en I first met her at my makeup trial. I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup day-to-day so I was worried about how I would look with professional makeup on. She nailed the “natural” look perfectly and I was so excited for my wedding day! For my hair trial, Amanda was extremely patient with me as I had no idea what I really wanted. I showed her a lot of inspiration pictures and she came up with something amazing. She spent a ton of time with me at my trial to put a few things together until I was pleased with it.
On the actual wedding day, I completely changed my mind for my hair and Amanda without hesitation had no issues. She was calm and was more concerned about me looking exactly how I wanted to look and would do anything to make me happy! Not to mention she lent me a hairpiece free of charge because the one I originally had did not go with my new up-do. Talk about professional service – unbelievable! I could not be happier with how Katlyn & Amanda made me look and feel. I felt absolutely gorgeous! My hair & makeup lasted the whole day/night (it was a pretty warm summer day!) throughout pictures, dancing, CRYING! and all :) I also had 7 bridesmaids and the whole process was seamless. The girls did not waste a second and took care of my bridesmaids & I with 100% care & dedication. The Beauty Artist Group team showed up early and did not leave until everything was perfect. My bridesmaids looked stunning and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to ease all my worries on this frantic day. Their pricing was reasonable especially for the NJ area & the service I was provided. I still keep in touch with Katlyn today because she has become a friend and not just a one-day ordeal for me. If you are in the market for professional hair or makeup, Beauty Artist Group is the perfect fit for any occasion.

Jasmine and Stephanie handled me, my 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandma with such ease. They showed up early, kept the girls moving, and we had extra time to touch everyone up at the end. The two of them are literally artists and I love them both so much - people could not get over how good my hair and makeup looked both nights. They have such an innate ability to take a simple photo and emulate it SO quickly and easily. I had a whole new different style idea than what we did at my trial and Amanda did an AMAZING job! I'm usually a hard to please person but i have to admit, i LOVED my hair! and it lasted all night which is hard to do since my hair is so thin and curls don't usually last. itive prices and great reviews, so I signed a contract for bridal hair and makeup, as well as hair and makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and the Mother of the Bride. I booked pretty early, and decided to have my trial about 5 months out from the wedding. Katlyn set up my bridal trial at their office in Millburn. Katlyn did an airbrushed makeup trial for me, while Amanda worked on getting the perfect look I wanted for my hair. I left feeling as though the airbrush makeup was not for me, and you could see every pore on my face. Katlyn was absolutely amazing when she followed up on the makeup and offered to re-do the trial with traditional makeup at no additional cost to me. I went back to the salon and tried the traditional foundation, and it turned out I was still not 100% satisfied with the way the foundation looked on my skin. Long story short, I decided only to move forward with the hair services from Beauty Artist Group for my wedding. Katlyn could not have been more understanding and accommodating, which was a breath of fresh air, as I was nervous to change our contract. She was truly professional when it came to my scenario. As far as the wedding, Amanda arrived at about 6:45am, and worked over the next several hours to complete a bridal braid up do, 4 bridesmaid hairstyles and an up do for the Mother of the Bride. Amanda was able to finish everyone’s hair with plenty of time to spare! Everyone was happy with the way their hair came out, especially ME! My bridal up do was just how I had pictured it, and it did not move all night! I would highly recommend working with Beauty Artist Group for any prospective brides out there!

of those changes and I (and my husband) could not be happier with how my make-up turned out. They also listened to all the ladies and did a wonderful job for them as well. Everyone's make-up stayed the entire time, including my lipstick. I also loved how Gillian did my hair and incorporated my hair piece. Unfortunately, the wedding was mostly outside on a somewhat windy day, so it did start to lose the curl pretty quickly, not really making it past the ceremony. So I would say my only suggestion would be that they gave some suggestions as to how to handle if the hair starts to fall, like easy ways to pin something or put it up without it looking bad. But, overall, I was very pleased and would definitely have used them again.

We never felt rushed for time at all and on top of that, all of my bridesmaids praised them for how much attention and time they each got. Everybody looked stunning! Katlyn did my bridal makeup and not only did it not budge all night but it really popped in all the photos. She did it so tastefully and with such intricacy to make sure she helped make me look beautiful but still like me... Most importantly, they made everyone feel beautiful and look like a more glamorous version of themselves! Gillian is exactly the type of vendor that you want around you on a day as special yet stressful, as your wedding day. She is calm and makes you feel like she cares about making you happy and having the day run as smoothly as possible. My only regret was only hiring Gillian for hair and not makeup as well. When the makeup artist I did hire started packing up her makeup before she had even finished, resulting in the lowest point of my wedding day, Gillian even offered to go and get her makeup kit so that she could finish my makeup for me. She is a true professional!
