Beaute Speciale

I attempted to hire Beaute Speciale for my wedding. Prior to signing a contract for the wedding date, I requested a trial since I wanted to make sure I would be happy working with this salon. To have a trial, you have to pay for the full service cost when making the appointment. On the day of the appointment, my tire blew out while driving to the salon. I was traveling from an hour away. Once the incident happened, I attempted to contact the salon. No luck called two different numbers and left a voicemail. Finally, I sent an email to the person I was working with to inform her of the incident. Later that day in an email, instead of sympathizing with a potential wedding day client to rebook the trial for a later date, I was asked to pay for the full service again to make another appointment. Seems crazy? If you are considering this salon, I hope you have a better experience. I would highly recommend another salon that will prioritize you as a client especially when you are spending thousands of dollars for a service.

I loved working with Shelby! She was so sweet and willing to work with my preferences for hair and makeup. My hair and makeup was perfect for my wedding day!

I cannot thank this team enough for making me feel like an absolute princess the day of my wedding!!! My whole bridal party felt so pretty and we loved the energy the ladies provided when they came to get us all glammed up for my wedding. Shelby did my hair and make up trial back in February and even that day I felt so beautiful. She did my wedding day hair and make up and it lasted the entire wedding night. She ensured my wedding tiara would stay put and it never fell out! The whole team was so lovely and I can't wait for another event in my life so I can get glammed up again!

Shelby, from Beaute Speciale, did my hair and make-up last month for my wedding and I cannot say enough good things about her!! Let me just start off by saying that I am a POC, and I was SO nervous about getting my make up done because every time I’ve ever gotten my make up done in the past, my artist didn’t know how to do dark skin and I would look horrible. I also didn’t have time to do a trial so I honestly had little hope that I was going to look good on my wedding day. Shelby listened to my concerns at the beginning of my session, and assured me that I would look great when she was done with me. I had heard that before, so I still wasn’t very confident after hearing that, but she absolutely NAILED it! She knew what she was doing, and I was so happy with how both my hair and make up turned out! She was also punctual, professional and also so sweet! My bridesmaids got their hair and make up done by another company, and Shelby took the time to do a little touch up on a few of them which she absolutely did not have to do! If the other make up artists that work for Beaute Speciale are as great as Shelby, you will be in good hands with this company!
