As the mother of the groom, I was fortunate to have my now daughter-in-law ask me for my opinions for her wedding and reception. When I met Alexa, from Beacon & Berkley Events, at our first planning meeting, I knew we were in very capable hands. Her calm, professional demeanor and genuine desire to give Allie and David the wedding they wanted was evident. She got to work quickly, as they only had about 4 months to plan. From the custom color invitations to the joyous reception, she thought of everything. The event was perfect in every way, and I give Alexa and her team the bulk of the credit for ensuring that happened.

So grateful to have Beacon & Berkeley for our wedding! Alexa was an amazing source of support and guidance during our wedding planning process and an absolute dream for day-of coordination. She quickly and confidently answered any questions I had in the months leading up to the wedding and helped me build a smooth schedule around her timeline template. As the big day got closer, it was super helpful to have her in contact with all of my vendors as things were getting finalized, and on the day itself, I was not stressed at all as she handled all vendors and timeline details with grace and care. I can't imagine how frazzled I would've been without her assistance on that day. She not only had me feel more prepared for the day but also more excited for it. Alexa was incredibly helpful and professional during the planning process which gave me full confidence that the day would go off without a hitch, largely because of her (and it was a flawless day!).

Alexa is a ray of positivity and a creative organizational queen! Our wedding was a dream, thanks to Beacon & Berkeley. If you want a group who can keep you on track, run with your unique ideas, handle any curveball, organize your other vendors, wrangle your wedding party, be your constant hype woman AND give you the wedding of your dreams - B&B is it!! I can't thank Alexa and Amanda enough for our absolutely perfect day. We got married in the heart of crazy Washington D.C. but my husband and I constantly felt at ease knowing we were in such great hands. Communication is key and Alexa was so quick to respond to any question, no matter the time of day. She also made it a big point to always remind us that our wedding day was to celebrate our love and to focus on what made us special as a couple. It was such a fun, enjoyable experience working with Beacon & Berkeley!

Amanda could not have better a better partner for our big day. From moving everything seamlessly during the pandemic, to picking out the sweetest details for our decor, to pivoting last minute to account for rain, she made sure our wedding was everything we wanted and more. As someone who has a hard time giving up control, turning over the reins to someone was a little scary - but Amanda made me feel comfortable the entire time, and I couldn't have handled the wedding without her. Hiring B&B was the best wedding decision I made after saying "yes". Couldn't recommend more!

I couldn’t recommend Amanda and Beacon & Berkeley Events any more!! We had such an incredible experience working with her! We started working with Amanda pre-pandemic. Amanda and her team were extremely helpful and supportive through the entire process of moving our October 2020 wedding to October 2021. This included helping us identify some new vendors, change all logistics, and update our contracts. Amanda is extremely detail oriented and has an incredible eye for design!! She was able to come up with design ideas for all aspects of our wedding which were just incredible!! From small details in our invites and RSVP cards to our table settings and tent decor, Amanda’s design was absolutely stunning!!! Overall Amanda is just incredible to work with and I would highly highly recommend her to plan your wedding!!

Without Beacon & Berkeley, I don't think we would have been able to have the amazing wedding that we did! I had so many (quirky) questions when I first met with Amanda and she answered all my questions with so much confidence, and also asked us questions that did not even think of yet. When we left our first meeting, I knew immediately that Amanda and her team were necessary. I can honestly say that I surprised myself on how calm I was for the big day (with a few minor meltdowns due to COVID, but who wouldn't?). This was all because of Amanda and her team. Amanda went above and beyond to make sure that both me and my husband were having the best day ever. I can't say enough good things about Amanda and her team. From the morning of, to ensuring I stayed hydrated, family coordination and making sure the reception was above and beyond. I will think of another event just to work with Amanda and her team again!

That very first meeting with Beacon & Berkeley instilled in me all the confidence in the world that they were going to plan the perfect wedding with the least amount of stress. Little did we know that Covid-19 was going to throw quite the wrench (maybe a sledge hammer) into our plans but, even faced with these unprecedented challenges, thanks to Beacon & Berkeley, and their graceful transitions from plan 1.0 to 2.0... to 3.0... I did have the perfect wedding. I am the luckiest bride to have worked with Amanda and her team at Beacon & Berkeley. They went above and beyond in every way! And now our wedding is over and I miss planning with them. Over 10 out of 10 stars!

Amanda and her team are so personable, sincere, creative and thoughtful. They actually take the stress out of wedding planning and make it fun. They turned my ideas into a reality on my wedding day and I appreciated the special touches that they added to make our wedding unique and personalized for our family. I would HIGHLY recommend Beacon & Berkeley to plan your wedding. I would choose them again in a heartbeat!

Amanda and her team are truly amazing!! I truly cannot recommend them enough. First, everything was gorgeous. I knew it would be because I had seen pictures of Amanda’s events, but I was blown away by how it all came together. She has incredible attention to detail and an ability to pull everything together in a cohesive, creative way. More importantly, she was invaluable during the planning process. Both in terms of her in-depth knowledge of the wedding industry – she thinks of everything! – but also her personality. I tend to be a bit indecisive (definitely not what you want during wedding planning), and she was incredibly patient in talking through the pros and cons of various decisions. She and her team also have also built relationships with vendors that are both excellent at what they do and just generally lovely people to be around. We really loved everyone we worked with for the wedding. Our whole weekend was a dream, and they truly thought of every detail. (For example, when my bustle broke during cocktail hour, they magically appeared behind me and sewed it back together!) We loved our wedding, and it really is due to Amanda and her team. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Amanda and her team are amazing! Simply put our wedding would not have happened without them. As soon as I mentioned Amanda's name to my other vendors they all said 'Oh we love working with them' - I am a control freak and the Beacon & Berkley ladies put all my concerns to rest and I actually got to enjoy my wedding day. We had our fair share of wedding day craziness and they were poised and prepared for everything that got thrown at us. This includes getting blood out of my wedding dress five minutes before walking down the isle and a reception venue being underprepared and disorganized. I do not have the right words to express how wonderful these Women are, but I can promise you, you will not regret choosing Beacon & Berkley.
