We do require a minimum of 4 ladies for hair and 4 ladies for makeup when booking hair or makeup.

The hair and makeup team for my wedding were absolute rock stars! From the moment they arrived until the last touch-up, they demonstrated the utmost professionalism, skill, and creativity. Kenzie worked wonders with my hair, turning my vision into a stunning reality. Kenzie listened attentively to what I wanted and also offered valuable suggestions. My hair held up perfectly throughout the day, despite a bit of wind, thanks to Kenzie’s expert styling and choice of products. When it came to makeup, Andrea was a true artist in every sense. Andrea enhanced my and my bridal party’s natural beauty while ensuring that we felt comfortable and confident. The makeup not only looked flawless but also lasted throughout the day and night. The eyelash extensions she used were stunning! Andrea’s attention to detail and ability to create diverse looks for the bridal party were impressive. What made this team exceptional was their ability to manage time effectively. They kept to the schedule, ensuring that everyone was ready well before the ceremony. Their calm and friendly demeanor also helped ease any pre-wedding jitters. Not only were they skilled professionals, but they were also a pleasure to work with. They created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere during the preparation process, which is something every bride needs on her big day. In summary, our hair and makeup team were instrumental in making us look and feel our best on our wedding day. Their talent, professionalism, and ability to deliver outstanding results were remarkable. We booked Beauty and the Belief for our wedding to do hair and makeup for seven bridesmaids and myself (the bride). They were on time, professional and their work was beautiful!! Couldn't have asked for more from a beauty team.

Not impressed with their time management during the wedding, arrived and started late, and didn't come close to finishing on time. Missed helping my daughter dress due to this and her first look and artist had to rush through my makeup as wedding was due to start. They made a mistake in quoting the final payment at the wedding. My daughter paid the day of the wedding, but it was an amount quoted in error by the company. When Shayla realized her mistake she proceeded to message my daughter the NIGHT OF HER WEDDING and the two days following, threatening to send her to collections by Friday if not paid in full by then. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!

Shayla is absolutely amazing at what she does! She’s the only one in Bozeman that I trust with my color and cuts. I have also had her do my hair and makeup for a wedding photo shoot and I felt absolutely beautiful. Her salon offers such a relaxing atmosphere, and the team adds an experience that is just icing on the cake. Shayla is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, she is an absolute pleasure to work with.

My sister just got married and used beauty and the belief for the bridal party hair and makeup. I will say their work was good, everyone looked good... but based on other issues I would NOT recommend them! When I got my hair done I wasn’t sure about the finished product... and when I asked for something to be fixed I was made to feel like I was being difficult... but more importantly They started late and Shalya knew and confirmed via text that everyone had to be done by 230pm, but she told her staff 4:15 (the wedding started at 4)... I have been waiting to help my sister into her wedding dress my whole life... but because they were late and did not guide us to having the bride and myself done first (which had been specifically discussed)...I completely missed helping my sister get dressed for her wedding. Her first look was supposed to be at 2pm and I was still in the makeup chair at 215... that’s when the stylists realized they had been told the wrong time and they expressed displeasure aloud with shayla and then said ‘well we can whip the rest out’. During this time My sister was stressed because of the time and others helped her into her dress. At the end of the event I was present when my sister asked the balance of services and she wrote a check for the amount stated. On my sisters WEDDING NIGHT Shayla texted saying she made a mistake and had showed them another brides balance... that the amount was more... Shalya then texted the following two days with increasing urgency... my sister responded (and mind you my sister works near them in the same town...she wasn’t going anywhere) and said she wanted to review a few things about the service and would be in contact.. never said she would not pay the balance. Shayla sent additional messages and then threatened to send her to collections if the check wasn’t received by the end of the week (this is all within 4 days of the wedding) Seriously!?!?!? What if my sister was out of the country on her honeymoon. Completely unprofessional and downright harassment. Maybe she doesn’t have enough money to pay her employees but that is her fault... she should have told my sister the right amount the night of the wedding and not confused her was another bride. Bottom line.. if you want to look good but don’t care about being late to your wedding and harassed... hire beauty and the belief) 😡

My 5 bridesmaids and I absolutely loved Emily Pattengale. I had a wedding in the county and Emily came to my house to style our hair. My hair looked elegant, it stayed curled and held all night! ( That is very rare for me) My bridesmaids hair looked gorgeous all night long! Emily communication skills were great, she was very prompt and professional. She immediately fit in with my group of friends and helped make the whole experience that much more fun! I can't thank her enough! Thank you Emily Pattengale!

Shayla did a great job!! We had a large group of 9 women and everyone was done on time and looked beautiful! I know nothing about make up and had no idea what to tell Shayla that I wanted. She had to create a look with zero direction and it looked great! I hate things near my eye and she was very patient with me when putting on my eyelashes. She also did my hair and make up for my engagement photos. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

Shayla was amazing and such a joy to work with. I do not live in Montana and she was flexible with scheduling my trial for HMU. Shayla and another girl from her team did mine and 3 bridesmaids HMU in about 2 hours. It was nice that we didn't have to spend all morning getting ready and it was a quick and fun process. They both did fantastic and we looked GREAT for the big day!

Shayla was great! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding day in Big Sky. She drove out early to do hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, mother in law and mom. She got all of us done super fast and in time to get some pictures done before the ceremony. I'm don't normally wear makeup and told her I wanted a natural look. It came out amazing and lasted all night. She put my hair in an updo and also put in some hair extensions for me so it was fuller. It also lasted all night. I totally recommend her!
