We had super great experience with DJ Beam! He came recommended to us by a few friends who also worked with Brian for their weddings. Aside from being a fantastic DJ, Brian is very professional, calm, friendly, and kind- the type of traits that really helped ease some of the wedding planning stress, which we greatly appreciated! Brian was always good at responding quickly and open to chatting on a call if needed. He seemed to work very well with our other vendors, especially our coordinator! Managing the flow and the energy of the night was something I was really stressed about, but seeing Brian in action during the wedding, I knew I didn't have to worry at all- he maintained the vibes effortlessly the whole way through. As a Type-A bride, I really appreciated that he kept to the playlist and specific song instructions I provided, but I also loved how he organized and transitioned the songs. He has a tasteful, creative ear for that! What we really needed in a DJ was someone who would respect our vision but also be able to lead the night with confidence and clarity, as well as employ their own creative spin on the music- all of which DJ Beam embodied! And just being a pleasant person to work with was a huge plus- very reassuring and open to making sure we put together the event of our dreams. We also chose the lighting premium add on which was totally worth it! I told Brian I wanted to feel like we were dancing in a club, and lighting tech, Joey absolutely delivered! It was awesome and helped make the reception feel like an immersive experience.

We had a small intimate wedding with about 45 people, which for us, gave us some nerves thinking what if nobody wants to dance or what could that look like with such a small wedding party already. Let me tell you, he read the room, and DELIVERED. From my 72 year old Grandpop, to our little nieces and nephews under 10 years old, to our parents, EVERYONE was on that dance floor until our wedding was over! He kept it classy, fun, and exciting with his song choices. He read the room pairing his songs for those intimate moments and turned it up a notch when it was the time to! We are so thankful for him and his professionalism and his outgoing personality. He really knocked it out of the park and still, he is the talk of being one of the BEST parts to our day that we ALL continue to rave about. t of artists that were banned from being played, and he respected that. We sent a list of song requests beforehand, and he played every single song in addition to other songs that perfectly fit our millennial wedding vibe. He even started a soul train line! I can't remember the last time I participated in one of those, but A TIME WAS HAD! Towards the end of our wedding the guest count dwindled so I had decided not to do a grand exit but he convinced me to do it anyway. And I am glad he did. It really was a perfect ending to such a magical day. He even recorded and edited a video of our grand exit - which I had no idea he was going to do. I am so thankful that he was our DJ because without him, we probably wouldn't have done the grand exit which turned out to be one of my favorite memories from the entire day. Book this guy for your next event - you won't regret it.

perfectly playing all cues and making it a complete seamless event. And then moving onto the reception, he was an excellent Emcee introducing us, and hyping up our crowd before and after dinner. The guests loved his music, and he was able to accommodate so many requests and also played mixes of his own.
