I had such an amazing experience with Veronica! She is an expert at what she does and was committed to achieving my vision. I love the way my makeup and hair turned out, and so did all of my bridesmaids, mom, MIL, and grandma! Most everyone wanted a more natural look with makeup and we had a variety of hairstyles - I did Hollywood waves and others did updos, had short hair, etc. Veronica works in the industry and has great colleagues and connections. She brought 3 additional artists with her on the day of my wedding and they were all fantastic. My favorite thing about Veronica is how down to earth and authentic she is. We had an easygoing and collaborative communication style and I felt like I was in great hands with her. HIGHLY recommend!!

Veronica is a true professional. I felt totally at ease with her for my Bridal makeup trial, which went wonderfully! I was having problems with my skin and she made me feel so beautiful and confident that I knew I had to book her. She was also super flexible for the day of. My flower girl came down to our rooms and decided she wanted hair and makeup last minute (she's 7 lol) and Veronica made sure to make her feel a part of the day and was able to give her a little makeover after finishing the rest of the party + the moms. Everyone looked FANTASTIC. Veronica is an airbrush and hair queen - I was glowing and my hair looked great all night. I highly recommend Veronica for any of your hair and make up needs. She is amazing and so easy to work with.

I used Veronica's services for my wedding day that included: Bride make-up MOG hair/makeup 6 bridesmaids hair/makeup Veronica was always very responsive, right from the beginning when I reached out for prices and trial availability. I scheduled a trial right at my house, which was so convenient, and she came with all of her lights and tools. Veronica also put together a glam timeline for me based on my numbers of bridesmaids (6!) which was so helpful upon my initial inquiry. Veronica and her girls (one hair stylist and one makeup artist) were great- very professional, attentive, and creative. I had no set requirements for my bridesmaids, I wanted them all to have their own styles, and Veronica's assistants were able to deliver. I had girls who wanted very light/natural make-up, and I had girls who wanted red lips and false lashes. All styles were accommodated. Same for hair- braids, curls, side pony, etc. What I loved was that they worked with any hair accessories or favorite make-up you wanted to incorporate into your look. Veronica, in particular, was great at working with one of the more difficult girls who could not decide on a specific look. Veronica was great with short hair pixie cuts, and also creating the right look for a mother of the groom. As for my bridal make-up, Veronica was the best! The trial really helped us get on the same page about what I know looks best for me (punchy blush and lips, little to no eye makeup). I have clear skin and usually wear no foundation, just spot concealer, but Veronica was able to talk me into airbrush, which was sooooo much lighter than I imagined. It felt like nothing was on my face, but it definitely evened my skin tone as well as my chest/collar bone area. The make-up was great because I looked like myself, but it also showed up really well on camera. She was great at listening to all of our needs and wants, and offering the right suggestions. Also, I found her pricing to be much more fair than some other options in the LA area, so tip her and her girls well!

I'm so glad I chose Veronica to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She's professional, talented, extremely hard working, and through the whole trial process I felt she was so dedicated to making me feel 100% confident and beautiful for the big day - she actually cares about how YOU feel on that day, not just what she thinks would look good. She even had me come in for an extra trial for free because she wanted to make sure she nailed the look I wanted. I felt stunning on my wedding day - my makeup looked fresh and romantic and my hair was perfection - Veronica made me look like the best version of myself! Veronica was very professional and fabulous to work with! I had my wedding at Shade Redondo Beach on the Skydeck in April. A friend recommended using Veronica Lane for the my hair and makeup. With a few inspiration photos, Veronica was able to use her creativity and expertise to create the look that I wanted. In the photos my hair looked amazing and lasted all night! I wanted my makeup to look very natural. It did and it photographed perfectly. Throughout the night guests commented on how beautiful my hair and makeup looked! Veronica was a dream come true. I was having actual nightmares about my hair and makeup for my wedding until I met her. I had 3 trials at other places that were all just ok. None of them made me say, this is the look I want for my wedding. When I had my trial with Veronica, she really listened to my concerns about my hair and we worked together to come up with a look that was absolutely perfect. On the day of my wedding she brought 2 other artists with her to help out with the bridal party. I had 6 bridesmaids plus the 2 moms and everyone received personalized treatment and individual looks that suited them. Everyone was beyond happy with the results. You will be lucky to have Veronica do your makeup and hair.

Veronica and her assistant were both outstanding. She was easy to work with on scheduling. I was not interested in doing a trial run, and she was fine with that. She arrived on time and was ready to go before we were! My makeup was gorgeous - the perfect combination of light enough for daytime and dark enough for the after party. She applied eyelashes to me and all the bridesmaids, and they still looked stunning at brunch the next morning. I highly recommend Veronica to any bride in the LA area!

So glad I decided to work with Veronica for our wedding day. During our trial, I came with a vision, which didn’t suit me. Veronica and I exchanged notes and ideas leading up to the day. I still didn’t know what I really wanted until I sat down with her the day of. She walked me through everything – her suggestions, her reasoning. I sat back and felt at ease as we chatted and Veronica did her magic. Our wedding day was an amazing day, and it started with Veronica’s artistry. I would recommend her services for any occasion. Planning a wedding can be a challenging task in one's own city. But planning it in a different city presents even more. Luckily I was able to find a hair and make up stylist that was happy to drive to Palm Springs from the Los Angeles area. Veronica and her team did a fabulous job on my daughters wedding. And so there were no surprises on the big day, she arranged to come to our houses to do practice hair and makeup. She worked extremely well with the bride and bridal party to create the individual styles requested. Veronica and her team were on time and very professional. I highly recommend using Veronica Lane for hair and makeup for any special occasion.

Veronica did my wedding makeup in February 2013. She is incredibly easy to work with and is just one of those people that gets it. If something isn't exactly right with the makeup, she thinks of creative ways to change the look quickly. Veronica asked a bunch of questions from the start and got a sense of my style. When she came to my house to do a trial, she had some ideas ready and also crafted a look with me live. Veronica is fun to talk with and has a great sense of humor. She kept my mother and me calm on the big day. She also did my mother's makeup and gave her a really nice, natural and upbeat look. After finishing my makeup at the wedding, Veronica left me with gloss and lipstick for touch-ups that I am still using a month later. She has a great eye for color and blending and had high quality products. She also does an amazing job with fake lashes. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

I had 3 different trials and almost gave up until a friend gave me Veronica's info. From the first moment I met her, I felt so taken care of. She understood exactly what I wanted and was so good at her job. I still look at my wedding day pictures and can't believe how relaxed and flawless she made me look! I can't recommend her highly enough.

I can't speak more highly of Veronica's perfectionism and professionalism when it came to doing my hair and makeup for my wedding, engagement shoot, and bridal shower. She is the ultimate perfectionist and wants to please you. Be very clear in what you are looking to accomplish (grab lots of photos) and she will be able to execute flawlessly. Even once your hair is done she will go to great lengths to make sure every strand is in proper order. I was pretty high-maintenance and a perfectionist and she more the exceeded my expectations. In terms of my makeup, she's very good at working with the lighting to get the exact look you want, but also has the professional eye to know when something better might work for your coloring or skin tone. For example, I kept asking for darker browns and she suggested adding a pop of shimmer that absolutely made my eyes glimmer. She totally knows what she is doing. She is a true industry professional who regularly does actress Tatiana Maslany (among others) makeup and hair. To be honest, after working with her about five times, I'm almost sad I don't have another reason to work with her anytime soon. She did two trials with me before the wedding to perfect the look (i changed my mind and wanted something different, so we did another trial to try the "new" look), then she also did my engagement shoot makeup/hair and bridal shower makeup/hair. My photographer actually said my makeup was perfect during our engagement shoot b/c it wasn't at all overdone - I looked natural and pretty, but she was able to alter the shading, etc. to make my eyes pop for the camera. Again, SHE IS A PRO! I truly, truly could not recommend someone more highly for your wedding day. She is fast, a perfectionist, and ultimately wants you to look breathtakingly gorgeous on your day. Oh! And I forgot, she even stayed along during our first look photos, etc. to make sure that no hair was in my eyes, to touch up my foundation, or to add a dab of color to my lips (I felt like a celeb in a photoshoot!). But she did this because, again, she is the ultimate professional. Good luck on your big day!! I hope you choose Veronica. She will make you look like a dream, I promise.

I had the best experience with Veronica and her team who did the hair and makeup for my 5 bridesmaids, 3 moms, and myself. During my trial runs, Veronica immediately understood the look of natural makeup and romantic hair that I wanted and was willing to play around with different styles until we found the perfect one. In addition to making my entire bridal party look absolutely stunning, Veronica has the ability to keep everyone calm during what is a very hectic day. She set me up in a quiet corner away from the chaos and kept the conversation flowing but light. Everyone loved her! My hair and makeup lasted throughout our VERY hot wedding and look perfect in all the photos from the beginning to the end of the day. I really cannot recommend her highly enough. I wish I had more occasions to hire Veronica because I so enjoyed working with her!

Veronica did my hair and makeup for my wedding in May. Veronica really does amazing work. We did two hair trails -- one with hair up and one with hair half up -- but I didn't ultimately decide how I wanted to wear my hair until that morning. Veronica is really excellent at listening to your feedback and guiding you through the process. She does your hair in front of a mirror and asks you for feedback throughout the process, ensuring you get a final result you love. I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. For my makeup, she did airbrush foundation and short lashes; I wanted a fresh, natural look -- and the makeup still looked great at 3 am with no touchups throughout the night. She and her associate also did hair/makeup for my 6 bridesmaids as well, and everyone looked different and gorgeous. It really captured everyone's personalities well. In addition to stunning work, Veronica is really delightful to work with -- she was fun and efficient on the wedding day, making sure everyone was happy with their looks -- and her pricing is competitive; she's really an excellent value for stellar results.

Veronica is such a wonderful person and such an amazing hair and makeup artist! I originally scheduled a trial with another makeup artist, but she became unavailable and referred me to Veronica, stating she would hire Veronica for her own wedding. I scheduled my trial for the morning of my bridal shower and she came to my home and was punctual. She did my hair exactly how I wanted it and I felt extremely confident and beautiful! I hired Veronica for my boudoir shoot as well. She came to the hotel where we had the shoot and was early and set up. The day of my wedding Veronica was again punctual and set up right away. She even brought me a snack! I didn't have a clear picture of what I wanted, but Veronica went off of only what I had told her. She also did my Mom's hair and makeup, and the maid of honor's makeup. She had a young girl with her as an assistant, and I can't remember her name, but she was wonderful as well! The assistant did my mother-in-law's makeup and the flower girl's hair and light makeup. Veronica does such amazing hair and makeup and really listens to what you want. I would definitely recommend her and will hire her again for any event!

Not only is she a wonderful make-up artist and a pro at what she does, she is also a joy to be with. She is the calm before the storm! Weddings are inherently chaotic and stressful - Because Veronica has such great and calming energy sitting in her chair gives you some quiet time to reflect before the fun begins. My best friend is also using her for her upcoming wedding.
