Beautifauxl Cakes

Working with Lorraine was wonderful and so easy; everything from email communication, to our design meeting and tasting, to payment, to delivery, and finally taste was perfect. Lorraine makes absolutely incredible display cakes out of Styrofoam and partners with Park Bake Shop to provide the actual sheet cakes for the wedding. After exchanging a few emails, we met with her at her studio to determine the design for the cake and to taste Park Bake Shop's cake options. Lorraine was very friendly and enthusiastic, and she was super open to our ideas and made great suggestions based on some of the inspiration photos we showed her. We got to try a few different cakes and decided on half chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and half vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling, all topped with chocolate fudge. Lorraine did an amazing job with our display cake; it was everything we dreamed it'd be and a stunning work of art. Our guests could not believe it was fake. As for the sheet cake from Park Bake Shop, my wife and I were blown away by how great the cake tasted. Usually wedding cakes are bland or dry, but ours was moist, decadent, and flavorful. Both cakes exceeded our expectations; Lorraine created a true masterpiece for us, and our wedding cake was the most delicious we'd ever tasted. We're so glad we chose Beautifauxl Cakes, Lorraine is the best and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

The name tells you everything you need to know! We had a specific vision of a cake and Lorraine executed it perfectly, it was beautiful. So many guests were impressed with the quality of the cake without even knowing that the cake they were going to eat was in the back of the kitchen the whole time. The actual cake that we were able to eat was delicious. We would have never thought to do a Raspberry Lemon flavored cake but during the tasting it was our favorite by a landslide. Lorraine was so friendly/accommodating during the entire process as well. The only regret my husband and I have is that there wasn’t any cake to take home after since so many people went back for seconds. We will definitely be reaching out for a smaller version of our sheet cake during our anniversary. Thank you Lorraine for your amazing work!

I cannot put into words how in love I was with my Beautifauxl Cakes cake! After reading reviews and going through their Instagram page I knew I found the right person to make my dark and moody dreams a reality. I went into my appointment with Lorraine with a few pictures from Pinterest and after talking I felt like I could trust her so I gave her full creative control. The cake she made for me defied my expectations and was truly the prettiest part of my wedding. Lorraine is a true artist, I cannot stress this point enough!

We loved our "fake cake!" She customized it to match what we wanted exactly, and it was a beautiful faux cake. I have a food allergy so the bakery made vegan cakes for us. They were delicious. The price was reasonable and we still had our cake cutting ceremony. Overall I'd highly recommend this option for anyone who wants to save a little money, but especially anyone who needs special food accommodations!
