created a setup for our special day that exceeded anything we could have ...
ever dreamed of. The arbor was absolutely stunning, and the arrangement of the chairs and aisle was nothing short of perfection.
Maggie was a complete gem to work with. She answered all of our questions with grace and patience, guiding us through the process since this was our first wedding and we had no experience with the unique details of a beach wedding. Her expertise and calm demeanor made everything so much easier for us.
On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Maggie arrived with Jeff and Shane, introduced themselves, and got right to work setting up the most magical ceremony space imaginable—it truly looked like it belonged in a magazine. After the ceremony, while we were enjoying cocktail hour, the three of them seamlessly and efficiently disassembled everything without us even noticing. It was as if the magic had appeared and disappeared effortlessly.
We cannot recommend Beachside Occasions enough. If you’re looking to get married on the beach, this team is everything you could hope for and more. Thank you, Maggie, Jeff, and Shane, for making our wedding day unforgettable!
From the start of the process to the end of the wedding, Paul & Katherine were in constant communication with us helping us through the process. They made sure that our dream & our...
vision for the ceremony was exactly what we wanted. It was absolutely beautiful.
The day of, they were on time with completing the set-up on the beach (and made sure nobody was overcrowding us near the beach). The rehearsal was extremely well done because Katherine was there to go over everything and made sure everybody knew their roles.
Overall, our experience with them was amazing and we could not have asked for a better beach wedding. All thanks to them!!
Paul and Kathrine were great to work with throughout the wedding planning process. Unfortunately, due to the Hurricane, our beach wedding was canceled so we did not get to see what...
I'm sure would've been an amazing set up. They were very accommodating during the stressful few days before the hurricane and they were so beyond generous to give an "act of God" refund when we were told that our wedding could not happen. I would highly recommend working with Beachside Occasions.
If you’re looking to do an outdoor ceremony I highly recommend you book your ceremony at least through Paul and his wife Katherine. Not only do they provide reasonable pricing, the...
y set up and tear down all their equipment and supplies. They also act as a coordinator and officiant should you need one. They’re also well-versed in the Wilmington area so they have connections to find you what you need. I worked with them while I was deployed and was able to plan a wedding from half a world away without a care. I didn’t even have to worry about weather being a potential issue because they had connections to help get that covered the morning of if need be. They also make sure your photographer has access to the best shots and keep you segregated from guests after to facilitate family photos. Highly recommend them .

I say that the setup and coordinating was exactly as the website depicted, I mean it! From the seashells to the parasols -- everything was just perfect! The staff was friendly, professional, and extremely personable. They made all of us in the wedding party feel special and made sure the day was magical. I've been to plenty of weddings and this is easily my top!
Beachside Occasions was really amazing! As an out of town bride there were lots of concerns that came up but Karen and Paul made sure to promptly answer our questions. Luckily we g...
ot a chance to meet with Karen a month before the ceremony and that completely eased our fears. Everything turned our so beautiful and was more than we could have ever imagined. Karen and her team are small but mighty. They made sure that everyone was there in a timely manner and helped with crowd control. They even drove my aunt on to the beach so she would have to walk far after a knee surgery. Things like that really make you feel like you are not only a client but a friend. Thank you for everything and making our day so special!!
Paul and Katherine at Beachside Occassions are excellent! We hired them to provide officiant services and beach side set up. We had a small wedding (less than 50 guests) and chos...
e the small pavilion package. Paul met with is in person before we hired them because I wanted to meet the person who would perform our ceremony before signing a contract. We immediately felt at ease with Paul. They arrived on time, set up was exactly as described, ceremony was seamless, and take down was quick. I highly recommend them!
