I don't even know where to begin. WOW. Chelsea instantly felt like a friend, personalizing every exchange and showing genuine interest. We still talk and its 10 months later. I was...
in town for something else and unexpectedly discovered the venue. I requested to visit and less than 24 hours later their was a "Welcome Krystina" sign ...where else do you see that responsiveness, care, and effort on details. In that moment I knew this was going to be our venue! Chelsea kept in constant communication, and since we lived three hours away, provided us with a list of trusted vendors. We got married during a pandemic and I never once had to ask for status updates, Chelsea was always one step ahead. When there was concern over the limits of attendees and an additional tent was suggested, I expressed concern over the increase in cost and she worked with us to problem solve. "This is what I'm here for, we will make it work"...the words of an angel. The whole staff was friendly, the site is BEAUTIFUL! The men enjoyed reduced rate golfing on an exceptional course. Chelsea was 8 months pregnant and still a ROCK STAR. Everyone raved about the food, the set up, and the sunset. I'm so thankful we "stumbled" upon the Bear Trap Dunes for our happily ever after.

We can't even begin to thank everyone at Bear Trap Dunes enough for giving us the wedding weekend of our dreams. From the day we first took a tour and met Lindsay we knew it would ...
be the perfect place for us! Erin was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond for us with every detail to make our day perfect! Going through the planning process seemed effortless, any idea we had they made it happen for us. The venue was beautiful in their newly renovated room. We chose to add the tent which was beautifully strung with lights and it connected to our reception room to make one big party! We had planned on having our ceremony outside at The Bear Trap Dunes however it did rain (for only the time of the ceremony) and the staff was amazing to help us move the ceremony into the tent! Our guests also stayed at many of the condo rentals in the community which made it feel like a weekend getaway! The scenery from the patio allowed us to have the most beautiful wedding photos! Everything was picture perfect! They also allowed us to have our golden retriever Sadie to be our flower girl and walk down the isle with everyone! Throughout this process everyone we came in contact with at The Bear Trap Dunes made us feel so welcome and seemed so genuinely excited for us! Erin- you are a blessing and we can't thank you enough! Thank you so much to the Staff at Bear Trap Dunes you truly made us feel like we were apart of the family there!

e best part was the golf course for the guys and only 10 minutes from the beach for shopping, spas and sand/sun for the ladies! We made a weekend out of it and friends rented homes in the neighborhood for the weekend--inexpensive for them and when everyone arrived on Friday night, there was no driving from place to place--just relaxing, eating, drinking and enjoying the weekend! I would highly recommend it to anyone!
