BEAUTIFUL by Katy and Dina

Katy and Dina do excellent work and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a traveling hair and makeup team. (If you're on the fence about having a traveling team or going to a salon, get a traveling team. Getting makeup done in the house where you're getting ready at makes the whole experience so much more relaxing -- it is completely worth the tiny upcharge compared to getting ready at a salon.) Plus, Katy and Dina's work is worth it no matter where they are getting you ready. They do their best to create exactly the look that their clients want. One of my bridesmaids requested a hairstyle change, which Katy efficiently and kindly obliged to, and Dina worked with another bridesmaid to get the contouring just right, even if it took a little longer. The end results are works of art and Katy and Dina make these looks crazily long-lasting. My hair and makeup looked 100% by the end of the night, as did my bridesmaids'. Also, Katy and Dina are consummate professionals. I hope she doesn't mind me sharing this, but Dina hurt herself badly the week before my wedding. She had a full splint on one of her legs and was still obviously in a ton of pain. Until she showed up, on time and ready to work, I had no idea about her injury because her emails were prompt and enthusiastic as always. I will always appreciate the awesome makeup job she gave me and my squad while standing for hours on her bad leg and gritting her teeth through the pain. Know that if you go with Katy and Dina, hell would have to freeze over before they miss a commitment with a client.
