On wedding day, they arrived a little early to set up, and then the entire day went really smoothly. The bridesmaids had a BLAST chatting with Deme & Stacy while we were getting ready, which made the entire experience that much better. Overall, very fun, everyone looked beautiful, they did a great job - would highly recommend!!

From the moment you meet her, Deme knows how to make you feel glowing both on the inside and out! She did such a fantastic job on hair and makeup for both myself and my entire bridal party. She is organized and made sure our entire group remained on schedule, with plenty of time for touch-ups left at the end so we were not stressed. Deme is one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She made me and my bridesmaids feel beautiful inside and out. The makeup and hair were flawless and lasted all day. Deme might be my favorite vendor that I worked with. She has the sweetest, most calming personality and is incredibly talented and reasonably priced. From my initial consultation to my wedding day, Deme was there to reassure me that everything would be perfect for my big day. We got married during a panic-inducing snowstorm in January but that didn’t phase Deme in the least! She arrived right on time and was a big help in keeping me relaxed while we got ready and my makeup – and all my bridesmaids, mom/mother-in-law and flower girls’ makeup – looked amazing! I got so many compliments throughout the night on my makeup.

I’m over a year late with this but if you’re on the fence about getting Deme, just do it! She’s amazing and I had such a wonderful experience with her. I’m the kind of person that wears minimal makeup (mainly to cover blemishes and to look awake at work) and Deme did a great job making me look great for the day without going over the top. She listens to her clients and works with them to find the best look that you will love and be comfortable in throughout your day but still look great in photos. Her pricing is fair and she tends to go above and beyond. She even spent time to research the best way to do hair for my grandmother who was slowly losing her memory and became disoriented. She becomes a friend during your time and if I knew her address I would be sending her a Christmas card. Just get her, you won’t be disappointed :)

Deme was truly amazing! I got married at the end of September in Charlotte, however, I live in Greenville, so it was difficult to find time to come up for my trial. Deme was so accommodating and did my makeup trial the day before, which worked great so my makeup was beyond perfect for my rehersal. My bridal party raved about how much they loved their makeup as well! I had bridesmaids and family members of different skin tones and they were so pleased that Deme was able to match their color perfectly. Deme and her team were absolutely amazing and they did the magic for me (the bride) and my wedding party. Deme and I met for the engagement pics trial and I just gave her some ideas about the make-up palette I prefer in terms of colors and she did great with my make-up, lashes and hair too. I like that she is creative and gives suggestions based on the personal features of face/skin/hair. She made me feel like a princess on my special day! The make-up lasted perfectly 12 hr+ on a very hot day. Last but not the least, she is supportive, patient and able to accomodate some "last minute" additions on the day of the wedding (lashes/ make-up not originally booked for a couple of guests). Also my bridal party was very happy and satisfied by make-up and hair and we all got so many compliments, as we resulted to have a very elegant and classy style. Pics result is great too. Surely I highly recommend working with Deme and her team for your special day: you will be very happy and gorgeous!

Before having met Deme, I had a hair & makeup trial with another vendor, and it was not a positive first experience. I confided in Deme about all my heightened insecurities and could not have been more comfortable doing so. I am usually very minimalistic and traditional when it comes to doing my own hair & makeup and didn’t want to look unlike myself for my wedding. However, I still wanted to look and feel special and “pop” in photographs. Deme took the time out to collaborate with me in person and over the phone many times (as many as I needed) as my wedding day approached. What a patient, kind, personable, passionate, and creative professional! When I needed an opinion, she shared hers with me openly and explained the basis of her suggestions. When I felt unsure, she cared to know what I was thinking/feeling and solved any issues brilliantly. She truly heard me and used all her experience and expertise to make me feel beautiful on my big day. Not to mention, my entire wedding party, my mother, and my husband’s mother haven’t stopped raving about their experiences with Deme and her assistant, Adrian, either. We all had a blast of a morning getting ready with these two incredible women! I could not have a more genuine recommendation or express a more heartfelt gratitude. I am still awaiting professional photos to be completed and sent to me but cannot wait to update this review with them!

Deme and her team were awesome for my son's wedding. They provided hair and make-up and I can't say enough nice things about how great the bridal party looked. My mom and sisters were so impressed they asked (at the last minute) if they could get hair and make-up services too, and Deme and her team didn't bat an eye! Definitely a 5-star service and outcome for such an important day for my entire family, the bride's family and the bridal party itself! I highly recommend hiring Deme for a "practice" round too because we did that for the bride and mothers (of the bride and me of the groom), so Deme knew exactly what we wanted day of the wedding. Deme was a joy to work with! She is sweet, kind, patient, and listened to how I felt about my hair and makeup. Deme offered a hair and makeup trial which was so helpful to meet her ahead of the big day and to see what my visions for hair and makeup would look like. She did a fabulous job and the natural look was perfect. We used airbrush too but the makeup did not look caked on and I still felt like myself. They were on schedule, were able to add a few additional services (lashes) and was able to fit in a hairstyle that wasn't originally on the schedule! And I have to say, it was so relaxed and not stressful at all! It was fun! I loved my hair and makeup. I felt so beautiful for my special day as well as my bridal party. Everyone really loved how their hair styles and make up came out. Nothing was over done - it was simple, elegant and highlighted their features and outfits. I would highly recommend using this team for your wedding needs!

The trial was perfect and really helped me to get a feel of how I wanted to look on my wedding day and Deme eased all of my worries. The big day came and Deme was right on time and set the tone for the whole day. She was even ahead of schedule with all my ladies which was amazing and they all looked incredible. Deme provided service for my hair and makeup, hair for my 6 ladies, AND the groom’s mother’s makeup and took care with each person making sure they felt beautiful. I was looking for a hair and makeup artist for some time. I found Deme on the knot and fell in love with her natural style of hair and makeup. I really wanted to find someone who would listen to what I wanted. I really appreciated the attention to detail and her overall professional and kindness throughout the whole process. It snowed on my wedding day and I had a few vendors cancel on me the last minute but not Deme. I received a phone call the evening before informing me that she would be driving up to Concord and rent a hotel room in the area. Simply to make sure she would be able to travel to me in the morning Incase the weather took a turn for the worst. This is just how thoughtful Deme is. She goes beyond and I am so thankful she was there for me on my big day.

Loved working with Deme and her second Stacy! They were absolutely amazing on the wedding day and even before for the trial. Deme had to use extensions in my hair, since my hair is on the shorter side and I wanted an up-do, and they matched perfectly! She did such an amazing job with the extensions that no one knew I had them in. I appreciated Deme's attention to detail, professionalism, and customization of her services. I definitely loved what she did with my mom's hair and, of course, my wedding party, including my hesitant husband, who needed a man bun.. The makeup was also a highlight of the night! Everyone had such positive comments about our looks and we didn't have issues with the makeup coming off. Deme thoughtfully put together an emergency kit with my customized lip color for touchups and other items potentially needed, though my makeup never came off! My makeup was still good when I was traveling to our honeymoon destination that night! I could not recommend Deme and her services enough!

I was very overwhelmed with planning when I moved to CLT. We finally had nailed down a venue and I was like how am I going to find someone to do hair and makeup in a new city?! I found Deme because she was recommended to me (thank god for Facebook groups) by another bride she worked with another bride that had a wedding at the same venue as me. From the start Deme was very transparent and honest! And when we met for my trial it was as if we knew each other for years! She was amazing! She made all of the girls in our wedding party look FLAWLESS and to this day I still get compliments about it. She was super friendly, worked quickly and efficiently and was very personable. Her work is AMAZING. I am happy to now call Deme a friend.

Deme was a dream to work with from the very start. She’s a great communicator, especially planning a wedding from afar. She put up with all of my last minute changes, one of those the night before the wedding in scheduling and the day of the wedding, she was on time and did my hair and makeup exactly how I wanted. She was determined to help me execute on my vision and work with me to find the right color. On the day of my wedding, she took her time with my entire bridal party and everyone was astounded by her kindness and attention to detail. She was able to accommodate all lengths of hair and was so flexible and adaptable. Deme is a true perfectionist, evidenced by how much time she spent making sure my bun was centered. Deme and Pa were amazing in every way for my wedding day!
