Iv been a huge fan of BearFight for many years. I have often seen them in Boston at bars on weekends, and also have been to a few acoustic nights by Chris, the lead singer. Every single time, at the end of each night, I left sweaty and with sore feet! They never play a bad song ! You just can’t stop dancing. I knew when I got engaged that I couldn’t imagine having the biggest party of my life without them there. People are coming up to me 3 weeks later saying how much fun they had at our wedding. I can’t recommend this group enough. From the band to the dj... cocktail hour to end of night (which we ended up extending) everything was perfect.

When we started dating in 2013 we knew we had to have Bear Fight play at our wedding!!! Here we are in 2019 and they absolutely continue to blow us away! Chris, Paul, Alex and the entire crew were professional, fun and were the highlight of our wedding! To quote one of our guests, “We didn’t even want to go pee we were having too much fun!!!!” Also, “My Fitbit clocked an entire 2 hours straight of dancing!” Thank you guys for crushing it! #teambearfight 🐻 👊

Bearfight was amazing, they had everyone on the dance floor even our grandparents. Post wedding everyone was raving about how awesome the band was. The duo for the ceremony was terrific. I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. Thank you!

BearFight absolutely MADE our wedding! I think I only left the dance floor once, in protest, to go to the bathroom. My bridesmaid strained her calf from dancing then told me, "If I broke my leg dancing to BearFight, it still would have been worth it!" They got old relatives of mine on the dance floor who we've seriously never seen dance before! We had the time of our lives dancing and singing on stage with these guys. Aside from just an exceptional reception performance, Chris and the crew are just so easy to work with. We had BearFight play an acoustic duo for our ceremony on site. I had picked 3 somewhat obscure songs that they learned, no questions asked. It was so beautiful and special to have them perform live as I walked down the aisle. They also played at our cocktail hour as well. We've gotten SO many compliments about the music. As one friend put it "there are wedding bands -- and then there is BearFight. They were just on a whole different level!" They took care of everything too: DJ to emcee the reception, microphones, speakers, lighting. Not having to worry about any of this stuff was a huge load lifted off of us from a planning perspective. We can't thank you enough! Can we do it all again next week!?!?

How good is BearFight? My Husband's handicap grandmother asked three people to help hold her up so she could dance for a minute. When we got engaged I already knew I wanted BearFight to play our wedding. We had seen them many times at Lansdown Pub in Boston, and knew they would keep the dance floor packed. This group did NOT disappoint! With a variety of songs to please everyone, and bringing a DJ along to fill in the rest, we had the most incredible night. Even my mother, who is a HARSH critic, yelled to me across the dance floor "I LOVE THIS BAND!". BearFight, we can't thank you guys enough! You kept the party so alive, no one would leave for the first shuttle back to the hotel.

Look no further. You have just found the most epic party people of all time. BearFight was truly the most talked about part of our wedding - hit after hit kept my entire wedding (from my five year old cousin who played with the drummer on stage, to the entire wedding party, to my grandparents and parents, aunts, uncles, cousins you name it) on the dance floor from the first song to the very last. One bridesmaid set it best - too many hits to even use the bathroom without getting serious FOMO. The best part - I did literally nothing to curate this epic party. When these guys say they know how to throw a party - trust them. I chose to let them control their set list for the reception and they nailed every single moment. Their musical talent is incredible, but their party throwing abilities are truly unmatched. So many of our guests have told us again and again that our wedding has been their all time favorite. I credit all of that to the massive party that became our dance floor when BearFight hit the stage. Chris & the rest of the band are so easy to work with - they even helped me pull of an epic father daughter surprise duet complete with sound check and sneaky mic pass. They were so magical that my wedding guests continue to stalk them at their local Boston gigs (MORE LANDSDOWNE PLEASE). Also - it really goes without saying but the fact that their pricing includes top notch DJ services (with a man who has a voice like Morgan Freeman) AND a band? Literally could not ask for anything better. They crushed every single aspect of our big day - ceremony through the last song. You truly will not find a better group of people to be the mastermind behind your wedding day vibes - oh and they give plenty of opportunities for eager guests and the couple to have their 15 seconds of fame. "I NEVER dance at weddings and this band had me up on the dance floor the ENTIRE reception from their first song to the last of the night...WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!?!" That is a direct quote from one of my wife's older aunts who was pleasantly surprised when the 'rock band that does weddings' that we hired got the dance party started at our wedding in Cape Cod this past August. My wife and I are both BIG music enthusiasts with a broad range of artists we like and so when we got engaged in April of 2017 we knew we wanted the focal point of our wedding to be the music and dancing. Here were our criteria: We definitely wanted a band, but we also wanted some original tracks to be played so the duality of having DJ would be helpful. My wife is a drummer and I play bass/guitar so we also wanted a band that would be open to the idea of us performing with them at the wedding. On top of that, we also wanted a band that might be open to learning more than 1 or 2 new songs for our wedding which is also a bit of a tall order. My wife and I had a phone call with Chris, the lead singer/manager, and he was one of the nicest, most accommodating people I've ever spoken to. He laid out exactly what BearFight could offer and it was way more than anything we heard or expected to hear from any other band. He told us they would provide a full band with DJ combo, could get a female vocalist added on per my wife's request, he encouraged us to perform with the band when we told him we also played instruments and told us BearFight could likely learn a few new songs at our request. When our wedding finally came around in August 2018 they ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT! They learned 7 new songs just for our wedding at our request and their DJ/MC was brilliant with the wedding party introductions and the timing of songs in between band sets. On top of all that, my wife and I performed with the band together and separately for 5 songs and even had some last minute requests from our friends asking if they could play guitar or bass for a certain song, which the guys in BearFight welcomed and offered their instruments without hesitation. Our wedding of 259 attendees had easily 220+ of the people on the dance floor during the reception. My 71-year-old father kept saying, "BEST. WEDDING. BAND. EVER!" after the wedding after being a bit skeptical about having a "rock band" as our wedding band, but BearFight really knows how to throw a party by reading their audience and their environment. They are extremely humble guys and will put you, your family, and your friends in the spotlight for your special day before themselves. They don't come off like a band that was hired to perform at a wedding, they carry a presence as "the most fun guests at a wedding that got everyone dancing...they just happened to also play instruments" as one of my groomsmen said. Ultimately, if you want a band that can do literally ANYTHING and does it all well for your special day that also happy to be just good people don't think, don't hesitate, don't wait. Hire BearFight and you're not just getting an unforgettable wedding, but you'll have acquired some unforgettable friends for life as well.

BearFight blew me away at our wedding. We decided to get married up in Lake Placid at the Mirror Lake Inn in March and began planning in January. So we definitely had a tight window. I met the band on the phone in February and that same day, they confirmed they were ready to make the 5 hour trek to the Adirondacks, stay the weekend, and ultimately knock our wedding guests socks off with energy and talent. I hardly even worked with them in advance outside of recommended songs and descriptions of expectations. They just took the reigns and connected with other vendors and made the day spectacular. We are in our mid 30s and the majority of wedding guests were between 25-40. I had numerous people tell me it was the best band they had ever encountered and even Grandma wouldn't get off of the dance floor! They also handed me the mic for fun during the incredible final songs. Hire them. You won't regret it.

Booking BearFight was the best and easiest decision of wedding planning. They were the first email we sent after picking our date and we booked them the very next day. I saw these guys at Landsdowne 8 years ago for the first time and clearly they left an impression because there was no doubt in my mind who we were booking when it came to our wedding. Chris & Alex were so easy to work with in advance and everything went perfectly day of. They were even gracious enough to let my 13yr old sister play saxophone with them. We wanted a hell of a dance party and we sure got it. These guys rocked 3 full sets - 4 hours total of music with the band and the DJ with a full dance floor the whole time. YOU ARE THE BEST Chris, Paul, Kevin & Rob. Can't wait for an excuse to hire you again.

BearFight does it all. Music at my wedding was a top priority and BearFight blew away my expectations. From being tremendously easy to work with, having timing down flawlessly, and most importantly playing so well everyone from every age group at my wedding was dancing and rocking out all night long; I couldn't recommend them enough. The DJ/Band combo is an awesome way to dance the night away and not too many bands would pull your violin playing cousin up on stage to perform a couple songs. They are the best of the best.

I have been to too many weddings to count and have had fun at a fair number of them. What I had last weekend with BearFight wasn't just fun ... it was and insane, over-the-top, amazing time. From the first guitar chord to the third encore (yes, the attendees demanded 3 encores), they commanded the room like no other event entertainers I have ever witnessed. Chris and the band engage perfectly with their audience and weave songs from a perfect set list into one, long, sing-a-long dance party. And what a dance party it was. I have gotten less exercise doing triathlons. I couldn't provide any better or stronger recommendation, unless of course, you want a reception that just isn't fun. If you do want to have an amazingly good time, this is the band and DJ for you. Don't make a mistake ... book BearFight the second you set your wedding date and then never worry again about whether your guests will have the time of their lives.

Dare I say, the best wedding band OF ALL TIME?! Bearfight was amazing. I'm still getting rave reviews from my guests about the band. The variety and genres of music were on point. Chris and the rest of the guys are so great to work to with and really accommodating. I would highly recommend Bearfight to all future brides and grooms!

Nothing short of amazing. Worth every single penny. People have not stopped talking about how awesome the band was! On a video from the our wedding that the band posted on their social media they labeled it with the quote of "We aren't a wedding band, we're a rock band that does weddings." I don't think any truer words have ever been spoken. We knew how great they were going in and trusted them to help make our wedding vision come true. They somehow exceeded every single expectation. In short, book BearFight!!! I am the chair of a formal charity event and BearFight played for us in May 2018. Chris and team were so easy to work with and absolutely made this year the best yet. Guests have not stopped talking about how amazing they were. People have told me they want to book them for their weddings. This event is different than the weddings they're used to playing and they rolled with the punches and even incorporated a donation based song request system and donated everything to our cause! I don't have enough good things to say about them and have already put a hold on them for next year's event. Seriously, if you're lucky enough that BearFight is available for your date, book them!!!

We got engaged in Cuba and sent an email to Bearfight before we even got off the plane. A live band was important to my husband and we realized that anyone we booked we would just compare to Bearfight. The guys are so great to work with and our wedding was just amazing because of them. We have lost track of how many times our friends and family told us how awesome they were and even had an uncle say to us the next day, "you know, I've been to a lot of weddings and this was the best one I've ever been to!" From start to finish Chris and his team were so helpful and organized. They made the whole process smooth and easy. Chris even helped us to find other vendors when we needed ideas. The DJ/band combination was awesome and the dance floor was packed all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band for our day!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! We cannot share how much love we have for these guys! For years we've been attending shows and became friends with these amazing guys! We always knew that we'd have them for our wedding day, so when the time came to start planning we scheduled our wedding day based off of Bearfight's availability! Bear Fight was the first vendor we booked because we knew, out of all the many elements that brings together a wedding, the band was the most important to us! From day one the guys of Bear Fight were accommodating, easy to work with, and so excited to be a part of our special day! John spent many nights on the phone with my husband and I answering questions about timing/format, song selection and countless other topics- he is not only an amazing musician, but such a kind and caring guy! On our wedding day, guests raved about the acoustic duo as we talked to everyone during cocktail hour and once the band started after dinner we danced the entire night! I can honestly say the best memory I have is getting on stage and dancing with my new husband to the amazing music of Bearfight as our closest friends and family rocked out! If you're looking for a wedding band (or for any event) - look no further!! BearFight totally rocked our wedding from cocktail hour through the last minutes we were allowed in the venue. I would hire them allover again in a heartbeat. Their professionalism, energy and talent totally made the day so much fun and attributed to everyone saying that it was hands down one of the most fun weddings they've ever attended. We now have people who attended our wedding getting engaged and asking for their information. One more important note - they don't play any songs that would make you want to take a dance break, so strap on your sneakers and get ready to dance ALL NIGHT LONG.

We went to a wedding a few years ago that BearFight played and it was absolutely the most fun we had ever had. The moment we got engaged we had no idea about where, or when, we wanted to get married; just that BearFight would be our band. No joke, when we finally found our venue I didn’t even book it until I checked with the guys to make sure they were available. I was a little worried when we later found out that Chris wouldn’t be able to make it, but they did not disappoint. Our photographer even commented multiple times that this was the best band he had ever heard at a wedding. A noise complaint from a few floors above in the hotel proved just how hard they rocked out. Easily the best and easiest wedding planning decision we made. Thank you for being such great guys and so easy to work with. Five stars is not enough for this band. Bearfight was the first vendor we booked for our wedding after seeing them preform at Figawi on Nantucket, and they were far and away the best money spent on the wedding. From start to finish they were super cool and professional and totally understood the exact "vibe" we were going for. They were able to get the party started and keep it going. I was very nervous about having a wide Agee range- small children to elderly- at the wedding and trying to keep everyone's interest with dancing and music, but everyone had a blast! We keep being told it was an "over the top" and "best wedding ever" thanks to Bearfight! I can't wait to go to their local shows now that the wedding chaos is over.

BearFight was the best wedding decision that we could have made! I first saw them at Landsdowne Pub while I was attending school in Boston. The guys were super friendly, professional yet fun, and easy to communicate with. They were more than willing to travel to upstate NY, which had to be at least a 4-5 hour drive for them. If you are looking for a great band and to have A LOT of fun, these are your guys!

THE BEST, best, best, best! Our guests are still talking about what an amazing time they had at our wedding and how much fun Bearfight was. My fiancé (now husband),my parents and I went to check them out on St. Patty's day 2016 , we knew on the spot they would be a perfect fit for our Cape Cod wedding. Planning with Chris was honestly one of my favorite memories from the entire wedding planning process - he was familiar with the unique layout of our venue, respected my concern of wanting to appeal to all of the age ranges of the guests (and delivered on!), and he was professionalism while still being beyond approachable. I loved that they gave us free reign of song selection while still guiding us on what works well for a wedding set list/DJ combo - I could go on and on! We spent our engagement following them around Boston and formed a great friendship with the guys - I got emotional when I first saw them as I walked through the reception space for the first time. Our wedding day would not have been the dream it was without Bearfight!

Bearfight is the absolute best wedding band and dj combo out there. Our wedding was an EPIC dance party, and Bearfight gets all the credit. There were chants for one last song, twice(!) too man sing alongs to count, and the most incredible love-fest song list! Chris and the guys were an absolute dream to work with and made the process so easy. We even changed up a planned song the morning of, and they didn't bat an eye. So many people complimented us on the band, and truly the biggest compliment was the dance floor was PACKED past end time. We had such a great time working with them and I know if you hire them, you will too!

Every single person I have talked to who was at my wedding raves about BearFight, and I have to agree. The band is so much fun. NOT YOUR AVERAGE WEDDING BAND! Steven and I found Bearfight while in college in Boston. The first time we heard them, we said if we ever ended up getting married, that this would be our wedding band. Fast forward ten years later, we just had the biggest party of our life thanks to these guys! Our vision for our wedding was very, non-tradition, in that all we wanted was a party. No sit down dinner, no buffet, but grab food as you want and dance your you know what off. Bearfight was totally on board, saw our vision, and without hesitation pulled off the biggest party of our life! Cant thank these guys enough. We have friends and family STILL saying that it was the best wedding that they have been to and that their feet still hurt, raving the band and their energy. Thank you guys! ❤️

Absolutely the BEST wedding band and DJ out there!!! Honestly, our family and friends can not stop talking about how awesome our reception was and it's because they kept the party going all night long with a fun mix of music!!! I am so happy that they were highly recommended to us by a friend who scoured the country for her wedding band and found them! After seeing all of their reviews and performances, we knew we had to have them and booked them immediately (best thing we ever did)! Since the beginning of our wedding planning, we have felt well taken care of and they truly listened to every single request (BIG and SMALL)! The highlight was when I requested they play 'Love Shack,' as that is my power karaoke jam. Not only did they learn the song for me, but invited me up on stage so I could rock out at my own wedding!!! BEST DAY EVER and it's all due to Bearfight!!! We can not thank them enough!!!!!

We first saw BearFight play at our college reunion, and once we got engaged they were the first vendor we contacted. We were so happy with their services, the planning and responsiveness were top notch, and they made song selection and request very easy. Day of they were able to do all three aspects (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We were dancing all night, and everyone kept saying how amazing the band was. Our reception was situated over the general store for the resort. One of our guest went down there during the reception and the woman working said it was the most rowdy wedding she has ever heard. Which I take as a good thing! We are so happy with their services and that they were willing to travel all the way to Vermont! I would recommend BearFight to anyone looking to hire a band for their wedding!

We went to a friends wedding a few years ago and we left and all my now husband and I could talk about was how amazing the band was. So when we got engaged last year and talked about what we wanted we agreed on one thing immediately and that was bearfight! Chris was always so quick to respond to every question I had. All of the guys were so friendly and didn't seem to care when all of our friends decided it was appropriate to get on stage with them during our wedding. They made our wedding a huge party and we can't thank them enough!

BearFight is the best wedding band ever, hands down. From the first day we got in contact with them to the after-party and beyond, these guys were great to work with. They offer everything you could ever want from a wedding band, and you really get the whole package. To give you a sense of how flexible they are, Chris accommodated our last minute request to come to our venue (4 hours away!) to play acoustic at our welcome party the night before our wedding. AND when my dad wanted to surprise me and sing during his speech, Paul learned the music to the song...in less than a DAY! Our one requirement for our wedding band was that they bring the energy and keep the party going all night long--and they didn't disappoint! I'm not lying when I say I was dancing for 3 straight hours, and so was everyone else! I can't tell you how many of our guests told us that BearFight was "the best wedding band they ever heard!" A number of our friends have asked us for their info for upcoming events since - and one already booked them for her wedding next summer! We can't thank BearFight enough for helping to make our wedding weekend the best ever! I can't wait to refer them to everyone I know!

If you want a wedding band, hire a wedding band. If you want your guests to have a great time and spend most of the night on the dance floor hire BearFight. BearFight ROCKED. They were great to work with before the wedding, and took our song requests and filled out the rest of the setlist to seem custom tailored to our crowd. We have had multiple people ask for the set list! We had a few kids at the wedding and they really enjoyed being called out from the stage, and at the end of the night the drummer gave them his drumsticks. Not sure how much the others on the bus ride home felt about that, but we know for sure it made the kids' night, week, year... We couldn't recommend BearFight enough!

Hiring Bearfight for our September wedding was the single best decision we made! True professionals from start to finish, they had every one of our guests dancing and singing all night long. I really do not have enough good things to say about BearFight. They exceeded all expectations. They kept everyone dancing all night. It was all anyone could talk about and certainly the highlight of our wedding. We had an outdoor venue that required speakers to be off at 10pm. I was so sad that they couldn't play all night!! Book this band for your wedding and you will not be disappointed!

We hired Bear Fight for our wedding in Salem, MA on 8/12/16 and they were amazing!! We first saw them perform at a friend's wedding a year before and loved their energy and set lists. We also liked that they offered the unique band/DJ combo which is really the best of both worlds. Bear Fight really brought the entertainment value to our wedding! They were so easy to work with and very good about responding/communication which any bride/groom really appreciates when you have a million other things you are trying to coordinate. We had a scheduled phone call the week of our wedding just to go over the specifics which I really appreciated. They had a ton of songs to choose from in their set lists from Dave Matthews and alternative, to Country, 80s, 90s and today. They were such great performers that interacted with us and our guests which helped to fill up our dance floor and get everyone up and dancing! Their DJ was great too! I had a particular mood in mind for the cocktail/dinner portion of the evening (Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc.) They provided me with a spreadsheet and I was able to fill in all my specific song requests (which I had a ton!) or leave it up to them to select the songs based on my general style requests. I also hired their DJ to come out for our ceremony to play pre-ceremony, processional, mid ceremony and recessional requests of mine which he did a beautiful job of! Lastly, our wedding ceremony was outside at a different venue then our reception, the weather forecast was very iffy that day and we were going to make a day of call a few hours before if we were going to proceed with the outdoor ceremony. It meant so much to me that Bearfight was willing to be flexible in terms of their set up time incase we had to move the ceremony indoors and worked with my onsite wedding coordinator instead of stressing me out on my wedding day over these sorts of details. These guys are definitely professionals! My husband and I along with our families and guests all highly recommend Bearfight for your MC, DJ and wedding band!

Hiring Bearfight for our wedding was by far the best decision we made during the wedding planning process! From our first conversation with them until after our wedding day, Bearfight was the absolute best to work with. They are incredibly flexible, accommodating, and take so much time to make sure all music details are perfect. They truly set the tone of our reception and carried the party throughout the night. All of our friends and family could not stop talking about how Bearfight was the "best band they had ever heard" and "where did you find them!?". We had numerous friends and couples get their information as well as they wanted to hire them for their own upcoming weddings. They worked with us to get a sense of what we liked, then we let them do their job; and BOY did they. The divined our favorite songs, played some random songs we loved but hadn't hear in years. One moment there was a rodeo dance off, and the next they got people who hadn't danced in 10 years out on the dance floor. I cannot recommend strongly enough.

I've known BearFight forever - rocking out for years at Boston bars. When I became engaged, I just knew I had to have them preform at our wedding. I was pretty lucky that they were available as they do book quickly! (Literally the second vendor I booked, first venue, then BearFight). They are beyond professional and accommodating. While we were off getting married at a church, I was fully confident in leaving any emergencies in BearFights hands. They are great performers! I'm still getting compliments from our guests on the amazing and fun wedding we threw; by the end of the night there was not one guest still sitting - everyone was on the dance floor and the bride was a sweaty mess (and i was okay with that). I wish the party didn't end at 10pm and I am so honored and thankful BearFight was our band/entertainment. You guys were icing on the wedding cake :)

Bearfight rocked the night for my epic wedding in August! The rain did not stop Chris and Paul from playing an acoustic duo for 3rd set.

Hands down the best Band and DJ that I ever seen/heard at a wedding!!Took our wedding to a whole new level and made everyone feel so a part of it. All of our guests are still talking about much fun they had and that they have never danced so much. These guys are the best!

These guys were absolutely amazing. From the outset with the acoustic duo, to the set list that we basically picked ourselves from working with the band before the wedding, it could not have gone better. I maintain that having a band at a wedding has always got to be the better way to go, and it is a huge bonus to have a band like these guys deliver the goods!

I can not say enough about the guys of Bearfight and DJ Alex. From the first time meeting with the band they put any concerns to rest. All of my emails and questions were answered promptly. Fun is an understatement to what we had they rocked!! The band is so energetic, and extremely talented. They had EVERYONE at our wedding up and dancing. I highly recommend them and can't wait to see them again at one of their bar shows!

As soon as we got engaged, we knew the next step was to pick a date ASAP so we could book Bearfight. They're incredible! They do not disappoint and really bring the party. My husband is a marine and they made sure to personally thank him during one of their songs as well as wear special red, white, and blue guitar straps. Laura, the DJ also did a great job keeping the party going while the band was on break. I would highly recommend Bearfight to anyone looking to have live music.

Though they may not seem like a traditional “wedding band”, for my husband and I there was no choice other than Bearfight for our June wedding. Not only had we attended our friends’ wedding where they rocked the house, but I have been a Bearfight “groupie” for years and was beyond excited when I realized they were available for our wedding. They got, and kept, everyone on the dancefloor and made the night so memorable. Some of our favorite photos of the night are from our guests shaking it on the dancefloor! In addition to the band being amazing, we were lucky to have DJ Phoenix (Laura) there to add to the fun. If you are looking for an amazing, fun, non-basic/boring wedding band, Bearfight is SO it!! Go check them out and get them booked, you will not regret it!!

I don't know where to begin!! BearFight seriously rocks! We had a packed dance floor & 7 weeks later, people are still talking about them to us. If it's within your budget, hire these guys! They are genuinely nice guys and their music plus personalities are awesome. As my Mom said "They are so nice! When they were on break, the weren't really, they were dancing with you guys!" I had the best time at my wedding and a big part of that was due to Bearfight! Thanks again guys!!!

Bearfight does not disappoint! These guys had the entire room up on their feet dancing from start to finish, and even played a couple extra songs when the wedding guests began shouting ENCORE!! Joe and I knew without a doubt that Bearfight was the wedding band for us. They were the FIRST vendor we secured, and we still tease my mother that Bearfight knew our wedding date before she did! The bandmembers and their DJ worked with us to perfect every detail and we couldn't have imagined our night without them. Compliments, facebook 'likes' and shares have been pouring in for them ever since our wedding guests experienced what an incredibly FUN night Bearfight had to offer.
