ld not even get a hold of them. Prior the the final payment, they were super attentive to all of our e-mails. But afterwards, everything changed. I waited to post this review so that I could contact them first with my concerns and give them a chance to make things right. But unfortunately, a week has gone by, and I have yet to hear back. There are multiple 5 star reviews, and an impressive portfolio. They also pride themselves on professional editing. I wish I could have had the experience that these other reviewers did. However, I am not completely satisfied with our pictures at all. Don't get me wrong, they did take SOME great shots. However, for the price we paid and previous work we saw from Beau Vaughn, we do not feel like the standards were upheld. My sister in law has a BFA in photography, and I have previously worked in graphic design. Both of us can agree that the majority of our photos seem amateur. There are many pictures where I can see how something was clearly Photoshopped, for example, under my chin. Additionally, a lot of the pictures are very over exposed and the lighting still needs a lot of work. I understand our ceremony was supposed to be outside, but with the rain, there should have been adequate preparation for an indoor ceremony. A professional company should know how to accommodate for indoor lighting. Not only with the editing, but the photographers provided no direction in how people were to be positioned for portrait pictures. They would simply say which side of the family was next, and just stand there, expecting us to arrange ourselves. I know from experience with other photographers (and talking to some other professionals) that it is expected of photographers to direct. The majority of the pictures are not evenly spaced and now I cannot even print them because they look so unprofessional and awkward. This is something I know can be fixed in Photoshop, and for the amount we paid, this should have been taken care of. Now, I will probably have to fix them myself. So yes, I will not deny the fact that there are some great shots. But, as a whole, the pictures do not live up to the standards of Beau Vaughn's reputation. I honestly feel let down that we were so excited to use these guys as our photographers, and this was the result.

My now husband and I were not super excited to pose awkwardly for engagement photos, but Beau Vaughn really made us feel at ease! No awkwardness here! They come up with some unique poses that really look incredible and natural in the photos. We had our giant dogs with us for engagement photos, and our photographer, Lindsey, got some amazing shots of them! When wedding planning, they listened to all our requests for photos/videos and once the big day arrived, Lucy, Parker, and Justin didn't miss a thing! The quality of our photos and videos were unmatched. Everyone that saw our photos were just blown away by the quality, and just how beautiful everything was. They captured all the details. It was so fun seeing the photos and watch the videos of things that I missed while I was getting ready and too busy on the dance floor. I especially liked how they stand in the back during your ceremony and are able to take photos with a high zoom lens so as not to block the view of any guests. My advice to any bride starting their vendor search - choose Beau Vaughn for all your photography and videography needs. Your wedding photos preserve your memory and you Beau Vaughn will help you relive the big day all over again. Not to mention they are fantastic to work with! THANK YOU!

Justin, Val, Lucy and the entire BV team are the kindest, most professional people I was able to work with during our wedding planning process. Due to an unforseen issue, Val even helped us look for a new wedding venue! Our engagement photo session was so much fun and gave us a great insight into what our wedding day would be like. Our photographers and videographer were just incredible. Our photos are something out of a magazine. What really separates them from the rest though were the moments that made a major difference. While we were leaving the church to go to the hotel for our reception, Val told our driver to take us for a spin around the city and to NOT bring us back until our champagne glasses were empty... let me tell you. THOSE are the memories we have now. A moment of quiet in the chaos to take it all in. No one would have thought of that except for her and we are so grateful. After our wedding, my mom (of course) thought she looked fat and my brother (of course) wore a grey tux instead of a black one (is there even such a thing?) Not only did they photoshop my brother's tux to look black so it matched everyone else, but they photoshopped my mom to look thinner just so she would be happy-- and for free, y'all. Our wedding video was just incredible- we were in awe when we saw it. I don't have enough good things to say about them and I wish BV nothing but all of the success in the world. They are worth every-damn-penny.

ere were strangers with cameras running around. We got our sneak peek before we even returned from our honeymoon and got all of our pictures 2 weeks after the wedding. We loved them all so much! I also requested a few more edits to remove some background noise and the strap from the underneath layer on my dress that was peeking out and they were more than happy to help with that as well. The photobooth was so much fun; they gave us two printed copies- one for the guests in the picture and one that went into an album they created for us, and then we also got an online copy that was fun to share on social media. The video was very well done and captured so many sentimental moments without the videographer ever being "noticeable" while shooting the film-I rarely even noticed her and was even caught off guard sometimes when I saw her filming us because I didn't realize at first she was there! The photographers were also very friendly and stayed incognito throughout the wedding day. I was very impressed how thorough and detailed the photographers were - they noticed small things like pockets being untucked, or necklace clasps in the wrong spot before taking the photos. They were so patient, fun, and kind. Great people to work with - I can't wait to get our album back and see their creativity come to life.

Justin and his team were very organized and professional on both occasions. You can see Justin and his teams experience when they are working. While working with Justin the picture taking, posing, set ups, just seemed to flow and at the end of the day we had an amazing product. Even if it meant showing up in Aspen CO for our destination wedding. I could go on and on all day about how great of a product Beau Vaugh provides. Also I am not sure many other photographers would have hiked with all of the photography gear to an aspen grove in the mountains to shoot our wedding photos. We knew after the shoot that we wanted Beau Vaughn (and specifically Val!) to do our wedding! They were extremely sweet and professional in all their communication, and I felt completely taken care of. On the day of the wedding, Val (and our second photographer Thor), were simply incredible. They were on time, fun, kept things moving and captured what we wanted and more! We had so much fun with both of them on our day, and Thor even stayed past our agreed upon departure time so he could capture the final moments of our reception. They were both professional but friendly and fun, and I was so thankful to have their capable hands shooting the wedding. We got our pictures less than two weeks later; they sent me a beautiful box with a jump drive that held all the photos in both black and white and color, as well as a video montage to our first dance song. h the resulting photos. Our family photos were taken in poor light, and because of this, there are shadows on most all of our faces in family photos. Some shadows are so extreme that entire faces are hidden. Val, our photographer, mentioned that the lighting wasn't great on the day-of (photos were outside), but if the lighting was this poor, I'm not sure why she didn't have us adjust. This was disappointing because all of our family photos turned out this way. We were also asked to make a list of photos we wanted taken (family combinations, example photos, etc), and more of these photos were NOT taken than actually were taken. Again, our overall experience with Beau Vaughn was great. We did get multiple great photos from our wedding; however, with such a renowned business and so many great reviews, our expectations may have been set too high.

Beau Vaughn has all of the best equipment, and use the newest technology (handheld cameras for guests to shoot, and drones!)The only thing I wish is that we just had him for a little bit longer...but if you have it in your budget, you can pay for additional time. 100% recommend...visit their website to see their awesome work!

She took such natural photographs of us, our family, and our friends. She is outgoing and willing to do anything to get your pictures. She is laid back and flexible, but she was not afraid to take charge when some of our family members made the group shots a little hectic. She is absolutely all about the bride and groom. Anya was our second shooter, and she was also great! We got so many photos--every picture comes in color and black/white. They also use artistic aspects on some photos. We loved the online galleries and how easy they were to use. We also got a slideshow of our photos set to our favorite song! The turnaround time is incredible, and the product speaks for itself. We cannot say enough good things about this company! Book them! You will not regret it!

When I posted a few of them on facebook, I had so many people, including a couple photographer friends, comment about how awesome the pictures are. I know the photos turned out so well because of the extensive measures they took to understand my wedding vision. Are there cheaper photographers? Yes, BUT, I gave Beau Vaughn 5 stars for value because of what you truly get for the price with them. For example, I had a USB drive with all of my pics within 2 weeks of my wedding...unheard of with other photographers. Also, they did a separate shoot with my dress by itself...something that was not included in my contract but that they were happy to do for me for no extra charge. I would highly recommend Beau Vaughn to any bride who wants to have a great experience and end up with beautiful pictures.

I can rave and rave about them all day long. They definitely have my recommendation. Bridget was also very easy to work with and communicate with the whole year up until our wedding. They are extremely organized and I never had to reach out to them close to the wedding, they always contacted me to see if I needed anything and to confirm all details of the wedding. We bought the basic wedding photography package which includes 2 photographers for 8 hours each, hundreds of pictures on a flash drive with the released copy rights and basic editing with quick turn around time as well as premium videography package which includes 1 videographer for 8 hours, raw footage of the ceremony as well as a 20-25 minute highlight video which you can pick the music to! I found that these things are expensive however completely worth it in my option and a place in the wedding that's worth spending that kind of money!

When I first met with Beau Vaughn the owner sat down and asked questions about me and my fiancé to get to know us better and understand what’s unique about our relationship. Then, he showed us albums of different weddings he captured and asked us to pick out photos we liked and disliked in order to understand the style of photography that was most appealing to us. I appreciated this as I am a novice when it comes to photojournalism. While the photographers ask for certain poses or styles we wanted, we told them to just use their best judgment. We got to see the photographers in action during our friend’s wedding before signing with them, which was very beneficial. We got to see how they interacted with the guests and how they captured every moment. After our friend’s wedding, we had no doubt that we wanted Beau Vaughn for our wedding. The day of our wedding was perfect. The photographers captured everything we wanted and were hardly noticeable during any part of the day. The results were amazing and we are so glad we went with them. Beau Vaughn truly delivers the quality of photos you desire at a great value.

From the very beginning our photographer Justin answered every question we had, marked down every detail we requested and he went above and beyond on our wedding day. Not only was our photographer amazing, but the quality of our pictures and album are spectacular. I highly recommend Beau Vaughn Photography-you will not be disappointed!

eat, we were sold. We were so grateful that he worked with our budget, and between the engagement photos, the wedding photos, & the wedding video, we have beautiful memories to last us a lifetime. The engagement photos had creativity and fun- Justin even went and scoped out the spots we wanted beforehand so he could get ideas. Very dedicated and knows what he's doing. I did a LOT of research on a good videographer for the wedding too, and the fact that it was 20 minutes long and seeing the quality and creativity of their videos beforehand, I was so excited to book them. It was the best for the money. And now we have one of our own videos that I just want to watch a million times over. The photos went beyond my expectations and captured so many wonderful moments, those that were real life moments and those that were created for photos. They were beautiful and I know we will continue to tear up when we see some of them. ntire time but there were two photographers who were able to capture both the bride and groom separately as well as bring us different angles with tons of unique shots to choose from! They were professional and a lot of fun to work with. I would highly recommend them, they are worth the cost and they captured everything we wanted!
