Katlyn and Mackenzie were amazing with our bridal party! I got so many compliments on how stunning and natural my makeup looked. Katlyn did exactly what I asked for - but even bett...
er. She was so easy to work with, super calm, professional, and very accommodating. She even helped my husband with a blemish (thank you!) and stayed late for some pictures that my photographer requested. I know I’ll be hiring Katlyn again for future events!
I got married in June 2019 and cannot say enough amazing things about Beauty Artist Group & specifically Katlyn & Amanda. Katlyn was a sweetheart and really put my mind at ease wh...
en I first met her at my makeup trial. I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup day-to-day so I was worried about how I would look with professional makeup on. She nailed the “natural” look perfectly and I was so excited for my wedding day! For my hair trial, Amanda was extremely patient with me as I had no idea what I really wanted. I showed her a lot of inspiration pictures and she came up with something amazing. She spent a ton of time with me at my trial to put a few things together until I was pleased with it.
On the actual wedding day, I completely changed my mind for my hair and Amanda without hesitation had no issues. She was calm and was more concerned about me looking exactly how I wanted to look and would do anything to make me happy! Not to mention she lent me a hairpiece free of charge because the one I originally had did not go with my new up-do. Talk about professional service – unbelievable! I could not be happier with how Katlyn & Amanda made me look and feel. I felt absolutely gorgeous! My hair & makeup lasted the whole day/night (it was a pretty warm summer day!) throughout pictures, dancing, CRYING! and all :) I also had 7 bridesmaids and the whole process was seamless. The girls did not waste a second and took care of my bridesmaids & I with 100% care & dedication. The Beauty Artist Group team showed up early and did not leave until everything was perfect. My bridesmaids looked stunning and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to ease all my worries on this frantic day. Their pricing was reasonable especially for the NJ area & the service I was provided. I still keep in touch with Katlyn today because she has become a friend and not just a one-day ordeal for me. If you are in the market for professional hair or makeup, Beauty Artist Group is the perfect fit for any occasion.
Amazing! I had a disastrous first hair trial and was freaking out before I found Beauty Artist Group. Jasmine did an INCREDIBLE job with my hair. I have never felt more glamorous a...
nd beautiful in my entire life thanks to her. I was happy with my trial, but my hair turned out even better on my wedding day. And it stayed put through pictures, and dancing, and tears! Jasmine and Stephanie handled me, my 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandma with such ease. They showed up early, kept the girls moving, and we had extra time to touch everyone up at the end. They made everything so stress free for me, and I was so happy with they way everything turned out. Thank you Jasmine and Stephanie! You were amazing!
I can not even begin to explain how perfect that Amanda & Katlyn made my entire weekend. The two of them are literally some of the kindest, most patient, fun, loving, warm, calming...
people I have ever met in my life. I literally could not have imagined this weekend without them. You made both Friday and Saturday SO FREAKING INCREDIBLE I can not believe how stunning everyone looked.
The two of them are literally artists and I love them both so much - people could not get over how good my hair and makeup looked both nights. They have such an innate ability to take a simple photo and emulate it SO quickly and easily. I am looking at some of the photos that our photographer has already sent to us and I can not get over how I look and it is literally all thanks to Beauty Artist Group. I can not wait to recommend their services to everyone because I need to spend more time w the two of them. Moreover, EVERYONE looked gorgeous. My entire bridal party. Not just the people that Katlyn and Amanda did. They brought three additional hair and three additional makeup artists. I have never been in a bridal party where everyone loved how they looked before my wedding weekend. They were all so wonderful!
I met Amanda and Katlyn during my hair trial. I didn't do makeup service with Katlyn but she still offered me some tips during my trial on how i should prep for my wedding day. The...
y were both so friendly and professional. Katlyn was quick to respond to any questions i had throughout the months leading to my big day. On the day of my wedding, Amanda showed up right on time. I had a whole new different style idea than what we did at my trial and Amanda did an AMAZING job! I'm usually a hard to please person but i have to admit, i LOVED my hair! and it lasted all night which is hard to do since my hair is so thin and curls don't usually last. My 8yr old niece/flower girl also loved her style. Thank you Amanda for making me feel beautiful!
I worked with Katlyn and Amanda for my hair and makeup for my wedding. They were absolutely amazing! I was able to set up as many trials as I wanted while they were completely will...
ing and accommodating. On the day of my wedding, they made me feel so beautiful while also looking like myself. All of my bridesmaids were so happy with their looks, as well. They listened to exactly what I wanted and envisioned for my day and they were able to make me look exactly how I wanted to look. They were on time and I didn’t need to worry at all the day of my wedding. I would absolutely recommend.

r and makeup would work with my outfit. They were responsive to critiques and both super confident and easy to work with. Highly recommend.
I can't say enough thanks to Kaitlyn and her team. When there was an issue with the hotel accommodations, her team showed up early (2+ hours away from her home base) to make sure t...
hat my entire bridal party looked their best. I was so worried that with the hotel fiasco that someone's makeup wasn't going to be done. Not only did her team go above and beyond they made sure everyone looked on point! Thank you so much for all your help!
WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN!?!?! Beauty Artist Group made me feel like a queen on my wedding day. I had a very large bridal party (MOH, 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and a flower girl). They we...
re on time and ready to go! We had an amazing time with the girls getting ready and they were so professional. Each girls hair and makeup were done to perfection. Katlyn was so accommodating and easy to work with. Amanda did my hair PERFECTLY. I received so many compliments. I cannot recommend the Beauty Artist Group enough!! Thank you for your hard work! You guys are so amazing and talented.

I started off my search for a company that did both hair & makeup for weddings – a one stop shop that would travel to us for wedding day preparation. Beauty Artist Group had compet...
itive prices and great reviews, so I signed a contract for bridal hair and makeup, as well as hair and makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and the Mother of the Bride. I booked pretty early, and decided to have my trial about 5 months out from the wedding. Katlyn set up my bridal trial at their office in Millburn. Katlyn did an airbrushed makeup trial for me, while Amanda worked on getting the perfect look I wanted for my hair. I left feeling as though the airbrush makeup was not for me, and you could see every pore on my face. Katlyn was absolutely amazing when she followed up on the makeup and offered to re-do the trial with traditional makeup at no additional cost to me. I went back to the salon and tried the traditional foundation, and it turned out I was still not 100% satisfied with the way the foundation looked on my skin. Long story short, I decided only to move forward with the hair services from Beauty Artist Group for my wedding. Katlyn could not have been more understanding and accommodating, which was a breath of fresh air, as I was nervous to change our contract. She was truly professional when it came to my scenario. As far as the wedding, Amanda arrived at about 6:45am, and worked over the next several hours to complete a bridal braid up do, 4 bridesmaid hairstyles and an up do for the Mother of the Bride. Amanda was able to finish everyone’s hair with plenty of time to spare! Everyone was happy with the way their hair came out, especially ME! My bridal up do was just how I had pictured it, and it did not move all night! I would highly recommend working with Beauty Artist Group for any prospective brides out there!
We had four members working on my bridal group for my wedding. They were all fantastic. After my make-up trial, there were a few changes I wanted to make. They were very cognizant ...
of those changes and I (and my husband) could not be happier with how my make-up turned out. They also listened to all the ladies and did a wonderful job for them as well. Everyone's make-up stayed the entire time, including my lipstick. I also loved how Gillian did my hair and incorporated my hair piece. Unfortunately, the wedding was mostly outside on a somewhat windy day, so it did start to lose the curl pretty quickly, not really making it past the ceremony. So I would say my only suggestion would be that they gave some suggestions as to how to handle if the hair starts to fall, like easy ways to pin something or put it up without it looking bad. But, overall, I was very pleased and would definitely have used them again.

their time on each girl to make sure we looked perfect. They were fun, professional, and amazing at what they do best. Everyone should be so lucky to have them help with glamming for the big day!

!! The Beauty Artist team made all of us feel comfortable and they made us look beautiful!! I would highly recommend them.
I booked BAG after working with them as a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding. At my wedding, I had 11 bridesmaids, myself, and my mother getting hair and make up done. They arrived ...
early, even bringing an extra person to help out (was told 5 people and they brought 6). They helped keep the day running smoothly and on time. We never felt rushed for time at all and on top of that, all of my bridesmaids praised them for how much attention and time they each got. Everybody looked stunning! I heard so many times how good they all felt in their hair and makeup (and being a bridesmaid myself a few times - I know how rare that is!). Katlyn and Amanda - the two who did my hair and makeup - were amazing. They went above and beyond, even helping out with things they didn’t need to! (like Amanda helping my mom button my dress !). I was so thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out. The company was a little hard to communicate with and get in touch with the months leading up to the wedding which stressed me out. It did make me a little nervous going into the day, but day of - everybody was amazing and a pleasure to work with! They are truly phenomenal at hair and makeup!

iming and were in touch every step of the way... I have personally had horror stories with getting my hair and makeup done for weddings I was in in the past and can honestly say that all of the artists who came to help us glam up for the big day were so incredibly talented, professional and fun to work with! Katlyn did my bridal makeup and not only did it not budge all night but it really popped in all the photos. She did it so tastefully and with such intricacy to make sure she helped make me look beautiful but still like me... I felt like such a movie star!!! :) Beauty Artist Group was the best in quality of all the Hair/MU artists I looked at but they were also the most reasonably priced! I could not be happier with my experience and have already recommended them to family and friends who are recently engaged (you all included! ;) )
Gillian and her team did makeup and hair for my bridesmaids and family members and could not have been better! Everyone loved them! Her team was very professional, prompt, recepti...
ve to everyone's needs, and very accommodating. Everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup that day. I highly recommend Beauty Artist Group for your event!! (And although they are based in NJ - my wedding was in Manhattan and they arrived onsite at 9am, right on time!) It was so great to have a team who could handle both hair and makeup -- and I should mention, they did 11 ladies that day! They have a great system and got everyone done on time and beautifully!

iries before the wedding, and making sure everything was set for the actual day. Myself, my mom, and 5 bridesmaids had our hair and makeup done for my wedding. Gillian made sure we stayed on schedule all day. Kaitlyn did an amazing job with my makeup and we all received compliments all night long! Thank you Beauty Artist Group for making us look absolutely stunning!
I am late to writing my review about wonderful Gillian and her team. I had a large bridal party of 10, plus mom, stepmom, grandma...you name it and I had it. From the time I met Gi...
llian at my trial to that special day, she was always kind, patient, and an absolute perfectionist. She understood exactly what I wanted and recommended a certain type of trim to my hair before my big day while at the trial to achieve the true look I wanted. It was perfect. Oh, and she somehow made my VERY thick and VERY straight hair stay perfectly curled and big in 105 degree August heat.. I will never forget that. I would recommend Gillian and her team to anyone! They are all wonderful. Thanks again :) <3 Brianna Davin

eally helped with make up to find a good look that was natural yet finished for my photos. They were always very responsive to all my emails and questions. She even hooked me up with some pumpkin coffee at my trial. I would definitely recommend these ladies!

t arrived on time, were both so nice and pleasant to be around, had pictures to reference from my trial, and worked quickly and efficiently. Most importantly, they made everyone feel beautiful and look like a more glamorous version of themselves! Gillian is exactly the type of vendor that you want around you on a day as special yet stressful, as your wedding day. She is calm and makes you feel like she cares about making you happy and having the day run as smoothly as possible. My only regret was only hiring Gillian for hair and not makeup as well. When the makeup artist I did hire started packing up her makeup before she had even finished, resulting in the lowest point of my wedding day, Gillian even offered to go and get her makeup kit so that she could finish my makeup for me. She is a true professional! I could not be happier with the way my hair turned out, my mother and mother in law were thrilled with their hair, and my bridesmaids, one of which also used Beauty Artist Group for her wedding, all loved their hair as well. We were so happy with the work that Gillian and her assistant did for my wedding day and how our hair lasted all day and night!

ave brought too many stylists as Jess was the only one doing updos and the other stylists had to wait around. Everyone turned out perfect and we could not have been happier. Highly recommended!
I got so many compliments on how my hair looked and how lovely the make-up was. Gillian was the best, she totally understood what I wanted and delivered a lovely hair style.

uty team was super fun and everyone looked awesome. I loved how creative the team was for some of my girls that didn't have styles in mind. Everyone was beautiful and the styles and make up lasted for over 12 hours.

ing. Gillian wasn't phased and let me redo my hair trial without a problem.
I had a pretty large group - 5 bridesmaids, my best friend/officiant, my mother and mother-in-law plus me - so Gillian and her team arrived at 7am to get everyone completed by 12:30pm. They gave my girls great advice, and everyone looked beautiful.
I felt so stunning on my wedding day, and so confident! I joked with my husband I'll never look that good again, but my hair and makeup were honestly perfect. I wouldn't change thing!

ease on my wedding day (not an easy task!). I have never felt more like a princess and my entire wedding party looked stunning. I got their info as a recommendation from a friend of mine and I will definitely be recommending them now as well. They were very reasonably priced and super flexible. Most important aspects to me were expertise and demeanor and they far exceeded my expectations in both.
