During our wedding planning process, I had to convince my husband that a videographer was an essential vendor, not an add-on, and now that he has seen our videos, he totally gets it. A video captures your day in a way a photo just can't, and Josh and his team are truly artists in their craft. They were an absolutely joy to work with and blended seamlessly into our wedding day - I never felt uncomfortable or like the cameras were instrusive. I honestly haven't stopped sobbing since I've received my wedding recap video, and having the footage of our ceremony, speeches, special dances, ketubah signing and cake cutting is seriously priceless. We hired Bear In Motion for our daughter’s wedding this past June, and I can’t begin to tell you what a great decision that was! Josh and Rob were beyond a pleasure to work with. They are incredibly kind and just lovely to have around! Watching the video we’re all amazed at the footage they were able to get without our even noticing they were there. They were involved and engaging without ever being intrusive. They got along so well with our other vendors, and they lent an air of calmness to a day that has the potential to feel anything but if you’re not surrounded by the right people. We couldn’t have been happier with the final product. It so captured our daughter and son in law! Beautiful video from start to finish. One of the best wedding decisions we made!

Where do I even begin? If you're debating hiring a videographer for your wedding, DO IT. And if you are hiring one, make sure it's Bear In Motion. My husband, James, and I are very into videography and photography so these were two of the most important vendors for us when it came to wedding planning. We already knew who we wanted for photo and asked her opinion on a videographer. She recommended Bear In Motion, hands-down. While we know everyone has their own style, it was super important to us that we had a more "unique" style of video that really showcased who we are as a couple and catered to us being a bit awkward in front of the camera. Josh and his brother Rob are magic and create magic. We had meetings on the phone leading up to the wedding and after every conversation, we just felt more and more at peace. Josh was patient, always wanted our thoughts and visions, and would help us with logistics and other things we didn't necessarily think of. We also really liked the questionnaire that we filled out in advance because it helped us think about what aspects of the day were the most important. When the day of the wedding came, it was actually the first time we met Josh and Rob. Somehow, it felt like we were meeting up with friends we'd known for years. Again, we are awkward people and not always comfortable in front of the camera doing the forced, standard wedding video shots. They were totally understanding and catered the entire day to making us feel good. Plus, the dynamic of having a photographer and videographer who have already worked weddings together made the day feel effortless. We couldn't stop smiling and laughing and guess what... it made our video feel SO genuine and beautiful. I also want to say that BIM was super accommodating when it came to choosing a package (and ultimately deciding to upgrade after the wedding). In terms of the video itself, we were left speechless and crying many happy tears. It was delivered in what felt like a super timely manner and oh my god, to see the day unfold again and see so many details was truly incredible. We felt that Josh and Rob totally exceeded our expectations and our expectations were HIGH. It was the perfect mix of emotions, showing the venue/details, the speeches and ceremony and the overall "vibe" of the day. We have rewatched it so many times and we are endlessly grateful that years from now, we'll always have this video to help us remember. James and I cannot recommend Bear in Motion enough if you are looking for a wedding videographer. They are professional, kind, patient, caring, and super freaking fun. We came out of our wedding with some new friends and are grateful that Josh and Rob created a masterpiece to encapsulate the magic of our wedding day. I promise, when you put so much planning into one day/event, it will pass by quickly. Having an extremely high quality video is going to make you so happy you hired Bear In Motion!!

This is a LONG over due review for what was easily one of the best decisions we made when it came to wedding planning. From start to finish, Josh and his crew were INCREDIBLE to work with. They were extremely professional, prepared, organized, and so unbelievably kind to everyone they came in contact with at the wedding. The way they captured our day so perfectly still blows our minds every time we watch back our video package. In addition to the talent of this team, they helped to ensure that our day ran smoothly by calming us and jumping in to help with anything and everything regardless of whether or not it had to do with videography. I don't even know where to start. We were recommended Bear in Motion by our good friends (we have multiple friends who have worked with Josh and the amazing Bear in Motion crew). We started with some really friendly emails and then had a Facetime call and we hit it off immediately. As this was one of our biggest investments we were unsure at first if we would want a videographer, and everyone else we had contacted did not make us feel we should make the commitment. But after just a few minutes on Facetime with Josh, we knew we couldn't say no. He was so passionate about his work and cared so much for us. So we booked them. Well.... COVID struck and we were so worried about rebooking our vendors and he was so flexible understanding, and reassuring the whole time we were not only relieved but once again reassured that we had made the right choice. They were so generous with accomodating our schedule and went above and beyond anything we expected. On the day of I woke up very hungover and was not feeling great, but when Bear in Motion got there they completely changed my mood around, it felt like they were long-lost friends that were just a part of our day celebrating with us. I felt the love from the entire team and I couldn't recommend these videographers enough. I honestly have already started brainstorming what we could celebrate next so we can hire them again. I read another review on here that questioned Bear in Motion's integrity and passion, it made me so sad because they were the complete opposite of anything that was said. They were so kind, made sure our day was amazing and helped my husband and me have the most amazing day of our lives. We recently got our films and what an emotional rollercoaster of love and happiness we felt. My husband and I watched it twice. We cried happy tears and were just so validated in our choice to have chosen Josh and Bear in Motion. It was so nice to have these moments captured to share and watch each year. One last thing that I have to mention is that Josh and the team were not just our videographers they practically helped us schedule the entire day and let us know what to expect just based on their own experiences including giving us time frames, helping with the DJ and so much more. They really provided us with so much more than just a videography service but so much more you don't even think about going into a wedding day and it was beyond helpful and generous. I could cry just thinking how much they became a part of this amazing day. I honestly had SO much fun with Josh and I am SO happy and blessed we were recommended Bear in Motion. I seriously can't recommend Josh or the team enough. If you are here looking for a videographer, I promise you have just found them.

I booked Josh and Bear in Motion only a few weeks before my wedding. I couldn't decide if I wanted to spend the money on a videographer, but I am so thrilled I did. The video footage was delivered and it was like reliving my wedding day all over again. He included so many details and his style made our wedding look like it was out of a movie. All of my friends and family raved about the video and how it was the best wedding video they had ever seen. Josh made sure to set up a Facetime meeting with me and my photographer prior to the wedding to settle all of the fine details to make sure the day would run as smooth as possible. When Josh and his team arrived, they were prompt, professional, and fun. He worked so well with all of my other vendors to ensure everybody could do their job with ease. Do not look any further. Josh and his team are the absolute best!

Josh from bear in motion was nothing short of absolutely amazing!! From the day we booked their company, they were extremely responsive and helpful during the entire covid pandemic and having to postpone our wedding. He was accommodating, polite and very easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, josh and his crew made sure to capture every special moment of the day. They were punctual, personable, and made the day stress free for me and my husband. We received our video in a few short weeks and it was even better than we were hoping for! We can't wait to one day show our kids our wedding video and cry all of the tears watching it over and over again. In my opinion, your wedding video is one of the most important ways to capture your special day and there is no one else I would trust with this job! I would choose bear in motion again and again!

Josh and team were amazing. We weren’t 100% sure we wanted to hire a videographer but we are so glad we did. Josh went out of his way to host multiple calls with me to make sure we were a good fit and was so incredibly nice and professional to work with. The day of Josh and his team captured all of our moments including things I didn’t realize (DRONE FOOTAGE!!!!) and our final trailer and documentary footage was amazing. I sobbed the whole time watching it as it brought back so much and I got to see so much that I had missed. I cannot recommend them enough! Incredible team and incredible work. Definitely a memory we will be able to treasure for a long time.

Oh my goodness!!! I knew Josh's work was special when I stumbled upon the Bear In Motion website 30 days before my wedding- but special isn't a good description. Josh's work is magical! His attention to detail, kind nature, and his passion deserves more than I can put into words. Josh and his brother Rob were so accommodating during such a stressful time due to COVID. Josh was quick to respond to all my questions, we spoke many times over the phone and via email to come up with a day of plan that was executed flawlessly! I am so obsessed with my highlight video!! It is worth every penny knowing we have such a beautiful video to look back on. Bravo, Bear in Motion!!

Josh and his entire team went above and beyond to make our wedding day special! From our first communication, Josh was attentive, caring, and excited for us. When we had concerns about COVID he set up a call with us immediately and alleviated any fears we had. We have and will continue to recommend him to everyone that will listen!

His videos are lovely but the way he conducts business is awful. I chatted with lots of videographers and he was by far the least responsive and the most SELF-INTERSTED. Josh clearly looks out for his money above all else. I own a healthy business and treat my clients like gold. His super strict contracts, compared to all other ones I’ve seen, reflect his priorities, which is especially unsettling in the time of COVID, when we could all use care and understanding. Be careful, everyone.

Josh and his team were fantastic! We were so happy with our video and it is something that we continue to watch to this day. The team was so easy to work with and Josh made sure that all of our special moments were captured, both in our trailer and as separate clips. Bear In Motion is a PERFECT choice for your special day...highly recommended!!

We absolutely love our wedding film! It is such a great momentum to have from our special day. We are so thankful to Josh and his team for all their hard work!! We also love that we have our entire ceremony, introductions, first dances, and speeches to look back on forever. Highly recommend!!

If we could give Bear-in-Motion (BIM) 100 stars, we most definitely would. They just made everything so easy and flawless, and the final product was unbelievable. There is so much to say about them, though we wanted to share just one moment that captures the team's greatest trait and gives BIM the ability to film and produce great content; empathy. As in most wedding days, our schedule got pushed back by ~30 minutes. We had a special dance (Zorba Dance) that we definitely wanted recorded, though with the delay, the dance wouldn't make it in the video, since we only had BIM until 9:30pm. Despite that, I asked Josh on the spot at 9:00pm if he would be willing to stay an extra 30-45 minutes past 9:30pm to record it, and with the biggest smile on his face, he said absolutely, and ended up staying free of charge. Our experience with other vendors was not the same. This simple moment shows BIM's unique ability to walk in the wedded couple's shoes and do the best job because they understand the significance of capturing the special day to the couple. This sort of empathy and human connection is easy to lose when you record tens of weddings per year. BIM still got it! Thank you so much. Josh and the entire Bear in Motion team helped us capture our engagement and wedding in the most epic way! They were kind and fun to work with, and made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot. They went above and beyond for our wedding video, creating a beautiful documentary of the day. Some of my favorite and happiest memories from our engagement and wedding are working with Josh and his team! I would work with them again in a heartbeat.
