Very friendly and understanding staff! They were willing to work with me in paying for my dress, and that was very appreciated!
Rebecca was amazing, and the store was delightful. I came from out of state to try on dresses with my mom and best friend, and Rebecca was able to fit me into an appt with limited ...
advanced notice. It's true that there isn't a huge selection of a dresses you could find anywhere else, instead there are a number of hand crafted unique designs I haven't seen anywhere else. I didn't want shopping for my wedding dress to feel like going to a department store, and beautiful brides delivers being a locally owned independent business that really cares about their customers and their dresses. Before you try on dresses you look through the selection and choose your top four which helps to focus you on what you actually want without getting overwhelmed by how many gorgeous options there are. There is also a lovely selection of hair accessories, purses, and vails to complete the look that are worth a stop at the store even if you found your dress somewhere else. I couldn't be happier that I ended up going to Beautiful Brides to find my stunning dress and had Rebecca to help guide me through the process including being fitted and choosing the best size to order.
Beautiful brides is an excellent bridal salon. Nice ambience, really great staff, and no pressure sales.
I loved every second I spent on their salon, and I highly recommend any b...
ride to visit them!
Their dresses are more unique than chain stores, so you won’t look like anyone else you know either!
Found a dress off the rack (one-of-a-kind, so you must take it now!) that didn't fit, but the saleswoman assured me that their recommended seamstress could make it work. She did no...
t. It was awful. The dress was nice (though filthy, and they refused to clean it up at all - comes as-is), and a fair price, but I should have known better than to get talked into something that didn't fit (and wouldn't be made to fit by a seamstress associated with the store, which Beautiful Brides does not have). I wasted a lot of time & money trying to make it work (the recommended seamstress was located an hour north of Madison). I would not recommend them, compared to many more pleasant shopping experiences elsewhere.
The majority of people in my wedding party have illnesses that limit their mobility, as I do. I was told essentially to not bring those members of my family as they couldn't guaran...
tee that they had seating. Then after I vented about it online, without using names or business identifiers, their manager called me to tear me a new one over the phone. STAY AWAY!!
Thank you to Amy for helping me choose the dress of my dreams! We also bought the Bridesmaids dresses, which were beautiful! She was so wonderful to work with! Very patient as I tr...
ied on many dresses. Prices very reasonable and affordable! Great service and suggestions for veil and sash also! There is a lot to choose from and they really listen to what you are looking for, and make great suggestions. Thank you Beautiful Brides for my beautiful wedding dress! I appreciate everything!
I got my dress at Beautiful Brides. I looked at dresses on the regular rack and also on the sample rack and ended up buying a beautiful sample dress for only $200.
The salesper...
son was very helpful and let me go around and look at the dresses myself and mark which ones I wanted to try on.
I went on a weekday when it was less busy and got great service. If you are on a budget and want to look for a sample dress this would be a good stop. They also had a lot of regular priced dresses too, so if you're not sure, you may want to stop. I liked the experience.
All of the staff were so helpful and patient and helped me pick the dress of my dreams! I was pleased that I had my bridesmaids buy their dresses there and they even got a discount...
! Wonderful experience
The dresses were beautiful and fit very well. However, we went through a lot of hassle with ordering them and losing information. Overall, it was a good experience.
The ladies at Beautiful Brides were a wonderful to work with. They were very patient and even stayed late when I decided to come back at the very end of the day to get my dress. Pl...
us the fact that they don't make the dress until you order it made me feel very special and unique. I know that there aren't to many people out there with my dress.
I went to Beautiful brides because they carry designers that are carried in very few stores. All of the dresses are copyrighted until you purchase it, so you have to go to the sho...
p to see the gowns. The trip was very personalized and the employees were very knowledgeable. We had it narrowed down to two dresses in no time. I am so glad that I never went to some place like David's bridal.
Their price range was a little higher than I had hoped, but I started looking around and tried several on. Nothing seemed perfect, so I tried to describe what I wanted and she bro...
ught me a dress that was perfect. Don't judge a dress by how it looks on the hanger! The one I fell in love with I had passed by several times on the rack.
Beautiful Brides was wonderful to work with. After visiting numerous shops in which the sales consultants picked out the dresses, this was the first store that allowed me and my fa...
mily to browse the dresses. Not only did I find my DREAM dress but I was the one who picked it out! The sales consultant was very patient. We were not rushed and I was able to try on many dresses. The whole experience was incredible and I was able to feel like the "the bride." My dream dress was in my price range and looked amazing on my wedding day. Highly recommended.
Madison does not have the selection or range they should have for wedding dresses. Beautiful brides is a nice option, however limited in thier scope and selection. Most of the dr...
esses you get here you have seen a million times before. I don't necessary blame them, they don't carry high end or new season gowns.
I had a LOT of compliments on my dress. Just wish they did the alterations in that location.
I loved my dress, and I actually had a great time at the shop. It wasn't anything super fancy, not like you'll see on SYTTD shows, but it had a good selection. The person who helpe...
d me was really good about listening to what I was saying I would want, but also about noticing what I liked about dresses I put on and realizing which dress may be the best fit. She ended up pulling a dress off a mannequin that I would never have picked for myself, but once I had it on, I knew it was one!
The service was just OK. We put in a rush order because of the timing of the wedding, and the estimated delivery date changed a couple times. Whenever I'd call to check in, they couldn't really tell me why the date was being pushed back, and they basically asked me to stop calling and relax. The final estimate for the dress was "late August" and it arrived 10 minutes before their store closed on Aug. 31. Talk about down to the wire. I wasn't totally thrilled with their service, but I still loved my dress and would recommend their selection. May be better for brides with more time (our engagement was only 8 months).
The selection is good and the consultants are very knowledgeable. It made shopping a very pleasant experience and I found a beautiful dress.
Beautiful Brides was recommended from multiple friends of my mom's who had purchased dresses from them for their daughter's weddings. It is a small shop but everyone is helpful. ...
I ended up purchasing the first dress I tried on there. The material was much better quality than the dresses I had tried on at David's Bridal.
The negative comment about this store is they don't put the designers on the labels of their dresses. They wouldn't tell me who made the dress until after I purchased it and when they told me, the woman came out from behind the counter and whispered it into my ear so no one else would hear the name. They also didn't want us taking pictures until after the dress was purchased. I understand not wanting to lose business by people trying the dress on and purchasing it elsewhere. I just wanted to be able to look up my dress online while I was waiting for 6 months for it to come in.
The ladies were so sweet to work with here! And I found the most amazing dress here. They have gorgeous dresses at a reasonable price.
I was very happy with my dress...I love it! I went to 19 different stores in 3 states over 3 months and finally found it at Beautiful Brides! To be honest, it was the only dress ...
there that I was interested in (or even liked), but I was happy to find it, nonetheless.
The staff there was friendly, but after a few interations their demeanor slowly declined. The store dressing rooms could be a little more private and a little cleaner, but I was just so happy to find my dress that it didn't really get to me too much.
I found my wedding dress here and the lady I worked with was great! But then I was told it would be 5-6 months for it to come in, it took 7 months and I had to keep calling to see ...
when it was scheduled to be delivered. The fact that there is no alterations on site here you had to look elsewhere which can be tricky. I then asked the store if they could steam my dress before the wedding and it took a couple of days before I heard anything back, and that was me calling them back to get an answer. I believe most of the time this place has friendly staff, especially Rebecca. However, they need to have better training so all employees know the policies and how they work.
I was unimpressed with the selection and service at Beautiful Brides. The dresses were pretty pricey for what we wanted and the sales consultant I was working with knew little to n...
othing about the product and prices for services such as rush delievery. She left us twice to ask another consultant the same question. I ended up going to Vera's for the dresses. They were less expensive, had a shorter rush time, and the rush fee was less.
I absolutely loved my dress, the lady who helped me the first time I was in this store definitely had some attitude but she really knew what she was doing. She knew that the first ...
dress I picked was the one I really wanted...and it was!!
When I returned to the store to try on my dress, the girl that helped me ( I can't remember her name) was wonderful!! She took the time to help me find the accessories that I wanted! I can't say enough good things about this place.
Beautiful Brides was the first place I went to search for a wedding dress. The very first dress I tried on ended up being the one I purchased! My consultant was Rebecca and she was...
kind, patient, and so wonderful to work with. I got both my dress and veil from Beautiful Brides, and both were perfect and exactly what I wanted. The incorrect length of veil had actually originally accidentally been ordered, but when I mentioned it to them they switched it out for the correct one immediately. Both the veil and the dress took a little longer to come in than originally estimated to me by the shop, (the dress was 1 month later, the veil about a week later); however whenever I called to check on the status, the consultants kindly updated me on the status and the new arrival date. I loved this shop and would recommend it!
Their claim to fame is all their dresses are under $1000 - TONS of variety and very helpful sales clerks. Their dressing rooms are drab and only have curtains for doors (awkward wh...
