I can't say enough wonderful things about Kara. First, as someone with naturally curly hair, it was very hard and discouraging searching for a bridal stylist that, based on their portfolio, worked with or was comfortable working with curly hair that didn't involve straightening or pulling it back in a pony tail. I searched for a while and found photos of Kara's that I liked so I booked a trial - I was not disappointed. In fact, I was so incredibly relieved to find someone that not only could work with my hair and create something beautiful, but embraced my desire to keep it natural. This was extremely important to me as I wanted to feel and look like myself on my wedding day, and Kara took the time to listen to that. My makeup trial was just as fantastic. I loved it how it came out and was confident on the wedding day hair and makeup would turn out amazing. Day of, Kara showed up early with her teammate Kelly and they set everything up for us. They stuck to the timeline and got us all ready on time, and made the process enjoyable, too. My bridesmaids, mom, and MIL all loved how they came out! As for me, I couldn't be happier with the results. My hair and makeup stayed ALL DAY LONG, all I had to reapply was lipstick occasionally and blot. Nothing moved - and I sweat (and cried) A LOT. As a person, Kara is just the sweetest. You can tell she really loves and takes pride in what she does and making the bride feel the most beautiful they've ever felt. She's funny and kind, cares about what you want, and just a great person to talk to. During the process of planning she even gave me styling tips and helped me pick out my wedding day accessories. On my big day, she took my dreamy vision of simplicity-meets-whimsy and made it a RADIANT reality. From trial to aisle, Kara worked with me to put together exactly the look I wanted. An elegant yet loose low bun and makeup that emphasized my eyes and narrow face -- yet remaining simple and light so it felt like I had nothing on. Kara is a miracle worker! She's super easy to work with, really listened and understood my vision, and made me look super beautiful for my big day! She came early on a rainy Saturday morning and went to work! She and her assistant Kelly also made my mom and bridesmaids look beautiful too! Hiring Kara was the best decision I made!! She was professional, always replied quickly, and was amazing at communication, she gave me great advice and had a huge amount of knowledge. I’ve changed my dress style multiple times and she was able to help advise on the hair and make up style that would work best for me and my dress. We also changed venues five days before the wedding and our timeline, and she was extremely understanding, and was able to make everything happen. Her materials are such high-quality and lasted all day. I did not need to reapply anything but if I did, i had additional products that she provided, which was a lifesaver in case anything happened. She did a beautiful updo on my very short hair, and it stayed in all night. She also did hair and make up for two of my bridesmaids and they both love it. we had such an amazing time that morning! I would recommend her to anyone looking for make up and hair. I my self did so much research and due to my work schedule I was not able to do a trial run for anything, but based on her experience, website, and all the positive things I have heard I was very confident to hire her for my wedding without a trial run!!!! I’m so excited to book her in the future for other events, such as being a wedding guest, because she took so much stress away from me and I couldn’t have imagined anyone else doing my hair and make up for my wedding.

I'll never be able to put into words how amazing Kara (and her work) is. From our initial discussion about my wedding, Kara was super communicative, warm and made me feel totally at ease. During my wedding makeup trial in February, I KNEW I made the right decision. I don't typically wear any makeup, so a full face of full coverage makeup intimidates me, but Kara absolutely nailed the soft glam look I wanted. She took her time with me and asked all the right questions. I walked away from my trial feeling so excited for my wedding day that I booked Kara for hair and makeup for my shower in May and again, Kara made me feel beyond beautiful (I so wish I had hired her for my wedding day hair as well). In June, on my wedding day, Kara was there bright and early with the best energy I could have asked for. She was the ultimate hype woman, brought only the best vibes, and was such a LIGHT to spend time with on the morning of. The end result was a natural, soft glam look that lasted from noon until midnight. My 3 bridesmaids and mom all look gorgeous and loved their makeup, too. I've never felt as beautiful as I have when Kara's done my makeup and would HIGHLY recommend this gem of a woman and artist to everyone...and can't wait for another opportunity to hire her.

Kara was the perfect fit for my wedding! She showed up on time, we so organized and responsive through out the whole process and her crew on the wedding day was fantastic too. I had 8 bridesmaids, myself and my mom getting out hair and makeup done and we finished early! Highly recommend.

I literally do not have enough good things to say about Kara. From my first conversation with her, she was easy to talk to and made me feel super comfortable. She was communicative, warm and quick to respond to emails. She spent a long time with me during my trial refining my makeup to get the look I wanted and didn't charge me for a second hair trial when I decided I wanted to wear my hair down instead of up. On the day of, we ended up going with a different style of curl (and generally a fairly different hairstyle in general) than either of my trials, and she still absolutely nailed it. As someone who generally does not wear a lot of makeup (but is also fairly Type A), I'm fairly picky about how makeup looks on my face. My makeup was light, natural and glowy exactly as I wanted and I truly just felt like the most beautiful version of myself. My makeup also lasted all day in summer heat and humidity and still looked amazing when I went to bed 16 hours later. Kara's team was also great and my bridesmaids, mom and MIL also all looked beautiful and loved their hair & makeup. Oh and Kara was also just a super lovely person to spend the morning of my wedding with. Lowkey looking for any excuse to hire her again so I can hang with her and feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day!

Kara is an absolute gem to work with and was amazing through every step of the journey. She is absolutely professional yet still so down to earth and you just want to be her friend. She was exactly the type of person I wanted to be there on my wedding day. It’s a chaotic day and when you are full of nerves you want someone there who will calm you down. She makes you feel as though she is a girlfriend you have known for years that just happens to be doing your hair and makeup. I have always struggled with looking at myself in mirrors or pictures and felt nervous that all eyes would be on me for my wedding day. Kara gave me the best gift anyone could ask for and that is confidence. I felt beautiful on my wedding day and I don’t think I could have that feeling without her. My hair stayed up all night long and my makeup looked just as good at the end of the night as it did when she first put it on. I can’t tell you how many compliments I got on both my hair and makeup. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kara and am in awe of her incredible skills and professionalism (and ability to roll with all the punches!). It almost makes me want to get married again so I can do it all again (if my husband is reading this…I’m just kidding) You won’t regret working with her!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Kara. Not only was I beyond thrilled with every element of my hair and makeup on the day of, but she also is the most kind, calm, and fun person and I just loved that she was there to help me get ready on the big day! She is such an artist – she really listened to what I wanted and what each of my bridesmaids wanted and then delivered exactly! Everyone’s makeup lasted the entire night (and into the after party!!!) and I got multiple requests to share her info with friends so they can use her for their weddings! She even last minute helped put a little makeup on my back for an emerging bacne concern with my backless dress. She patiently explained her whole makeup routine to Grandma as she was doing my makeup! And my hair! Seriously it was perfect and exactly as I had envisioned. I’m sad I don’t have an excuse to see her again!!!!

I was lucky enough to have Kara beautify me, my Mom, my MIL, and my bride tribe on my wedding day. I knew from the trial that I made the right decision. Kara's talent is unmatched and her eye for knowing which look is the right look is truly a gift. I am someone that puts moisturizer on my face, lets my hair air dry most days and good to go! Kara created such a beautiful, glamorous, romantic makeup look on me while still keeping me looking like myself. I had about 89 photos of hair on my camera and as soon as I showed Kara my dress she recommended the hair style to match. Upon seeing my final look on my wedding day I was brought to tears (which I held back as I did not want to ruin my look)! I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt on my wedding day and truly like a bride! My entire bride tribe enjoyed the morning having Kara and incredible team there. Everyone loved their looks and the fact that it stayed perfect all day! I could not believe when I went to finally go to sleep and my hair and makeup was still perfect (through our church wedding, a reception on the water, beach photos, lots of dancing and lots of hugs). Kara is the only makeup artist I let touch my face- so when it came time for the most important makeup application of my life, it was no question Kara would be the one to do my bridal makeup. Kara is a true artist. She works with your natural beauty and enhances it. She listens to exactly what you want and makes it happen. She makes your vision come to life. I can’t put into words how gorgeous I felt on my wedding day. The makeup wasn’t caked on at all which was a huge concern of mine..the makeup felt light and comfortable all day which is huge. It also stayed on for the long day pretty perfectly. Aside from doing everything to make me feel stunning, Kara made me feel like the most important person in the world. She offered opinions when asked and offered suggestions if there was anything that felt off. She also kept me on a perfect schedule which is so important when there’s so much to do in so little time. I was SO happy with both my hair and makeup, thanks to Kara. I had scheduled a trial a few months before my wedding and Kara nailed exactly what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like. Afterwards, she was in touch to make sure that everything was perfect and if any adjustments needed to be made. She replicated the same look for the day of. Kara also did my mother's makeup. My mom doesn't wear very much and isn't used to having her makeup done. Kara did a flawless job and my mother looked stunning. Kara is professional and easy to talk to. It was such a great feeling to start off my wedding day knowing that I didn't need to worry about my hair and makeup for the rest of the day. Kara is absolutely amazing! I felt comfortable and heard right from the beginning. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and wanted something light and natural for my wedding so I still looked and felt like myself. Kara understood that and I felt amazing with what she did. After my trial (and about 2 months before my wedding) I impulsively cut off a lot of my hair. Kara rolled with my hair cut and the end result was perfect! All of my girls looked and felt beautiful and that was thanks to Kara and her team!

As soon as I met Kara we hit it off right away! We discussed in detail what my vision was and I showed her pictures of what I was looking for. At the very first try she got my make up exactly the way I envisioned it. I’m very picky about hair styles and we tried a couple of different styles…the day of my wedding she styled it so perfectly that I couldn’t have asked for a better look. Her glam team are really sweet and professional. I highly recommend, and have already recommended, Kara for all your beauty style needs!

Kara is very talented and made me look stunning on my wedding day! She has done my makeup before and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else do my wedding makeup/hair. She was the first vendor I knew I had to book as soon as I was engaged. Not only did she do my makeup and hair, but also did a second hair styling after the ceremony since I wanted my hair down for the reception. She made me look glammed up, but still like myself. I felt beautiful and my makeup looked perfect until I washed my face at the end of the night. Kara helped me create a timeline for the bridesmaids, was always available for questions I had, was punctual, was there for touch ups before the ceremony, and was super helpful during the planning process. Kara is absolutely AMAZING!! Her professionalism and punctuality is outstanding. She made myself and all of my girls feel their best. We have nothing but good things to say, and the amount of compliments everyone got were too many to count!! Between the hair and make up-everyone felt like a queen!! I have a massive amount of hair (thick and long) and the technique she used kept me comfortable all night and my hair stayed put…131 pins later!! Kara is an absolute GEM! For my elopement I had wanted my hair to resemble 1940s Hollywood Glam and my makeup to have a badass edge - a winged liner, my jaw to look like it could cut glass... all with a romantic touch. And Kara DELIVERED! Not only is she immensely talented but on the day of my elopement, she noticed body language changed and she was very kind to excuse us so I can have a moment to get rid of whatever jitters I was feeling. I didn't have family or friends with us that day but Kara felt like the friend I needed for this moment and she did not have to go that extra mile for me. I ended up looking like a mega babe, filled with joy and laughter, before I exchanged vows with my husband. I cannot recommend her enough - she truly is one of the greatest.

Kara was the makeup artist for both of my daughters' weddings. She is amazing. Not only is she extremely talented and professional, she is beyond kind and a pleasure to work with. Both my daughters wanted their makeup to look natural and not overly done. Kara listened to what they said and we received tons of compliments on our makeup. I actually found Kara in a bridal Facebook group. After rescheduling so many times, my initial hair person was no longer available. I reached out to Kara and she was able to fit me in two months before our wedding! I went for a trial and immediately booked her. She understood the look I was asking for. It was bohemian but elegant. Kara was organized and easy to work with. I loved my bridal hair. While doing my hair, she made sure that I liked it and made any little changes to ensure it was perfect. A direct quote from one of my bridesmaids was that she “completely nailed” the style! That same bridesmaid is getting married next year and asked for Kara’s information! I can’t thank Kara enough for fitting us in so last minute and being apart of our beautiful wedding day!

Kara and her crew were beyond amazing! Kara was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. I got engaged in the March of 2020 & was married March 2021. Kara was there for the whole process - traveled to my home to give me a trial for my shower. I decided to switch up what I wanted last minute & Kara made it come to life. I am SUPER particular but Kara was able to accommodate all my requests with kindness & grace! My husband said he was so happy that I looked like myself on our wedding day (exactly what I wanted). Kara and her girls arrived promptly & got all of my 8 bridesmaids through hair & makeup quickly but attention to detail was not spared. I can not recommend Kara more for your special day. Kara is as beautiful on the inside, as she is on the outside. Throughout the wedding planning process, she supported my change of hearts related to my hair and makeup, and offered pros/cons to my thoughts and ideas. She was always patient and very kind. I was referred to Kara by a friend when I was looking for help with my make-up for my bridal shower in October. I was so impressed by her work that I immeditely begged her to do my wedding on December 4th. Fast forward to November 21st & my vendor contacted me and told us due to an expected shut down because of COVID restrictions in the area they wnted to push my wedding up to November 25th - JUST FOUR DAYS LATER! I reached out to Kara & she was such a great sport about the change in plans. She made herself available and was so understanding of the stress I was under trying to replan this wedding with only 4 days left. She is ALWAYS on time & ready to work, she is professional but extremely personable & from her confidence & skill can calm even the most anxious bride (me!). Her time management is perfect down to the second, but her work is so flawless it looks like it took hours. Kara is a true gem, she was so helpful though out the entire process. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for in terms of makeup and she helped me create a look that I could’ve never envisioned. I felt completely myself, which was very important to me because I’m not a huge makeup wearer and was nervous that I wouldn’t look like myself. I’ve known Kara for many many years and have followed her on social media and was always so impressed with her work. It was no surprise then, as soon as I had my date confirmed, Kara was the first person I reached out to. Thankfully she was available! During my trial I explained what my daily makeup routine consisted of which is basically just eye shadow and mascara. I told her I wanted to still look like me the day of the wedding. She really listened to my wants and I was super happy with the trial. What she did on my wedding day was even more incredible. I have never been as beautiful as Kara made me look and feel! She took my routine and enhanced it and, I have to say I looked stunning. Even my friend’s husband commented on how good my makeup and the makeup of my mother and bridesmaids looked. I have never heard him say anything about makeup in my life so that right there is a true testament to how good she is! Not only is she talented, she’s very organized. She had to do makeup for 5 bridesmaids, my mom and me and arrived promptly and kept us all on schedule. She worked well and constantly communicated with our hair team so that they could stay on schedule as well. If you hire Kara you will absolutely not be disappointed. She has a way of enhancing one's features without taking away from their natural beauty. I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, thanks to Kara. Leading up to the wedding, Kara was very flexible and accommodating. She allowed both me and my mom to do make-up trials, as my mom had never had her makeup done before. When it came to my lashes, she tried 3 different kinds for me until we found a match. It was comforting to know I was in good hands for my big days! The other great thing about Kara is she knows the best people in the business. This was important for my wedding day since I had a large wedding party and she had to bring in reinforcements. She brought another person who complimented her mak-up style perfectly, and all of my girls looked perfect! There were even girls who did not plan to get their make-up done, but after seeing how beautiful we all looked, changed their minds! Kara is no doubt the best in the business. Kara did my makeup for my wedding and it came out perfect!! I’m very picky because I love makeup and know what works for me. Kara went above and beyond and after the trail I knew she was who I wanted to use for my wedding day. Every bridesmaid was so happy with how their makeup came out and everyone looked truly stunning. She also did my moms makeup (who doesn’t wear a lot normally and is very difficult to do any eye makeup) but kara was amazing and I’ve never seen my mom look more beautiful!
