Absolutely fantastic! Great to work with—collaborative and kind! And the cake turned out fantastic and pretty much exactly like inspo picture we showed her. The slit on the side wa...
s made to be a bit smaller than their standard, which we asked for, and it was perfect for the classic cake cutting moment. It looked beautiful and totally real!
Lorraine was amazing! Not only was it beautifully designed to match our theme, but it also tasted incredible. We even enjoyed the tasting! We almost didn't do a cake, but we are so...
glad we did.
Working with Lorraine was wonderful and so easy; everything from email communication, to our design meeting and tasting, to payment, to delivery, and finally taste was perfect. Lor...
raine makes absolutely incredible display cakes out of Styrofoam and partners with Park Bake Shop to provide the actual sheet cakes for the wedding. After exchanging a few emails, we met with her at her studio to determine the design for the cake and to taste Park Bake Shop's cake options. Lorraine was very friendly and enthusiastic, and she was super open to our ideas and made great suggestions based on some of the inspiration photos we showed her. We got to try a few different cakes and decided on half chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and half vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling, all topped with chocolate fudge. Lorraine did an amazing job with our display cake; it was everything we dreamed it'd be and a stunning work of art. Our guests could not believe it was fake. As for the sheet cake from Park Bake Shop, my wife and I were blown away by how great the cake tasted. Usually wedding cakes are bland or dry, but ours was moist, decadent, and flavorful. Both cakes exceeded our expectations; Lorraine created a true masterpiece for us, and our wedding cake was the most delicious we'd ever tasted. We're so glad we chose Beautifauxl Cakes, Lorraine is the best and you will NOT be disappointed!!!
The name tells you everything you need to know! We had a specific vision of a cake and Lorraine executed it perfectly, it was beautiful. So many guests were impressed with the qual...
ity of the cake without even knowing that the cake they were going to eat was in the back of the kitchen the whole time. The actual cake that we were able to eat was delicious. We would have never thought to do a Raspberry Lemon flavored cake but during the tasting it was our favorite by a landslide. Lorraine was so friendly/accommodating during the entire process as well. The only regret my husband and I have is that there wasn’t any cake to take home after since so many people went back for seconds. We will definitely be reaching out for a smaller version of our sheet cake during our anniversary. Thank you Lorraine for your amazing work!
I cannot put into words how in love I was with my Beautifauxl Cakes cake! After reading reviews and going through their Instagram page I knew I found the right person to make my da...
rk and moody dreams a reality. I went into my appointment with Lorraine with a few pictures from Pinterest and after talking I felt like I could trust her so I gave her full creative control. The cake she made for me defied my expectations and was truly the prettiest part of my wedding.
Lorraine is a true artist, I cannot stress this point enough!
We loved our "fake cake!" She customized it to match what we wanted exactly, and it was a beautiful faux cake. I have a food allergy so the bakery made vegan cakes for us. They wer...
e delicious. The price was reasonable and we still had our cake cutting ceremony. Overall I'd highly recommend this option for anyone who wants to save a little money, but especially anyone who needs special food accommodations!
Lorraine is the sweetest and maybe the easiest to work with out of all our wedding vendors! As soon as I came across this idea for cakes, I stopped looking at other bakeries. As sw...
eets lovers, we planned to have an assortment of desserts but still wanted the classic cake cutting photos & because of that, didn't want to spend an absurd amount of money on a cake. Beautifauxl Cakes was the answer to our prayers! We went for a tasting in her studio and had the loveliest afternoon tasting flavors, chatting with Lorraine and checking out her collection of Beautifauxl Cakes. For our big day, we decided to rent a gorgeous FAUX naked cake, along with sheet cakes to serve to our guests. Lorraine also created the cutest custom peg people cake topper for us. The faux cake looked amazing on the day of the wedding - no one knew the cake wasn't real until we shared our secret with a few of our guests!! The sheet cakes were delicious too. We got lots of compliments on how refreshing the flavors were. Highly, highly recommend Beautifauxl Cakes for your faux custom cake!
Lorraine is so talented, professional, and accommodating! Our custom wedding cake and groom's cake were both FABULOUS and exceeded our expectations. The sheet cake and real tier of...
our groom's cake were so delicious that our guests are still raving about it. The groom's cake looked so believable that my Mom accidentally cut into one of the faux tiers thinking it was real! We also loved our tasting experience! We saved a lot of money using Beautifauxl Cakes (vs. a traditional real wedding cake) and no one could tell that it wasn't real! She even includes a slit in the back of the cake for us to "cut the cake" for pictures :). PERFECTION!! I will definitely be using her services again in the near future.
Everything was perfect. The cake looked amazing, and she went above and beyond to make sure it was what we wanted, and within our price range. Everyone thought the cake was real an...
d beautiful! I would recommend beautifauxl cakes to everyone!
We absolutely would recommend anyone renting a cake from Lorraine in a heartbeat! The venue we were having our wedding at had a pastry chef onsite so it wasn't incredibly important...
for me and my husband to have a tiered cake from a bakery (not to mention a beautiful cake was not in our budget). I found Lorraine's website online, and just had the best experience working with her!! She has such a warm heart and truly cares about the couples she works with. On more than one occasion she went above and beyond helping us and we are so appreciative of her generosity! I wanted a cake topper that was our names in acrylic and she reached out to them to ensure that it would work - it turned out it actually didn't but Lorraine was generous enough to build something for us to ensure it would. It came out absolutely stunning and one of my very favorite pictures of me and my husband is with our cake! So much, that we included it on our thank you cards to our guests!
We got so many compliments on the beauty of the cake and our guests had no idea it was fake as we served a sheet cake from the venue kitchen. This was such a cost effective option for us and one we are so happy we made. Lorraine does amazing work and is such a nice and caring vendor to work with. I would definitely recommend Lorraine to anyone interested in renting a fake cake!
Lorraine was AMAZING! She found a cake matching exactly what I was describing and when my cake topper would work on the pre made one, she made a whole new top tier so it would work...
