ll day and night through tears, weather, and dancing. Everyone in my bridal party felt beautiful and confident, and the entire morning was stress-free. Joanie is incredibly talented, warm, and communicative. Truly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day.

anning process, answered every question with patience, and made sure I felt completely confident going into my wedding day. When the day arrived, my makeup was flawless, my hair was everything I dreamed of, and both lasted perfectly through heat, wind, tears, and hours of celebrating. My bridesmaids and mom were glowing, not just because of the beautiful work, but because Joanie, Katie, Betsy and Oula made them feel so comfortable and cared for. I’m endlessly grateful for their talent, kindness, and the magic they brought to one of the most important days of my life.

rst issue was Joanie did my trial, she should have done my actual day of makeup but she didn’t. Then I have two people who were very inconsistent in their skill. The makeup artist who did my makeup messed up horribly. My eyeliner was crooked, my eyeshadow looked like I had been punched in the eye, and I had eyelash glue showing a weird line. The only thing that looked good was my foundation. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and had her try to fix it but after the second attempt, I gave up. I ended up fixing my own eyeliner and my good friend helped fix my eyeshadow. For the cost, I expected a lot more from this place, especially since they have 5 star reviews. I reached out to Joanie after my wedding day to let her know and she said she’d compensate me for the issues but so far (over 3 months later) nothing has been done. I didn’t want to write this review but definitely brides beware. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because Joanie did a phenomenal job, but beware of the “bait and switch.”

ed. My hair normally never holds a curl and Joanie made sure that it would stay curled all night. My make up was done by Sue and it turned out absolutely perfect. She made sure that it didn’t feel cakey and stayed on my face the entire night. Joanie, Sue, and Christal filled the bridal room with such positive energy and happiness which helped make my day even more magical. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for hair or make up services. Worth every penny!

ng at Waldon Woods. She was so sweet and she was wearing her Beauty bar coat! I asked if I could take photo! I ended up calling Joanie a couple of months later and booking her for my daughter's wedding. We did the bridal package and my daughter, who is VERY picky, was able to do a trial before the actual wedding. Then when the momentous day arrived, Joanie and Katie came out to the location and did a fantastic job with all the girls and ME, the mother of the bride. Seriously, our makeup was flawless. Joanie even packed a small touch up lip color for us! Joanie is so kind and so knowledgeable. Katie did our hair and WOW....PERFECT! Our makeup and hair lasted all night! So worth it!

I did a trial before the wedding and they nailed the look I wanted immediately, but I have no doubt that if there was anything I wasn't happy with they would have worked with me until I was completely satisfied. They went above and beyond for my girls - one of the bridesmaids mentioned as she was getting her hair styled wedding morning that she thought it would look better if she had bangs. Kate whips out some scissors and gives her bangs to complete the look (and still stays totally on schedule). Would recommend working with this team to anyone!

And on top of that, their online portal made it a breeze to manage my inspiration images and the payment process for all of the women in our bridal party who elected to get services. (At least a dozen women had hair or makeup done.) I opted for a trial before the wedding day and am glad I did. It meant that the vision was totally locked in so that the morning of, there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that I would look and feel my best. Kate and her team bring the most positive vibes into your space, elevating your look but also the energy of the morning. We all requested a natural, yet elevated “glam” look - and they hit the mark. I felt so confident and knew that my groom would love it (he did!). The team showed up on time, with great products and lighting. It speaks to their work and efficiency that they were able to accommodate women in my bridal party who had not signed up for services and, on the spot, wanted to get them done. Hire this group! You won’t regret it.

lored my sister’s, mom’s, and my hair right before the wedding. We each loved our color! Even my 3 year old son, whom is terrified of hair cuts, got his hair cut by her. She recommended having him stand up and it helped out so much! On the wedding day, Sue, who was so sweet and laid back, did our makeup and accommodated everything we asked for. Kate and Crystal styled hair and did an amazing job on the entire bridal party. My sister’s hair was, by far, my favorite. I’ve never seen her look as beautiful as she did on her wedding day. The wonderful ladies at Beauty Bar and Boutique made us feel loved and like family rather than just clients. They were so efficient that we even had a little bit of extra down time before photos. Thank you lovely ladies for pampering us and making us all so gorgeous on my sister’s important day.

Making the initial deposit and signing the contract were very easy, Joanie & Kate were in contact with me regularly leading up to my wedding day, and they answered all of my questions (even sometimes responding late at night!). On my wedding day, 4 stylists showed up right on time and set everything up very quickly. All 6 of us had our hair and makeup done within 2 hours. One of the bridesmaids only planned on getting her hair done, but needed her makeup done last minute and they accommodated us, no problem. These ladies were also so fun to work with!!! We were all so impressed with how our hair and makeup turned out. I'm not one to do much with my hair or makeup, and they did a FANTASTIC job "glamming" me up while still making sure I look like myself. I wish I could give them 10/5 stars. They were phenomenal. Thank you!!

It was so nice starting off the Wedding day chatting and laughing with them. They were timely, professional, well set up and accommodating. I appreciated that they wanted to work with us and not at us. After my trial I wanted a few things changed and they were happy to make the adjustments and work with me so that I felt beautiful and comfortable. They did that with all my bridesmaids too who wanted their makeup and hair in certain ways. In short, they are amazing. 100% book them. You won't go wrong. I am so grateful they shared their talents with us!

ty serious acne scarring, I wanted to make sure it would be covered all day long. and it was! I felt so confident in my skin! Also, the best part is even though I didn't pay for the after ceremony touch ups, they still gave me my own little container of the lipstick used so I could touch up if I needed. And on top of allllllll of that - they were a freaking blast to hang out with! It felt like a party the moment they stepped into my home, they brought life and excitement and gassed all of us up. If I ever need any beauty services again, I would 10/10 be using Beauty Bar & Botutique.

MAZING. My hair (the bride) was better then I ever could of imagine! They even finished ahead of our timeline and we were able to have more time for photos! They were a JOY to have around on my big day and made us feel BEAUTIFUL! Ever since my wedding Kate is the only person I let do my hair! If you need a team that will hype you up and make you look fabulous! Then this is the team for you!
